The CO's Ready Room is located on the bridge, but is also hard-wired into the CO's personal quarters, which contains a second ready-room.

Admiral Malc entered his readyroom and saw that a sub-space message was awaiting him. He walked behind the desk, and pulling the chair up behind him, he sat down and opened the command-console on his desk. After entering his authorization, He saw the following: Greetings Admiral,
I would like to make a request that Lance Corporal Thomas Kinsley be promoted to full Cpl. He has distinguished himself in the last mission, and was one of the Marines who held the ship against the boarding hostiles, using some innovative techniques that were not ordered, showing leadership.
You are gaining a fine Combat Marine.

He paused a moment, glancing at the other SSM again, then tapped-out the letter to Captain Dorius:
Captain Dorius,
As is my policy with officers being transfered to my ship from another, I will promote 2nd Lt. Kyah Kinsley. However, the promotion will take the form of a Naval rank as her duties will be naval in-nature. Her New rank will be Lieutenant, the equivalent of 1st Lieutenant in the Marine ranking-structure.
This promotion will take place based soley on your recommendation. Thank you for the information, and the fine young officer.

Thomas made his way to the Ready Room. Stood at the door as he rang the chime. He tried not to think of what Admiral Malc wanted to talk to him about. Too much thought on one thing would not be a good thing on some cases. He stood by the door with his hands behind his back.

Admiral Malc had just sat-down behind his desk and opened the command-console, when the chime rang, indicating that someone was waiting to come in.
"Come in." Admiral Malc said as he leaned-back in his chair.

Mutlley follows Mr Kinsley to the Admls room and politely knocks before entering.. Stepping in he Holds his tail from swaying around and snaps a sharp salute then presents his orders to the Admiral.. Sir L/Cpl Mutlley Hunter reporting for Duty!
..... he sniffs the air and looks pleased at the scents he gets.

Thomas entered into the ready room. Once he entered, he took the time to stand at attention. He remembered the intructions that Admiral Malc gave to only salute in formal settings and knew that this case was not a formal setting.
"I have came by as ordered, sir.", he replied.
He heard someone came into the ready room after he already entered. Started to sneeze a bit, but was able to stop after the second sneeze. He went back to attention.

The file indicated that Mr. Hunter was "Kaindorian", a genetically created species.
Malc decided that he'd have to read more about this species, but for now he had other things he needed to attend to first.
He looked up from the command console:"Mr. Hunter, this is Corporal Kinsely, the Marine-contingent, Commanding officer. You will be reporting to him."Admiral Malc paused so the two could meet each other. |

Thomas looked towards Mr. Hunter and extended his hand towards him to shake hands.
"Welcome aboard, Mr. Hunter.", he replied.
He felt a sneeze about to come, but it didn't. One of those annoying sneezes that refuses to come out.

Admiral Malc watched as LCrpl Hunter gave a rigid salute to MCO Kinsely. Thomas welcomed the new marine to the Trevious, then stifled what appeared to be a sneeze.
When neither marine had anything more to say, Admiral Malc spoke-up:
"Thank you for checking-in so promptly Mr. Hunter." Admiral Malc said
"You'll need to go see the quartermaster, on deck five, to get your living-quarters assigned to you." Admiral Malc paused a moment then continued:
"If that is all Mr. Hunter, I have some business with Corporal Kinsely that needs to be addressed."
Admiral Malc finished speaking and waited for the new marine to excuse himself.

Admiral Malc nodded to Mutlley Hunter as he informed him that he'd go to the quartermaster's office after visiting the sick-bay.
When the marine left the ready room, admiral Malc turned his attention back to Corporal Kinsely.
"Have a seat Corporal, Admiral Malc said.
"Do you prefer to be called Thomas or Tom?"

Lieutenant(jg) George Harris approached Admiral Malc's Ready Room. He was curious to see what the CO is like. He pressed the chime button, Admiral Malc, this is Lieutenant Harris, reporting for duty."
