He decided to call it a night.Excusing himself he headed for the TL.His Comm Badge chirped.It was the Duty Officer,"Colonel you have a priority one message from General Weslynes."
He told the computer to take him to the Bridge.Stepping off he headed for his Ready Room.He gave his access code and watched as the Generals face appeared on his view screen.
He listened intently as she explained the problem and the mission.Some of it was top secret however.Only he and Jaylas could hear that part.
He thanked the General and both wished each other good luck.He walked out to the Bridge,"Helm new setting Proximus IV warp factor 8.6.You will find the coordinates are already in your computer."
He told the OPS Officer to patch him into the ships Comm."Attention all senior Officers and Station Officers there will be a meeting in the Ready Room in six hours.I suggest you get some sleep."
He cut the Comm,and tapped his own,"Jaylas please meet me in the Ready Room immediately thanks."He shook his head,they all had performed great in testing now they could be tested for real.

Kyah and Thomas were heading for sickbay. "Come on querido." She hears the comm and continues. "Let's go to sickbay really quick and then we can get some sleep." She takes his hand and they go into sickbay.

She was sleeping when her comm went off. As it beeped she cursed, tapping it she listened to the Colonel.
"Yes sir on my way."
She knew better then to linger even for a moment in that bed, after an hours sleep. She got up and then walked to the bathing area. Washing up and bushing her hair, she got into her uniform.
As she passed the replicator she got a cup of strong Androian coffee cool enough to drink it down immediately. She left a message for Akoval and then left their quarters.
Entering the TL she wondered what would be so important that it couldn't wait until the morning.
"Computer Bridge" the TL immediately left then a few seconds later it stopped and the doors hissed opened. She go out and immediately went to his ready room yawning once.
"Sir you wanted to see me?"

"Sorry for getting you out of bed Jaylas but this just came in from the General."He played the transmission for her to watch.
"It seems we have a distress signal from the mining colony.The population is 1500.The planet has a barely tolerable atmosphere and the temperature swings from 88 degrees Celsius to -10 Celsius at night."
Sipping his coffee and having a seat offering her one as well.The USS Stalingrad a Galaxy class was sent there 3 days ago.We have not heard from her since."
"Our orders are to go investigate,since the distress signal gave us no information it only lasted 15 seconds before it ended.Star Fleet has tried hailing them but no response.And as you can see we are under Top Secret orders since they also had a research facility there as well."
He controlled his frustration."It seems they we working on a new type of torpedo there as well.In theory it was supposed to be three times more powerful than our quantum's.They could not get it to work correctly however."
"Jaylas I wish I had more information for you but that is all anyone has.We will be going in blind."He sipped his coffee trying not to let his fatigue show.
We are 12 hours from the planet.I could use our Trans warp but I think it would be best to let the crew get some sleep and put our heads together and have a plan on this with what information we have."

Thomas was holding her hand, walking towards the sickbay, when he heard the comm. He looked over at her and nodded with a smile. “The sooner we get to talk to the Doctor, the sooner we find out.”, he replied as he walked into sickbay with her.
Thomas begins to look for the Doctor or any medical personal and would call out for anyone that is available. He would walk Kyah over to a biobed.

She smiles at him and hops up onto a biobed. She smirks at him and holds his hand until a doctor or nurse comes.

As the cup was offered she accepted it and looked into the cup. Her antennae moving, she raised the cup and blew over the surface and took a taste.
"Who near the colony stands the most to gain by causing a disruption or attacking? The facility itself would attract many to the colony. Even if its purpose was unknown."
"How many times has the Federation or any member world of the alliance not gone to check out such a facility?"
"I agree we need to have a game plan in place before we arrive."

"The colony is close to the Orions Jaylas and we both know that they have been privateers most of the time and that makes them my prime suspect."
He stood and got another cup of coffee offering her a cup as well."Thats why I think we will get just close enough to Proximus IV for our sensors to try and find out about the Stalingrad as well as the colony."
"We need more information Jaylas period.I will not send this ship in blind and deaf unless I absolutely have too."He sat back down sipping his coffee pulling up a hologram of the planet.

