"Yes this would be of interest to the Oriens. Maybe not to use but as a new item on the black market for arms dealing. Has a connection to the Ferengi been considered? They have a large share in arms dealings?"
"Additionally have we considered those who are against the newly forming alliance with the Romulans? Those with a vested interest in seeing this fall apart?"
"May I suggest we devise a way to get some Intel. Perhaps an away team? Also we could use a fighter that lacks Federation makings for one that is say more neutral and have some recon missions done?"
She paused and took another sip of Terran coffee.

She smiles. "Thank you doctor. I'll try that. See you in a week." She makes the mental note to make sure she always had a good breakfast. She had been eating more healthy since she found out, but she sometimes didn't have time to be particularly healthy in the mornings when she felt sick and was in a hurry to get to her shift.
She looks to Thomas as the doctor goes to another appointment and she smiles at him. "Sympathy, huh? You're awfully sweet to be sympathetic to the point of nausea, but it's not necessary querido." She gets off the biobed. "Let's grab a bite really quick at the nearest food replicator. Then I think I have to go to that meeting, because I have bridge duty scheduled and the colonel asked for station officers." She checks the time.

"I always look toward the Ferrangi in these types of situations.Of course they will pay for someone else to get their hands dirty.Jaylas I could not agree with you more about factions trying to break up the Alliance."
Placing his coffee on the table,"That sounds like a good plan lets get an unmarked fighter out there doing recon only. When they have some intel for us then we can go with an away team."
Looking at the time,"Well the meeting will start shortly and we have the foundation in place when everyone arrives at least."

Zarlena dropped the pendant and then entered the bridge. It was still early before Alpha shift started. She walked the short distance to the helm station.
"Sgt Morris, report in."
Zar listened as he gave her his verbal report.
"Sgt Morris you can leave a little early."
She took the helm and entered her access code. She checked the readings on her console. Then the stress factor of the engines since this was the first prolonged run at this speed. Finally she did a quick diagnostic and visual assessment after checking her monitors and view screen.
She finally sat back, but you could see she was considering all factors. She tapped her comm.
"Kinsley, whats the status on the warp engines? I have green want to check my readings. Alert me if you find anything."

Kelly waited for the TL to stop and the doors to open.He exited and saw Beta shift still on the Bridge. That is except Zar and Morgan.
Zar was at the Helm she was very much into her work.He asked as Sergeant where the Colonel was.He was informed that the Colonel was in the Ready Room with the XO and they would be having the meeting shortly.
He tapped his Comm Badge and checked in with the fighter squadrons.Everything was in place in case a launch was needed. He leaned against the wall whistling softly. It was his way to deal with nerves that tended to come in such situations.

"I fully agree the best course of action is total recon. That is one thing Warrior races have always known and adhered to. The best way I can explain it, On Andor we have furious ice and snow storms. When we travel we note the sky, wind, pressure, heat or lack of heat readings. To avoid one of these storms catching us unaware. To head in with no or little knowledge is the same. Certain damage and perhaps death."
"Warrior races at first seem slow to respond, but activity level underneath is at a fever pitch. Then when action takes place it is swift and certain."
"Our base is well formed for now. With your permission I would like to go to my security console. I have things to prepare."

When she began her comm to Kinsley she smiled as she sensed Kelly entering the bridge. Sitting back and waiting for Kinsley to answer her she reached out and allowed her mind to briefly for a few seconds to touch his.
She didn't turn around or acknowledge him in any other way. It was time to work. She has a strong work ethnic and would not use this time for such things.

Kestra finished going over her reports when she heard the message from Colonel Allen. She took her feet out underneath her and stood up from her desk, taking the cup of coffee and PADDs with her as she exited her quarters. Upon seeing that she had enough time before the meetings starts, she thought that she could make some rounds, checking on a few NPC crewmembers. Once done, she made her way to the bridge.
The turbo lift comes to a halt and she steps out onto the bridge. She saw most of the crewmembers there and smiled at them. “Morning everyone.”, she would say as she walked over to where everyone was gathered.

As he waited for the meeting to start he felt just for a second Zar's mind for a lack of better words touch is.It was only for a second but somehow his nerves calmed down.
He smiled not bothering her and waited for the meeting to start. He could tell from the Bridge activity this was important and they were defiantly no longer headed for Star Base.

Justin was talking with Lt Conner when some of the crewmembers were walking onto the bridge. After a short time, he would hear MCpt Dorius send him a message through the badge. He would look over at her before giving her report.
“I have checked them before coming on the bridge, along with the Delta shift engineer officer of last night reports. The engines were green when I last checked them a few moments ago.”, he replied to her.
Justin may not be a telepathic or an empathic, but he could tell that her mind was set on her duties, a great quality in a Marine. Something he always admired in every Marine he has encountered.

She heard him answer her. Without realizing it she hadn't felt him enter the bridge. She smiled to herself, Zar this level of concentration is not needed now.
She turned and faced him.
"Thank you Lt Kinsely. She's never held this speed for so long before just making sure my baby is ok."
She smiled at the inside joke. Both engineers and helms persons considered the ship *their* baby. She also knew there would be quick witted response.

"Of course I know you are needed at Security you are dismissed."He sipped his coffee bringing up a picture of Proximus IV on the holo viewer his mind going over all the scenarios.

Thomas thanked the Doctor before she left and then would turn to look at Kyah. He would smile at Kyah and held out his hand to her when she gotten off the biobed. “It just to show you of how much I care about you.”, he slightly brushed his thumb, from his other hand, on her cheek.
Thomas would walk with her towards the nearest replicator. “As always with my schedule, I will be in the Marine Armory. Knowing Sgt Kol’rah, he will have me kept busy until then.”, he would continue with a smirk. He would get something for the both of them from the replicator and would hand Kyah’s food to her.
Once he began eating his food, he looked at the time and noticed that it was closer to what he thought for his duty shift. “Where did the time go?”, he said after taking a few bites from his breakfast.
Thomas looked over at Kyah and gave her a kiss. “I will see you after the shift, amor.”

She eats with him but when he has to go, she realizes it's time to go as well. She kisses him back. "Have fun on duty querido." She smiles at him before she goes and heads to the bridge. She pulls her hair back into a bun during the turbolift ride and arrives on the bridge with a smile and ready for her shift. She walks over to the science station and relieves the NPC stationed there. She logs in to the station and checks all scanners while she's waiting for the meeting to begin.
