"i can hear up too 2 miles. and Taz will do just fine. so shall we get started then? the mine is about 3 miles away" Taz replied
Notices the look she gave him "I can see through walls but only in peoples and animals body heat and i can see up to 3 miles during a clear day like this. If you wanted to know i can hera through walls and doors" Taz said to Saris

Kasia realized that there might be something wrong with the com systems that was making it difficult for her com message to get to Dr. McFerrin. She decides to go back into the medical ward to see if there was anything else she could find out.
She looks around and sees what looks to be a mine worker. He looks sedate...tired, but also very quiet. She stands there for what seems like an hour as nurses come over to talk to him...but he just brushes them off. It was times like these that she wished she was an empath. But she would have to settle for having three life times of experience in her. She walks up to him.
"Hello." He looks over to her and simply nodds. "I thought you could use some company perhaps. You seem rather lonely." He continues to stare into space. "I'm never lonely it seems....I guess thats the advantage of being a joined trill always having voices in your head at times, and memories of others. I always know that they are with me no matter how tough the situation gets."
She looks over to him, and smiles. "I'm sorry, I'm talking too much...i do that sometimes. So tell me what got you into here?" She asks him. She stays quiet as he continues to stare into space.
He then begins to speak. "I was a mine worker, I was in a mining accident....I was one of the few who survived....my older brother was beside me......he didnt make it." He looked at her. "I think that about covers how I am Miss."
"Oh how silly of me...its Kaz...Kasia Kaz." He nodds.
"Interesting name"
"Well its not all mine....Kaz is my symbiont...trills take on the symbionts name as their last name when they are joined....my original name was Kasia Lenar."
"Its pretty...you shouldnt have dropped it."
Kasia smiles and blushes...."thank you for saying so but it is tradition."
"Ha...I never liked tradition....Trills, Vulcans and Betazoids have one thing in common....they all have rediculus traditions." Kasia laughed at this.
"Well, maybe to you....but those cultures wouldnt be who they are with out traditions....I believe humans have some interesting traditions as well."
He stays silent for a moment..."Ha...I guess your right....you got me there....I like you. Your different from the other nurses....you actually care."
She smiles..."Thank you." She knew she was close to something...to what she had no idea.

"I was wondering did you ever see any one suspicious down there?"
He sat their silently "Yes"
"And what did they look like, if you remember."
"It was a male...he would be in workers clothing...but I had never seen him before. He also never seemed to be doing anything important."
She nodds. "Continue"
He sighs...."He was...short...shorter then me...maybe 5 foot 5 at the most....on a good day." He said with a smile. She smiles back, encouraging him. "Before my mine had the accident...the one where I survived, I saw him lurking around. He was working with a device of some kind. A munitions device. I believe he was responsible for it. He set the trap for all of us down there. We could have all died. And then no one would have known what really happend down there."'
"Why havnt you told this to any one?"
"Because, I saw him before it exploded. He was leaving the mine. Hes still out there...and no one knows it." He goes silent for a moment. "I know I should have told some one, but I was afraid that if he found out what I knew, that I'd be next."
"I understand."
"Please you cant let any one know that I saw all of this." He whispers to her.
"Don't worry, I wont tell any one." she says. She knew she might need him latter on board the Tarawa...she needed him alive. "Why don't you rest for now. It could help."
He nodds and lays his head against the pillow as she leaves the ward again going out into a hallway.

Taz nodded as he put the leash on him he waits till there within a mile of the mine before he takes off breaking free of the leash to go after a small animal. he runs past a mine worker who yell for him to stop but he ignores them and continues into the mine where he would start his investigation.
"This could very well be fun to do" Taz thought to himself
He continues deeper into the mine sniffing the air and looking around for anything suspicious he stops when he picks up a conversation 2 miles away he moves to the side so he can see who is talking he sits there listening

When Driker gets lose and runs off she runs after him. "Taz! Come back!" She is stopped by the mine worker.
Mine Worker: Sorry miss you can't go in there.
She makes a sad face." But my Dog I have to get him, I have had him since he was a puppy. Why can't I go up there?"
Mine Worker: There has been outbreak of an infection in the mines no one can go up there. if we find your dog we will have to quarantine him. You should not even be this far why are you here?
"I was just taking my dog for a walk I did not realize we were this close to the mine" She hoped he buy that. "Can I go around the other way? He may have went that way."
Mine Worker: Sure just stay on the path.
She smiled." You said there was an outbreak here in the mine did it start here?"
Mine Worker: Yes it did thats way we are keeping everyone away.
"Ah ok well thank you..." She waved to him and was off to see what else she could find out.

