The Borg Made it to Earth.
The Enterprise D which as been disabled in a prior encounter with the Borg had she made it to Wolf 359 she most likely would have been destroyed The Enterprise D made it to earth and destroyed the Borg Cube

The Enterprise-D recovered Picard and used his connection to the hive-mind to disable the cube before it could attack Earth
Picard fights through to give Data one simple Borg network command: Sleep. Data successfully implants a command that causes the Borg cube to activate its regenerative cycle and power down.
An Away Team discover the Cube is experiencing power feedback the Away team return the Enterprise Moves way and the Power Feedback destroys the Borg Cube

USS Saratoga Commanded by Benjamin Sisco was lost as well he escaped along with his son Jake, Jakes Mom was killed at at the Wolf 359 battle one of the 11.000 who died
