'Hmm, but the deaths don't seem to be related to the accidents, per se. Now, the illnesses seem to share common and unfortunately not very unique symptoms. Migraines, colds, and cramping. Keep in mind, the colony is primarily Terrans, while the research facility is primarily Vulcans. Yet all are being affected. There are reports supplied by the Major. Each individual affected needs to have their medical background scrutinized. If nothing unusual shows up there, we can broaden the parameter. Something, hopefully, links these individuals.' As he spoke, he looked between them, making sure they were clear on the situation. 'Any questions?'

She looks around at all the weapons and thinks to herself this will take a long time. she begins to log them in on her PADD.
Weapons inventory
75 Type II hand phasers
80 Type III: Phaser Rifles
80 Type IV: Compression Rifles
25 TR-116 Sniping Rifles
30 cases of grenades different types

Thomas finally finished drinking some water, letting the other Marines catch their breaths from their daily exercises. He wondered how long the meeting will last. He heard the doors opened as someone came into the armory. He turned to see that it was one of the security officers. Perhaps she knows what is happening. He walks up to 2 Lt Vash and saluted her, considering that she is higher rank than him.
“Pardon me, Ma’am. Were you at the meeting? If so, perhaps you could tell me what’s happening.”, he said to her.
He noticed that she was checking the inventory on the weapons. He picked up the PADD of weapons inventory that he done earlier. Of course, there was always a good reason for check the inventory twice.
“And perhaps this would help you along with the inventory, Ma’am.”, he said to her as he handed her the PADD.

Jerhid regarded McFerrin speculatively for a moment, finger tapping idly against his chin. 'If you were in charge, McFerrin, where would you begin?' He felt this kid had alot of spunk and he wanted to see some of the fire he knew was in him. He slid a glance to Ensign Kaz. He'd be asking her the same question and suspected she would figure that out and begin formulating ideas before he asked, if she hadnt already.

Kasia sees the glance and knows exactly what it means she looks to McFerrin wondering what answers he would come up with. She had been formulating ideas on how a civilization that lived in a biosphere could be contaminated when they were mostly self sustaining.

While McFerrin considered, he kept his gaze on Ensign Kaz, noting the expressions that chased across her face. 'If you have anything to insert that would be helpful, Nurse Kaz, Id very much be wanting to hear it,' he spoke quietly, inviting her thoughts.

She Looked up from her PADD and returned his salute. As you were. Yes I was at the meeting. Its not standard operating procedure for me to tell you what is happening, that is for your CO to do. She took the PADD from him. Thank you this will help a lot. She looked at the Corporal and knew how it was to be left in the dark about a mission. She did not like being left in the dark.
About your question like I said it's not SOP, So I can't tell you we are heading to Proxminus IV where there is a mining and research facility, there is the abnormal amount of accidents and a few deaths at both facilities. Also I can't tell you there have been power fluctuations, missing ore, delays in research caused by computer error, a few citizens of the colony are missing.
I also could not tell you to get ready for a shuttle or beam in incursion. But I can tell you if you go Scuttlebutt ((gossip)) this around you will find your self in the brig. Are we clear Mr...? She grins as she waits for his reply.

Thomas listened to 2Lt Saris about the mission that they are on and other details which including some standard operating procedures. He smirked as she warned him if he goes and tells the other marines.
“I am sorry, Ma‘am, but I did not hear what you say from the time you took the PADD to now.”, he replied to her.
Thomas was letting her know that, even though he heard her what was happening and what will take place, that he is not going to gossip about the mission. Once the Marine Commanding Officer returns, he knew that they will have more information and debriefed.

Kyah nods to Ensign Khellen when he says he's ready. "Ok, I have the science sensors all calibrated for compositional information and anomolies... I'm thinking that the ops sensors will be able to pick up the trails and such that the Major is asking for us to find. If we tie in navigational sensors, we'll be able to get a better overall map" She taps on her console, preparing but unsure of where to start. "Do you have a good scanning pattern to suggest?" She looks at him questioningly.

well sir the first thing i would do is find a common link there must have been something that all the colonists and the researchers came intocontact with eat or drank in my honest opinion sir that would the fist step in our investigation them find out what caused the illness quarinteen the area and analyze the the said area or mineral or object cross scan it through our database to find a cure and dispurse it among the colony thats what i would do sir if i was in charge

"This is for both of you. I want all your thoughts. There is no wrong or right answers, only ideas to be explored and scenerios to contemplate."

Since the illnesses are varied, I'm guessing its some type of air contaminant, that can affect everyone. Theyre are several types of contaminants that can be dispersed through the air. Since they live in a biosphere the contaminants wouldnt disperse very much, whose ever attacking them would only need a small amount. An amount that perhaps wouldnt be picked up by any authorities, they would just dismiss it as something for their ship. Many contaminants also have some good properties when it comes to cleaning...especially in engineering." She finishes giving her opinion on what had happend.

that may be true sir but the contaminants may not be detectable by their scanners the enemy may be using forien components that may not be traceable if thats the case sir we need to calibrate the scanners to pick up all traces not native to the bioshpere atmosphere it may take longer but it may give us the edge we need in our mission sir

She smiled as she looked at the PADD Kinsely gave her. Then I guess I did not say anything. Still looking at the PADD I am 2 Lt Vash Sairs I am Major Aniri Assistant, if you were wondering. How long ago did you take this inventory and by who's order?
