Second Officer's Log. SD:64250.93 ,
My transfer from Star-base 621 has been successful. I must admit that I was a little leery of coming into Romulan Space for my new assignment. Perhaps the familiar surroundings of a Federation ship, or the unexpected kindness shown from the CO of the New York,Riov Eviess Radaik, has made the transition easier. I am not sure at this point, but I am confident that I will soon mesh with the rest of the crew, and become an asset to this ship.
I went to the Chief of Security's Office, and activated my access codes. Lt. Rey-Baccus wasn't there, but one of her assistants were, and I was assured that everything was set.
After activating my access codes, I went to the quarter-master, and received my quarters. I was informed that if I needed anything that I could ask her and she'd help me to the best of her ability.
I left the quartermaster, and went to my quarters. Once inside, I activated the desk-console, and entered my access codes. Apparently the security assistant had done his job, because my codes are working, and I am doing this log.