Taz proceeded ahead further into the mines where he came across a large passage way he spots a empty vial laying on the ground he moved up closer to it and took a sniff of it trying to ascertain exactly what it is, He then turns around and spots several traps laid around.
"Think i struck gold as humans say" Taz mused to himself

As she walks down the path she runs into two guards.
Guard1: What are you doing here?
looking distressed." I lost my dog a Brown Great Dane have you seen him?" She tries to make some tears.
Guard1: No one walks there pets over here everyone here knows that and the park is on the other side of the complex.
"I know I chased him all the way here. I was hoping to get him before he got this far". Hoping they would buy her story.
Guard2: Ok Miss we have to be careful with everything thats happen.
"Yes since the out break in the mines I understand."
Guard1: And the accidents in the labs at the research facility.
"What kind of accidents?"
Guard2: {Hits guard one in the arm} Sorry miss thats classified, your going to have to head back.
"Please sir I need to find my dog." Starts to cry.
Guard2: Alright alright lady don't cry. Stay on the path but once you reach the check point you will have to turn back.
She smiled at them. " Ok thank you very much." and she continued down the path. Once she was far enough she sighed with relief.

She sat at her desk and glanced at the time. She had away teams planet side and waiting for them to return was nerve racking. Waiting was not a strong suit with her.
She was concerned for Ta'mak a new Marine, well trained but still she was worried. Lt Saris was more experienced and knew her way around. But again she didn't know the Marines under her command yet.
She decided the best thing to do was to busy herself with some reports. Something that never seemed to be done.

Taz looked around and doesn't see anyone in the immediate area so he picked the vial up and curled up his front paws close to him so he can conceal it while he walks. he starts hearing voices coming up from behind him he moves as fast as he can with his broken leg to get out of the area before they arrive as they get closer he hears one of them telling the other one
"With all these accidents we've been having. it brought our total percentage of accidents we've been having up to 41% it doubled in such a short time. said one of the workers
Taz continued to walk forward making note of what he has just heard he limbs further and hears someone coming up from the left side of the four way junction he came too he leaned up against the side of the wall to minimize his appearance these weren't talking but move at a good clip they continued moving forward once they were out of ear shot he moved forward continuing straight ahead where he sees light up ahead he arrives into the sunlight and limps as fast as he can pass the checkpoint he continued forward into the near area with lots of trees and he waits well out of site of the guards for his master to come.

She's unsure of what to do. She monitors communications and sensors, but otherwise, she's totally confused. She feels the effects of crazy hormones from pregnancy and as the second trimester is coming to a close, she has a lot of hormones and changes to deal with. She looks around the bridge to see who is where.

Running silently he makes way toward the edge of the nebula. Tapping his communications panel he sends out a call to the Tarawa. Readjusting his gain he tries again. Detecting faint signal form the ship he starts to guide the shuttle toward the location.
"Erein Khellian to Tawara," he sends on a coded channel piggybacked on a tight sensor beam to mask his location from unwanted 'ears'. "I am returning to the ship. Please inform the Major that there is a station cloaked and there are at least 4 ships docked."

She walked down the path a bit and See's she is alone, then call for the Corporal. Here Taz time to go home.....Tazzz! She whistles for him and looks around for any sign of him.

He hears the whistle and his master calling he comes limping out of his hiding place he followed her back to the transport site. It's uneventful on the way back and once they arrived back he makes a report of his findings.
"There are several traps set-up in there and i found a empty vial laying on the ground I picked it up that is why i am limping" He showed Saris the vial

Some time had passed and Justin, along with his engineering teams, were through with their repairs and gathering up subspace shunts and remote devices to retrieve further information on them. He would have gather the information from the remote devices when he gets back to the ship. Walked over to where they have transported down to and was ready to transport back up on the ship. Signals the ship’s operation officer to beam them up and would transport back up on the ship.
Once on board, he nodded over to the transporter chief and stepped off the transporter padd. Justin begins to walk out of the transporter room with the tools, subspace shunts and remote devices in hand, making his way down towards the turbo lift. He steps inside the turbo lift and called out the deck he needed to be. After a short while, the turbo lift stopped and he exited the turbo lift, making his way down the corridor towards main engineering. He knew that Major Aniri would want the report as soon as possible and would work straight on trying to get the intel information from the remote devices before making his report.
