Shakedown

'Thank you Sir, I will miss the ship and the friends I was beginning to make. May I have your permission to depart, Sir?' Looking one last time around the busy bridge, knowing someday he'd be back in space, but now his career would be better with the Academy on his resume'.

He nodded,"Permission granted Ensign and GOD Speed.just make sure you teach those cadets well."

He gave him a salute and dropped it."Good luck Ensign I am sure you will do well."

::Aztec turns and enters the TL::

[1st Lt Kestra Elbrun]

Kestra decided to head over to the bridge as she walked down the corridor and into the TL. She stood in the TL as it moved up towards the bridge. The TL stopped and the doors opened for her before she walked out onto the bridge. She over heard a conversation as she gotten out of the turbo lift. Kestra has not fully gotten a chance to know about Aztec, but knew that she will miss in knowing him. She walked up to Colonel Allen and saluted him before she spoke.

“Hello, sir. I see that a crewmember has been transferred off.”, she said to him.

Kestra walked over to her chair and sat down in it as she waited for his reply. She will always miss any crewmembers that transfers off of the ship.

:: The turbo lift opens and the entire bridge crew looks startled. A tall, distinquished Romulan officer slightly bows and moves slowly towards the command chair and salutes :: "Erein (Ensign) Maec Khellian reporting for duty , hand his PADD to the officer in the chair. I am part of the Federation officer exchange program."

Thomas looked up and saw a tall Romulan enter the Bridge.He saluted him back and listened to him as he read his PADD.

He was glad they had a Romulan on board even for a short time on the Tarawa.

"Jolan'tru Ensign Maec Khellian.You are my OPS Officer.We go on Alpha shift in the morning.Our current mission is a shakedown cruise since the Tarawa is a new ship."

"A shakedown consists of several different scenarios to check the performance of the ship and its crew."

"I am sure you want to get acquainted with your quarters and your station."

He smiled, "Welcome aboard Ensign."

'Jolan'tru to you also , Col. Allen. May the Elements watch over the crew and bring us many glorious missions together. I wuld more then pleased to take over the operations station. With your permission I will locate my quarters and come back to the bridge and get familiar with my position."

He nodded ,"Permission granted Ensign Khellian.And yes may we have many great missions together as a crew."

He let the Ensign go find his quarters wondering to himself what in the blazes are the elements?

::Bowing slightly:: By your leave then , Sir. ::Maec turns and heads towards the TL and heads for his quarters::

“That does sound great idea to consider. We can finish discussing it later on. I do not want Lt Conner think that I make a bad habit of showing up late.”, Thomas replied to her with a smile. He gave her another kiss before they departed their ways to their duty shift.

Thomas made his way down the corridor, towards where the Marine Armor/Weapon/Training Area is located. He entered into the Marine Armor and begins to check his standard issued equipment that was in his locker. After making sure that each one was working properly, he checked the weapons in the weapon locker. He was yet to be surprised that he was the first one there.

Thomas has a been in more of a happier mood in the past week or so. It would not take anyone to know why he was in such a good mood.

Kyah kisses him back and leaves, heading for the TL. She enters the bridge a few moments later and reports in with a salute, then takes the science station, relieving the night shift watchman. She nods at the others on the bridge and then checks up on scans that were taking during the night and the probe's progress.

[1st Lt Kestra Elbrun]

As Kestra was talking to Colonel Allen, a Romulan officer walked onto the bridge and introduced himself to Colonel Allen. Kestra gave a smile and a small nod towards the new Operation Officer before he left the bridge. She turned to look back at Allen and noticed that he was quite busy with his reports. She quietly looked around the bridge before standing up to stretch her legs a bit.

Although it was a bit quiet and almost scarce on the bridge at the time being, Kestra thought she could remain on the bridge for a little while. She hears the TL doors opened with its familiar hiss and noticed that 2Lt Kyah Richardson walking onto the bridge.

“Hello, Kyah, how are you doing this morning?”, Kestra asked her as she walked over to where Kyah was standing. She noticed a ring on her hand that she has not noticed before previously. Kestra could already guess why she was wearing a ring, but it did not hurt to ask.

“I just have to ask, where did you get that ring?”, Kestra asked her with a smile, watching her reaction.

::he returns to sickbay and logs in for his double shift he liked to work long hours that way the chief medical oficer didnt have to have a serious work load he begins to read the shift reports for the last 2 shifts::

Kasia enters sickbay looking at a few padds from the day before, she looks around and sees that Matthew was already there, he must have come in early for a double shift. She smiles at him as she goes to her own office to look at nursing reports from the previous nights shift. She also had a shift report on her desk from the doctors the same as Matthew had. She gets a Mocha Cappachino from the replicator and sits down at her desk beginning to read.

Chuck entered the bridge just in time to see Kyah showing her new ring to Kestra. "Congratulations are in order I understand Kyah!" "Good Morning Kestra! I hope you had a very nice evening. Should be an interesting day."
