Brisaer u' lohia hvi (Holo Deck)

The translation for this area is very loose. It is a holodeck but it translates roughly to game and practice deck.

Politely apologizing to Zandile for taking her to a work-related place when she wanted to relax. He escorted her from Security to the Brisaer u' lohia hvi ( Holodeck ). He waits for her to step in and the steps in behind her. He then moves to the right of her so that he isnt crowding her and then looks around the Brisaer u' lohia hvi for the first time he has been on the Divael

He nodded approvingly thinking of whatb programs he can program into the computer and the exercises that can be held here. After a few moments, he turned to Zandile

"This is the Brisaer u' lohia hvi, the game and practice deck or as you had said: the Holodeck. This is where we Rhiannsu'-a ( romulans ) come to when we are not on duty. For me, this is my first time here. Is there a specific game or program you wish to view or play?"

He watches her reactions, facial and body language and waited for a response

She enters the holodeck with him. When he describes the place and asks her if she wants to do something, she can't think of anything. She didn't have a home that it would even be in their database to see.

She looks at him. "Perhaps one of the sports Romulans play?"

He looked a little confused at her question

"Sports? I am not sure of what you mean"

He tried to guess at what she meant

"You mean, recreational games. I am not familiar with many games as I did not play with many people when i was growing up. I pretty much stayed to myself".

He would half turn to the computer interphase, speaking to it

"Computer, display any information on Rhiannsu sports. recreational games"

He waited for a response for the computer and his companion

"Oh... that's ok then... never mind... let's go somewhere else instead."

She had just wanted him to talk to her about something, anything... The holodeck wasn't the best place for a conversation when no one knew what program to start, and she wanted to see more of the ship.

"Oh... that's ok then... never mind... let's go somewhere else instead", he heard her say and he gave a nod.

"Do you have a specific location you would like to go", he would ask

Before she could respond, an image came up on the monitor, from his inquiry about sports. It showed images of two people on opposite side of a net-like structure. As he looked closer, the two were hitting a ball back and forth with something he couldnt identify. They were also running around, trying to position the ball were the other couldnt return it.

He raises a brow slightly and muttered, "intriguing"

He heard the Holodeck doors open and he turned his eyes to see one of the Alpha shift uhlan'-a ( junior officers ) come in. He arched a brow thinking that he should be on duty, not in here.

The uhlan turned and saw him and Zandile standing there and he stpped in his tracks, saluting him, saying "Rekkai ( sir ), I did not see you there. My apologies to you and your companion. I just come off shift and thought I would relax here. I will leave you two be"

Terrh Shook head head, speaking to the uhlan "No need. If you are coming from your shift, then it must be time for my shift to begin." He frowns as this revelation hits home, then he turns to Zandile. "I must apologize, Zandile, to cut this tour short. I would like to accompany you to the Transporter Room and see you off to your ship?"

He starts walking out to the Holodeck with the secuity chief at his side. The uhlan steps aside to let them pass

She looks downcast to have to cut the tour short. She follows him out of the holodeck however, to the Transporter Room.

"Thank you for the company. Perhaps we can finish the tour later. I will bring a holoprogram of Earth and some other things to do that you might like. Call me." She smiles at him, gives him a quick hug and is transported back to her own ship.

As he walked with Zandile to the transporter, he waited until he was out of hearing distance of the uhlan ( jr officer ), taking notice of the down-cast look on her lovely facial features. He frowned himself, hating to see her look so sad. He attempted to cheer her up by saying,

"I enjoyed the time that we shared talking during dinner and during the tour. I look forward to sharing your company again. You are a beautiful companion for anyone to have."

Entering the Transporter room, he saw her smile once again, thus causing him to smile as well. She surprised him with the quick hug and during the brief contact, he felt how warm she was to the touch. He smiled wider at that then saw her step onto the TR platform, hearing her say that she would bring a hologram of earth and some other things. As she faded away, he said, "I'll contact you at my earliest conveniance", noticing that she was gone before he could finish the sentence.

He was still wearing his smile when he turned to leave the TR when he noticed the transporter chief;s expression. He was smiling a little himself. Terrh's smile disappeared from his lips and his cold demeanor returned. He said to the chief, "Back to work, hru' ( chief )
"le, rekkai", ( yes, sir ) was the chief's reply

Turning and exiting the Transporter room, he made his way to the bridge

She reached the holodeck and looked at the technician.

"All the programs have been added as I requested and exactly as requested?"

"Le, Rekkhai, it was interesting compared to the ones we have."

"I am not surprised. Now I will check randomly a few of them to make sure they are correct, that not you nor I erred. Come with me."

Having seen parts of the program she was not looking forward to accompanying the Captain. "As you wish Rekkhai"

"Computer, program Kor 1A"

The technician looked at her wishing she was not there when the Captain arrived.

The control panel flashed a few times showing that it was working on the program. Then the doors hissed open. As they walked in a blast of frigid air hit them. She took off the thermo coats found on a hook near the door, made of material developed on her world to battle the extreme temperatures. She looked around and took a deep breath enjoying the cold crisp air.

They began to walk and her head tilted, her eyes downcast. She walked briskly more secure on the snow and ice then the tech was. She slowed her pace to allow the tech to catch up.

They entered an ice cave, she turned and looked out.



A look of contentment and ease crossed her face. "Excellent, now which one will I test next?."

The technician with her was cold and trying not to show it.

"Computer switch to Kor 4b The passage to the Northern Ground Forces facility"

There was a hum as the computer switched programs and displayed the one requested. The Technician was visably uncomfortable, but Kor was intent on the surroundings or she have caught a rare look into the Rihannsu character.

She found herself in front of the Brisaer u'lohia hvi. She went to door of rhe hwi (room one) and entered her access code. Normally this was used for drills or practice of ones skills but for her what she needed was a place to calm down. Without distractions or someone entering, or being there.

She entered the main Park in the capital found a quiet place by the lake. Then sitting down she watched the scene before her. There were children at play, families and couples walking and spending a pleasant day together.

Here for a brief time she was home and not in the vacuum of space or its cold.

She heard the computer warn her that the program would be ending, she stood thinking all to soon it ends. She walks out of the holodeck going to the lounge.
