Jay stood up and then placed her cup in the reclaimer. She hadn't finished it yet. She never experienced Terran coffee and wanted to see how her body would react.
"Thank you sir." She turned and walked out going to her console. As she passed the waiting officers she nodded as she had seen Terran's do so many times.
Once at her console she logged on and began her daily routine. She checked the daily roster, and then the reports. Finally using her monitors she checked the various security locations, she noted one had a missing member. Then she saw him running up the corridor to his post.
She tapped her comm.
"Major Aniri here. Until further notice heightened awareness at your postings. Aniri out"
She then did a second check while the other officers gathered.

Justin smirked as Zarlena called the ship her baby. “You’re welcome, Ma’am, and this baby of mine will always be taken care of under the care of my own hands.”, he slightly chuckled as he responded. He would beg to differ of who’s baby this ship is.
He looked over at Kestra as she came on the bridge and gave her a nod. “Morning, Counselor.”, he responded to her. Before he could ask how she was doing, Justin would hear Major Aniri walk onto the bridge and gave an order. He perked an eyebrow, knowing that there was a hidden situation behind that order. He has been a Marine for way too long to know that something is not right.
Justin taps on his commbadge and relayed a message to his engineering officers in Main Engineering to heighten their awareness in everything.

“I will try to, but it would be awful hard without you.”, Thomas replied with a smile as he exited. He quickly makes his way down the corridor, towards the turbo lift, skidding into the turbo lift. “Marine Armory.”, he quickly replied. The turbo lift begins to descend towards the Marine Armory deck.
After the turbo lift stopped, Thomas walked out of the turbo lift and down the corridor. He makes his way into the Marine Armory and over to his locker. As always his daily ritual, he would check his gears that were in his locker and his weapons that were assigned to him, making sure that each one was ready for usage.

Kestra smiled over at Justin as he replied back to her, smiling at the inside joke between Zarlena and Justin. It always made her pleased to see such amusing ways of how each crewmembers joke among each other. She turned and also looked over at Major Aniri as she walked out of the Ready Room. She could sense that something was more at play. She did not pressure to find out, especially since it is against Betaziod’s rules to force telepathic on someone. Plus, she will find out at the meeting of what will take place on their first real mission on this ship.
Kestra was not worried that the crew can not handle this mission, but was worried that something more sinister was about to happen. She never did like this kind of feeling at all and would slightly shiver a bit.

She walked too the Tl and asked for the Bridge.She waited for it to stop and the doors open.She could see much of the station Officers were already there.
Smiling,"Good morning everyone I see we are not ready for the meeting."She looked at everyone smiling.

Kol'Rah walked onto the marine barracks and training area.He had orders from Lt. Conner to work with Corporal Kinsley and get the marines in standby alert.
Walking to the Barracks in full battle gear he began to bark out orders for the other marines to do the same.His hearts were pounding his blood pumping through his veins.He was glad to be on alert.
Perhaps this was the time he could test his mettle in combat.Blade to blade flesh to flesh bone to bone.

She finished her work at her console, then looked at the time. She tapped on her comm.
"LT Saris this is Major Aniri. Report to the bridge main security station."

She woke up late and jumped out of bed and ran for the shower cursing, she forgot to set her alarm plus being on a ship threw her off. she jumped in and out of the shower in 5 minutes and put on her uniform, just then the major page her. Yes Ma'am on my way. She thought to her self get V real smooth. she tied her hair back and was out the door and on her way to the bridge. She hopped on a turbo lift and was on her way. Great second day on this ship and I'm going to get chewed out.
The Lift stopped at the bridge and she stepped off the Turbo lift and walked on the bridge and headed over to the Major seeing she did not look to happy, She saluted her. Lt Saris reporting Ma'am....

She looked at the LT.
"At ease Lt. There is a meeting of the senior staff. I want you to cover my console. Alert me to anything of any importance. Continue monitoring for now."
She stepped to the side to give her access to the console so she could log on.
"Any questions Lt. And I have security on heighten awareness."

Akoval was sitting in Major Iridanis and himselves shared quarters playing a music and singing to himself when the all hands on deck call went out for the mission. standing quickly replicating more water in a small Thermal container for this time and checking out a new cooled suit with a more accomidating helmet from supply entering the fighter bay quickly. Akoval motioned a quick nod towards Roberts his commanding officer as he aaccessed the technical data and repair reports on the fighters in his wing. "How are you this afternoon Lt Rober..I mean Kelly anything exciting yet?"

Jay turned and walked to the RR, she nodded at the other officers as she rang the chime and then walked in.
"I know, I'm a few minutes early Sir. But I wasn't sure if there was anything we needed do go over before the meeting."

Kyah heard the orders for heightened awareness and she wondered what the heck she was getting herself into by having bridge duty. She'd rather be a lab monkey... at least there were chemicals to play with in the lab to keep one's mind off trouble. She recalibrates the sensors and she keeps her attention on the display, looking for any changes in what was going on outside.

Kasia hears the com for all department heads to report to the bridge. As head nurse she was required to attend. She headed first to Sickbay to check on the previous nights activity from the nurses. She then heads to the bridge. She sees Kyah and gives her a nodd for a hello. She sees Major Aniri enter the Col's office. She decides to go stand by Vash. "Im guessing the meeting hasnt started yet then?"

matthew notices an ensign walk in he walks out amd motions him over. well ensign what happen to day" the ensign replies "well sir i wastraining in the gym and i felt something pull in my arm" mattgrabs a tricorder and runs a scan and smiles. "yep you tore a muscle not to worry ill have it fixed in no time flat" grabs a dermal regenerator and applies it over the torn muscle area. "there all fixed if its bothers you again in the mornin come see me" the ensign smiles and walks out matt goes back and files the report.
