Kasia smiled at the Doctor, "Of course your welcome to join us, you should have seen it in here a few minutes ago it was literally empty, the place sure does fill up fast."

Kyah wanders in and looks around. She saw lots of people and shyly went to the replicator in the corner and found a recipie for macaroni and cheese. She makes her food and looks around again at the crowd. She wondered why she was so skittish around all of these people... she usually liked people. She retreated to a corner of the room to eat, stealing glances at the others in the room, especially the handsome marine who looked to be about her own age.

When the doctor sat down she smiled at her.
"Good to have you join us Doc. I asked everyone if they would be interested in joining in on a wager." She smiled playful and had a mischievous glint in her eyes. "I say we will be leaving in 24 - 48 hours. And I'm willing to back that with 5 credits. What do you think? Kol'rah what do you say?"
"Yes indeed, Kaisa was the only one here when I came in about what? Two hours ago."

He turns to Zarlena, smiling mischeviously
"I'll wager on that, Zarlena. I say 72 hrs and up the bet to 10 credits. What do you say?
As he waited for her answer, Kestra and Kyah come in and joined them at the table. he turned to greet them
"Hello Kestra, Kyah. I am pleased to see both of you and glad that you both can join all of us"

Morgan entered Five Forward ,looking she saw a table crowded with people.She saw they seemed to be having a good time. At the bar she saw the Colonel. She approached him and saluted holding here orders. Sir Morgan Conner reporting as ordered.
She stood at attention awaiting his reply.

Thomas looked up ,from his coffee.He saluted back," at ease marine."He looked over her orders as well as her academy records.
Nodding he was impressed her commandants had nothing but great things to say about her."Welcome aboard 2nd Lt. Conner you are my MXO."
Thomas normally would have put someone with more experience at this job but his gut instinct told him she would do just fine.
"Now as you realize this is a big step up,I have full confidence you can do it.You Commanding Officer is Romulan so I am sure he will be very demanding of you."
He sipped his coffee,"It is getting late I suggest you report to him in the morning.For now you can get some rest or meet the crew."Thomas gestured toward the crowded table.
Making sure she had no questions he dismissed her and stood.it had been a long day and Thomas decided to head for his quarters.Tomorrow would be a busy day indeed.

Looking at Melvin she smiled, "Your on then 10 credits. Anyone else?"
Zarlena noticed the new person who entered she didn't remember seeing her before. Seeing Kyah sitting alone she smiled warmly at her inviting her to join them.
The more people around the happier most Betazoids were. As a Marine Zar understood the importance of a strong family feeling among the crew. She looked forward to coming months they would all be together.

Kol'Rah could not help himself,"I will take the bet ma'am.From what I have seen the Federation is slow to move."
He meant no offense with the statement he was simply going on what he had observed on the Vindi.
Kol'Rah found this was the first bet he hoped he lost in his life.He saw the Doctor come to the table as well as the counselor."Qapla'

Amy found she was suddenly shy for the moment.She said hello to everyone and smiled as Kestra talked.In truth being out of her element made her a little nervous.
her ears did perk up at Captain Zarlena's wager,"I will get in on this as well.I bet five credits that it will be four days before we ship out."
In fact Amy had no clue when the Tarawa would move out,it was her way of relaxing among so many people just having fun.

Kelly laughed when so many jumped on Zar's bet."I am not even going there", he chuckled loudly.
He took a sip of his Scotch,"I have figured out one thing if Zar has a hunch you better go with it.In fact I will get in on Zar's side,if she says 24 to 48 hours I believe her."
Kelly smiled to all at the table including the Doctor and Kestra.

Her head swam for second as he told her she was the MXO.Morgan nodded to the Colonel as he left.She stood for a moment very surprised he would have such trust in her.
She mumbled to herself,"I wont let you down sir."She turned and walked to the table.Morgan was many things but shy was not in her vocabulary.
"Hello everyone I am 2nd Lt Morgan Conner the new MXO,mind if I have a seat?"She smiled her warm smile as she waited to see if they would greet her back.

After shaking the Doctor’s hand, Thomas looked over at Zarlena and smirked at the wager she was making. “I will wager 5 credits that our mission will start in three days.”, he replied to Zarlena. He glanced over at the Counselor and gave her a nod after she greeted everyone.
Before he could say hello, the new MXO had came over and introduce herself to them. "Hello, Ma'am, and welcome aboard. I am Lance Corporal Thomas Kinsely, one of the Combat Marines on board.", he said to Lt Conner.
Thomas noticed a 2nd Lt entering in and heading over to a table by herself after she gotten herself something to eat. He smiled as he watches her for a moment and that a lady should never sit alone.
"Pardon me for a moment. There is someone that I like to meet.", he said with a smile.
After pardoning himself, Thomas walked over to where Kyah was sitting. Once he gotten close enough, he slightly cleared his throat before speaking. “Hello, Ma’am. I hope I am not bothering you, but I have noticed that you were sitting by yourself and thought that I could come over to keep you company.”, he said with a Scottish accent and a warm smile. All the while talking to her, he was looking into her eyes. He could not help to notice of how attractive she is.
“I am Lance Corporal Thomas Kinsely. Everyone calls me Thomas or Tom.”, he said as he extends his hand. “Do you mind if I join you?”

She saw McFerrin come in and she smiled at him. He was always sitting by himself. She looked at him and then waved him over.
"Hello Morgan, I'm Marine Captain Zarlena Dorius Chief helm. Please come and sit with us. We were just making wagers as to how long it will take for the ship to leave the station. You want to join in?"
She looked at Kol'rah and laughed. "I have to agree with you sometimes Starfleet seems slow but trust me Kol'rah sometimes things move at lightening speed. And we run around trying to keep up. You came aboard at one of those slow times."
Zar smiled as Kensley walked over to Kyah.

Kasia smiled thinking. "Well I'll go on that bet...I'll say a nice round 36 hours and 30 min. That should give everyone enough time to decide what to do and get around to doing it so we can finally launch this ship."
She then looks the the newcomer. "Hello Morgan, I'm Ensign Kasia Kaz, the Tarawa's Head Nurse, its a pleasure to meet you."
