No need to get fur ruffled, Lieutenant. He smiled at Davenport then to Tailkinker. I'm just doing my duty looking out for a fellow officer.

Mr Lang, I would like a status report on repairs to the ship please, She said with a warm smile. Doctor, thank you and no one here is in direct need of your services but if you would like to stay on the bridge to observe the crew for a report of morale or mental fitness you are welcome. She rubbed her arm unconsciously where she had taken the injection.

Well 'ma'am', Robert said in a playful voice then changing to a more professional tone. "Repairs are 99 percent complete. We are actually ahead of schedule, which is why I'm here on the bridge. Now that I'm 'legal' I'm taking a more supervisory role."

Okay, I'm sending a status report to the Captain and Commander, along with an update on my assuming command. She tap on the PADD so fast her fingers are almost a blur. She signs it and sends it.

Deka finished her tea. The scientists had not appeared on the list of station "guests" yet they were here to make repairs. That made their status something of a mystery. Were they officially here or not? Sometimes the easiest way to get information was just to ask for it. She took her empty cup back to the counter and ordered another, placing a slip of latinum on the counter along with it.
"I've seen those two before and I understand they're here to make repairs to their ship. Would you happen to know where they're staying?" The server looked at Deka and at the latinum. "I've only seen them here. They rarely leave the docking area and they never talk about anything else but equations and theories." "Maybe I could find them there then." She placed a second slip next to the first. "What was the docking number?" He picked up both and pocketed them, took her cup, and grinned. "Eight. Would you prefer to take your tea with you?"

Reeba made some notes as Taahlandi rubbed her arm unconsciously where she had taken the injection.
"Yes I think I shall stay and observe for awhile" she says she makes more notes as Lang starts off in a playful voice before changing to a more professional tone
~Hum not sure if he can be light or has to be professional all the time~ the thinks as she watches the bridge

Laren noticed 'comm light' on the console. She said "Bridge."
"So you really did it?" The voice on the other end sounded bemused.
What are you referring to mister?" She said sounding official.
"You took command of the bridge ma'am?" He said stifling the jovial tone.
"I'm on the comm, Mister." She said sounding impatient. "What do you have to report?"
"Captain Delor has returned to the ship." He said with trepidation.
"Alright, then I'll expect him on the bridge." She answered
"I wouldn't really Ma'am," He paused to think. "You see, he's..how should I put it? 'Sauced'.
"The Captain?" She questioned. "Our Captain? Delor?"
"Yes Ma;an." He answered. "Should we do anything to help him."
"Not unless he asks for it." She ordered."He's a Cardassian, you trying to help him would be and insult. It his ship so I'm sure he won't make a big mess on it. Just follow him and make sure wherever he lands its in private. Tahlandi out."

Dropping his paperwork in a scuffle of fluttering lights and flickering backgrounds. thankfully cardassians sobered quickly and rarely felt the full effect of most spirits and liquers takig the PADD from his pocket his small mission obviously a huge success taps his com badge "Delor to Rekalan your report at your earliest convience if you could please i've found some intresting material that may assist us in out hunt i'll check in on things topside shortly" humming to himself making some red leaf tea to calm and steady his stomach before whistling out the door drink in hand headed towards the brodge swiftly regaining soberity shaking the cobwebs of a few good days without sleep out of his eyes as the turbolift opens towards the bridge level. not so much as a glance towards his bridge crew untill he reaches the center noticing an unusual sight in his chair " lientenant tahlandi jsut what do you think your doing riding my chair?" looking around at thedoctor" someone ill?" back to his tactical officer" full tactical status report at once in triplicate on my desk in print please my eyes are sore from to many computer displays and did someone change the tempeture in here "computer 297.0388889 kelvindegrees kelvin if you please " the room warms to a plesent subtropical temepeture reletive humidity around 30% sighing to himself " ahh yes much better .Nodding back to the mouse." keep up the good work i'll be in my ready room"

The message light on Deka's personal padd blinked twice. The incoming was a report from Tahlandi who stated she'd assumed command of the bridge after she and Delor had left. She smiled despite herself. The redrat was not so timid after all. She checked the station layout again. Dock eight was almost three quarters of the station's length away from where Trevious was. She gave a resigned sigh and started off. She'd have to make sure before going back. It wouldn't do at all to find out she hadn't received the correct information for her money. Her comm chirped and she heard Delor's voice.
"Delor to Rekalan your report at your earliest convenience if you could please.I've found some interesting material that may assist us in out hunt. I'll check in on things topside shortly"
Was that a hint of a slur she heard? Deka tapped her comm in response. "I've been watching the scientists. I had a look at their vessel's schematics and located their ship."

It took a moment before Deka fully comprehended the jumble of information she'd just received. She'd heard something about how "they" created the nebula, just before Delor had signed off. Created the nebula? She'd started to ask for clarification but he'd already closed the link. That 'would' explain how the scientists were able to travel within it and not suffer the same ill effects. She continued walking, though a ride would have been greatly preferred.. Secrecy was a definite inconvenience. And pictures? She'd have to worry about getting inside 'first'.

meanwhile back a tthe ranch Julius is actually getting down to some serious work reading over the reports from the scientists apparently this is all in outlines notes and prerelease and testing phases obviously useful information but even the ships layout seems wrong shaking his head continuing on as they discuss the photonic emitter array they plan on using the generate the worm hole in thier layout some mention of a romulian warp core and a black hole drive all very crurious material as he thumbs thru the printed data sheets

Scanning the frequencies, Deka located the security feed and video link. Not surprisingly, the guards were positioned where she figured they'd be just out of range. They were certainly making enough noise though. Deka guessed there was no accompanying audio feed or they wouldn't have taken such a risk. Most likely there was another security feed inside the hangar so unless she could take the feed offline, there was no way to get in unobserved. She also had to consider that if she was able to get the code, there would be a record of her on file as the last user. Deka scowled. There was no way she was going to be able to get in there without assistance. She tapped her comm and spoke softly. "Rekalan to Lang."
