He took a sip of the win that Zarlena poured him and found it was delicious. He then felt her take his hand, leading him to th couch

"Tell me what you want out of life." She asked him point blank when he was seated

He knew that was not an unusual question to be asked by a Betazoid woman. He pondered the question, coming up with a suitable answer "I want to live my life as healthy as I can, as the Great Goddesses have planned for me. I also want to find and settle down with a bond mate as well, perhaps have children"

When he told Sam that hardly anything scared him, what he didn't say is that he was pretty nervous around women. He can be a tough as nails marine but when it came to women, they were an unknown and you couldn't be as rough with them, or barge through their defenses like you could the enemy. Caution is definately a must with them

When she asked if he wanted to come in for a drink, he gave her a lopsided grin "Sure, i would love to"

She unlocks her door and enters her quarters "Lights on" the room lights up

She turns and looks at Thomas "what would you like?"

He followed Sam in and glanced around as the lights came up

She turned and looked at him, he stepping in far enough to let the doors closed and asked if he wanted anything

He thought for a moment before asking "Do you have any Scotch"?

Sam smiles at him "Yes I do and I have a bottle of real Scotch" she gets it out and two glasses "Do you want Ice?" She smiled waiting for a reply

He smiled back at Sam when she said "Yes I do and I have a bottle of real Scotch"

"Awesome" he says as she turned to get the Scotch and two glasses then she asked if he wanted any ice "Yes, ma'am. Ice would be good. Scotch is good but better when it's cold" He smiled, with a chuckle

she puts some ice in the glasses then pours the scotch, the takes the drinks and sits by Jackson

She hands him his drink she looks at him and smiles "Cheers to new friends

He watched as she brought the drinks back over, offering him one. He took it with a smile, hearing her toast "Cheers to new friends"

"I'll drink to that" He clinked his glass with hers "To new friends"

He took a sip of his scotch to seal the toast

She took a sip of the scotch she could the warmth from the drink, her eyes got big

"That's smooth" she says, she had got the scotch to have on hand when David visits.

She looked at Jackson and smiled at as she looked at him she thought He is very nice and quite hansom

She took another drink and squinted her eyes, she sets the scotch down and opens her eyes "Maybe more" she says

He felt the cool warmth of the scotch go down and he smiled, seeing Sam's eyes get big "That's smooth" she exclaimed and he nodded "Yes, smooth and very good.. Good year"

He thought that she was saving this particular vintage for a special occasion or just for regular visitors. He glanced at her, thinking she was very attractive, and wondered how come that she hadn't found someone yet. Perhaps she had but something happened. Would explain her mood when he first arrived. seemed morose and subdued

She took another sip and so did he. She squinted her eyes and the placed her drink down. He lowered his glass looking at her curiously "more"? he asked

She took a breath "I find my self being attracted you" she says "I would not mind being more than freinds.....but I'm scared"

She picks up her drink and takes a drink, then coughs "The last Guy I had feelings for died"

she takes another drink, her eyes tear up "I don't want you to die because I like you" she sets her empty glass back down

Gets up and replicates a beer then sits back down, and takes a drink "That's better, Scotch is a bit strong for me" she giggles

He heard her took a breath "I find my self being attracted you" she said. He looked surprised "I would not mind being more than friends.....but I'm scared"

She picked up her drink again and takes a drink, then coughed "The last Guy I had feelings for died" Still looking surprised, he frowned at that. No wonder she looked so sad and withdrawn

she took another drink, then teared up "I don't want you to die because I like you" she then set her empty glass back down

She got up to go get something less potent, he surmised and then he responded "I'm sorry to hear your other guy died but I'm not planning to die anytime soon. Truth be known, I am a bit scared too. I am not that good around women, but with you, I feel comfortable and I too would not mind if we decided to be more then just friends. I would be honored to be more then just a friend, Sam

She then came back with a beer, telling him that Scotch was too strong for her. He chuckled, then teased "Yeah, Scotch will put some hair on your chest. Not that you need that" He laughed a bit

She smiled at him as she thought Dexx didn't plan on dieing either, She gets nervous "Want go steady?" she asks felling like she in school again

She then looked down at her chest a giggled "I hope not what gut go with hairy chested woman"

When she looked at her chest, His eyes went there too. He liked what he saw He then laughed when she asked him what guy would go out with a woman with a hairy chest "None that I would know" he said

He blinked when she asked if he wanted to go steady with her "You mean go steady as in date each other, spend as much as we can together, and see if we fall in love with each other?"

He smiled "Yes, I would love to, Sam"

She could not help but giggle at his reply "That;s usely the idea of going steady" she moves close close to him and kisses him "So do I tell David or do you tell him, Hes like a brother he should know"
