Trevious' Bridge

The tension made her feel even colder than usual. It was always just a little too cool for comfort on the bridge. There was probably a standard setting and provided the crew had no special needs, it was never adjusted. Deka made a quick check of the system. She wonderer whether Commander Delor noticed the temperature or found it uncomfortable as she did. Deciding suddenly, Deka tapped several keys, making a small adjustment of two degrees. A compromise. A little more comfortable for herself but not too warm for the other officers.

She was still at tactical, even after all this time, keeping a watch on sensors and tactical displays

She looked up, feeling the slight change in the heat, as it increased slightly. She glanced over toward the Cardassian First Officer for a moment, hoping she doesnt increase the temperature anymore. She's still comfortable, but she didn't like a lot of heat. She was more comfortable with colder climates/temperatures

She turned her attention back to her displays

Finally standing up and exiting for the bridge the humidity in his ready room just right makes exiting for the bridge a little cold shivering slightly in the cool air. " computer increase relitive humidity two percent on the bridge module command over ride Delor tango three alpha " glancing over his shoulder on his way for the replicator "nice day isn;t it? make an engineering requisite to have someone inspect my replicator. seems to be inoperative at the moment " hacking in the bypass for a cup of redleaf tea and a basket of biscuits and garlic sauce to dip the whole mess in nodding around at the center seat the one he,d barely had a chance to look at recentlysmirking dropping his head " and someone inform me once we approach delta reticuli starfleets sent the new orders for our next assignment already regardless of what I would like to do" exiting back towards his ready room with a cough and a nod in the Lt Commanders direction.

Her transport ship arrived and she walked out into the bustle of DS9. She found out where the Trevious was docked and immediately went there. She entered the gangplank then found out where the bridge was. She hesitated for a moment and then got her quarters assignment and went directly to the bridge.

As the doors opened she saw a tall male walk back to a room. She followed him and then rang the chimes.

Stops for a moment considering the sound of his buzzer for a moment as if it were alien to him and finally replys. "enter" seeing the colisan female enter his ready room and present her transfer orders" I wasn,t expecting you till 1400 hours you are early." nodding hand extended in greeting.

Walks in then salutes, and hands him her orders. When he extended his hand she tilted her head and blinked her eyes.

"Yessss now I remember." She extends her hand and shakes his. She noticed he held her hand tightly. Was he attracted, NO NO may the god Passsslet forbid it. She extracted her hand quickly so not to give the wrong impression.

"I wasss here and sssaw no reassson not to report in. I apologizzze if thisss createssss a problem."

Examining the service record. "colasian no medical conditions present" looking over the padd and down the barrell of his nose" you do understaand I still require a medical screening?" "graduated top marks in helm navigations and sensor operations a secondary rating in science if i read corrrectly. a recent graduate of starfleet academy with five yeaars service." nodding please have a seat Lt ummm Ur,ack? if i'm pronouncing that correctly?"

She listened to him as asked his questions. "I would like to partake of a glass of water. Water is good for many things. But why the interest in such mundane things as religious ceremonies and such?"

"why I can't think there would be anythng mundane about ones religious ceremonies or ones religious affiliation it could affect job performance require downtimes certain nonwork hours that could be debtrimential to ones mission maybe an oversion to certain species a predetermined mindeset we are after all working with " glances left and right as if notto be heard "Bajorans and they can be rather complicated with thier ceremonies and thier practices and policies as i've discovered"

As for time I would require off, Twice a week I will require several of your hours under the simulated sun rays of my home world. This can be done in my quarters while I sleep."

"Religious matters we believe our life's are a celebration to our gods and as such require little else. Twice a yr we have observances that are mandatory other then that we believe such things are private matters. Mindset? I am not sure what is meant by that please explain."

Kyah smiles at the new crewmember from her seat at ops. It was always nice to meet new people, she thinks to herself. Hopefully there were lots of new people to get to know, especially if their new mission was going to last a long time.