She had only a few hours of sleep when she heard the chirp on her COMM.The Colonel's announcement was made.Still groggy climbing out of bed and taking a hot shower.
Quickly she put her hair up and slipped into a fresh Uniform.Riding the TL to sickbay she tried to suppress a yawn. Stepping off the TL she headed into sick bay to get her PADD for the meeting.
Looking up she saw Kyah and Thomas standing there.Smiling,"What can I do for you this morning."

Morgan was doing her morning run when she heard the Colonel.She jogged back to her quarters for a quick shower and a fresh uniform.
Grabbing her PADD she grabbed a bite to eat and headed for the Bridge.As she stepped off the TL she saw the duty Officer.He informed her the Colonel was in the Ready Room with the XO.
She nodded firmly and waited outside until they were ready for the meeting.

Thomas placed his hand on Kyah’s shoulder, looking at her with a smile at the same time when the Doctor came in Sickbay. He looked up over at the Doctor as she came over.
“Hello, Doctor. We came by sickbay because Kyah needed an appointment or should I say a check up.”, he replied to her.
“We have ran some scans with a personal tricorder and found something that would give us new names.”, he continued to say to the Doctor, all the while looking at Kyah with a smile. One of his hand touched Kyah’s stomach and then he turned to look at the Doctor.
“Plus, both of us have been experiencing nausea in the mornings.”, he also added.

Justin was already up and at his desk when he heard Colonel Allen’s message about a meeting. He finished drinking the last few sips of his coffee as he gotten up from his desk. He walked over to the replicator and recycles the empty cup. He walked back to his desk and picked up the few engineering PADDs off of his desk. Since he there is some time before the meeting, he decided to run by engineering real quick for any engineering updates.
Justin walked out of his quarters and down the corridors, heading towards the turbo lift. “Engineering.”, he would say, going over some reports on a PADD. The doors to the turbo lift closed and ascended to the engineering deck. Only a few short seconds, the turbo lift stopped and the door opened. He stepped out of the turbo lift, down the corridor, and into main engineering. He would talk to the engineering officer that took the late shift, getting an engineering update. He gave him a nod and turned to heads out of engineering.
Justin made his way back to the turbo lift, entered and gave a command to head towards the bridge. He looked over some new updated engineering data as he awaits for the turbo lift to stop. Once the turbo lift comes to a slowly stop, he exited the turbo lift and stepped onto the bridge. He looked up and over to where the Colonel’s Ready Room was at and already saw that someone beat him there.
Justin walked up over to Lt Conner, giving her a nod as he stopped in front of the Ready Room. “Morning, Lt Conner. I see that you have beat me here. I must be getting old.”, he replied with a smirk.

Kyah smiles at the doctor when she enters sickbay. She was glad they finally had a chance to come to sickbay before everything got really busy again. They had the meeting in a while, but Kyah wasn't sure if she was needed there or not. She was scheduled for bridge duty for awhile, so she knew she should probably be there.
She lets Thomas explain why they had come after the doctor inquires. "I've been trying everything I could think of to get rid of the morning sickness, but I think I need to resort to some sort of medicine." She continues after Thomas with a smile. "Why would Thomas be getting nauseous anyway?" She perks an eyebrow and gets ready to submit to whatever poking and prodding the doctor felt was necessary.

Nodding she picked up her medical TriCorder and ran it over Kyah's abdominal area.She checked her readings twice."Well congratulations you two.You will be parents in a little less than nine months."
She ran her TriCorder over Thomas as well."Thomas I can find nothing that would make you sick except perhaps what we call sympathy sickness."
"It is where you feel a strong bond with Kyah and your body reacts with hers.Kyah I want you to try and eat e bland diet in the mornings first.If that does not help then I can give you something for the nausea."
"Thomas just keep focused and hang in there.These sympathy feelings usually pass.I need to get to that meeting.Kyah I will see you in one week understood?"
She grabbed her PADD and headed for the Bridge."Congratulations you two sorry I have to run."
