She nods as she takes a bit of her salad. and then took a drink of water. " I had never thought about being in Starfleet but I felt it was the only way to get my fathers attention. He forbidden me to join but my brother he pushed him into joining Pavel wanted to be a chef. Once Pavel joined Starfleet I signed up for The Marines my father vas not happy...But my mother said follow your dream. It was not my dream to make my father upset I just wanted him to well....long story short he was not impressed with my career. But my mother she was always proud so I am happy."

We can't live our lives to make our parents happy, only ourselves. He poured them both a glass of wine. I never sought to impress my parents, but they were happy with my career choice. I asked around and you seemed to enjoy your tenure as a pilot. I hope command gets better. He smiles and takes a drink of wine.

She takes the glass of wine and took a drink. " It not that I wanted to make my father happy I just wanted him to know I was alive. But you are right one must live for them selfs. " She looked at her glass and shook swirled the wine around in the glass. " I did enjoy being a pilot I do not get to log much air time now a days. Never would I have thought I would be in command of a starship." She took another drink of her wine. " So tell me about your last post."

I was a specialist in the MCE. I specialized in going to 'hot spots'. Unstable warp cores, Time sensative builds and sometimes desperate solutions. I'm sure you know a lot of it, since I was told I was one of two engineers you requested. I loved the pressure, but always had the yearning to settle down on a nice starship and try my hand at inovation. They weren't happy to lose me to you at the MCE, but I agreed. There was some Admiral that tried to stop the transfer, but once it was clear that was what I wanted the MCE chief made sure it happened.

He stands up and walks over to her. You know the thing about me is this. He kisses her hand slowly never taking his eyes off her. When I see something as dangerous as fire. He leaned over and pushed her hair away from her face. I'm just drawn straight to it. He leaned in and kissed her a long soft kiss.

He walked down the corridor carrying a box tucked under his arm.He had meant to give it to Davey the minute he arrived after he approved his move to the Tarawa.He had been transfered so fast he had not had the chance.
He made a left turn at the junction and walked a few more meters to the door.He rang the chime hoping Major Iverson and Davey would be in their quarters.

She heard the chimes and went to the door. Seeing it was the co she immediately opened the door.
"Hello, Colonel Allen this is a welcomed surprise, come in. Just don't mind the mess, you know children at play." a soft embarrassed laugh. "Would you like a cup of coffee and I promise it will not be the Iverson special."

He stepped in,"No worries Major I understand children and you should see mine at times.A cup of coffee sounds great."
"I just hope I did not come at a bad time I don't want to intrude.Some one's quarters are their homes on a ship so as far as I am concerned unless its ships business the rank stops at the door."

After finding the quartermaster she got her accommodation assignment and some new uniforms. She walked down the corridor and found her quarters. She entered the code and went in she started to put her things away. A short time later she was done and headed back for sick bay.

She got to her quarters and wasted no time packing some civilian clothing. Once she was done she put out another set of civilian clothing to wear. She took off her uniform and went to the shower. She stood there as the water hit her, she knew she was short with Major Aniri and Colonel Allen. It was not them it was the day back during the war this was the day she lost most her squad in a special OP mission.
She stepped out of the shower and dried her self off. She put on her clothing and then fixed her hair a bit. She picked up her suitcase and left her quarters and headed for sick bay.

On the way to the marine deck she stopped off for a quick shower. Sandra was still feeling tired from the sedative but she needed to get order and routine back. Grabbing a cup of coffee she drank it quickly, then left for her office.

The TL stopped on the deck where her quarters were located. She stepped out of the lift and headed to her room, as she got close the doors open and she walked in and went to her bedroom to change into something more comfortable. She was in limbo deciding what she was going to do once they go to the starbase.

He stepped off the Turbo Lift where Lt Doogan's qyarters were located. He knew they were going to be stopping off at SB 234 and wondered if she would be able to spend time with him on the Star base. If not, he would stay with her and help her recuperate
He paused at her door and rang the chime to announce his presense
