Captain Sowren had saw it befitting to promote me to Lieutenant Commander and at the position Executive Officer. Since there isn't anyone to take my place at helm for the moment, I'll also take helm until a replacement had arrived for helm.

We were given a distress call from USS Alliance. That they were being attacked. When we have arrived there, the ship had already self destructed and the crew were in the escape pods. They were immediately beamed aboard. There seemed to be some Klingon ship nearby that had attacked USS Alliance. It is highly illogical that Klingons would attack a Federation ship. Especially in Federation territory. Klingons hold too much honor to threaten an alliance between them and the Federation to attack a Federation ship. It is more logical that another species had taken over the Klingon ship and used it to attack USS Alliance.

Soon, we will head to one of the nearest Starbases and continue with the investigation.

We were on our way to wards our coordinates when some Cardassian ships,who were located on the other side of one planet, begun to attack us. But they were eventually destroyed. The crew did very well in their accomplishment in destroying them. Few minor damages and injured were reported.

Begin Log.....

It appears that some Orion pirates have decided to stole some Federation technology and sell them for profit to the Founders. We are in the Ventri System. Just outside of the Ferengi space. Once we have arrived to our designation, we were met with 3 Orion fighters, which includes an Orion Battle Cruiser. Our shields have went down to 75% and with some mild damages before we were able to get the technology back. Suffice to say that Orion fighters have gotten more of the damage than we did.

Lt Cmdr T'Lar walked over to her desk and tapped on the console as she sat down.

"Computer, begin log."

The computer begins to record.

"Since a Terran custom called New Year's was comming up soon, I thought it would been logical to hold a party for the crewmembers. Although I wasn't accutom to such indulgence, I had let the crewmembers talk amoungst themselves and socialize. The crewmembers seemed to be uplifting from the party.

Although I see such emotions as illogical and do no see why they are needed. One person can be overwhelmed with emotions to where he or she can't even think logically.

We well continue on with our mission as soon as these Terran holidays had pasted by. Computer, End Log."

The computer ends the log as Lt. Cmdr T'Lar goes over to another room in her quarters and begins to meditate. Reciting a few Vulcan passages.

After some time had passed, Lt. Cmdr T'Lar had gotten up and walked out of her quarters. Making her way to the Ten Forward Lounge.

We were about 45 minutes out when 3 ships, two Cardassian ships and one Breen ship, had came on sensors. One of the Cardiassian Commanding Officer from one of the two Cardassian ships had hailed us and demanded to have the orb. Captain Sowren refused to hand the orb over to them.

To my knowledge, there isn't any logical reasons why they would want the orb. There has to be some logical explaination of why they would want the orb. This is something that requires further investigation of which I will take head of the investigation.

After exchanging heavy fire, one ship was destroyed, while two of them retreated. Who is to say that they wouldn't try to come back and try to get the orb again?

Or next mission, now, is to make sure that the orb is placed in the Bajoran temple. Where it should logically be placed at.

Begin Log.......

On our way of to get the ship repaired, the CENG reported that there seems to be a problem with holosuite one. He wasn't able to shut it off through the bypass. Even the Engineering teams weren't able to shut it off manually. Lt JG Darius Larson had found out there seems to be a program that has been running 7 hours straight.

As the CENG tried to over load the gelpacks, we were beamed over into the holosuite in what appears to be the year in 1930s in a town called Las Vegas.

Engineering would have the task of trying to see if they could over ride the gelpacks. The CENG even tried to fire at the gel pack, but with no affects.

It seems like that some of them had went off and took a look around before I could pick someone to be on my team.

Begin Log

There is a logical possiblity that the Gangsters of the 1930s Earth had possiblity had killed one of the crewmembers. What had me came to that conclusion was when I have passed by one of the rooms that they were in, they had talked about money laundering, scaming the casino and taking care of annoying Detective named "Johnson".

I had reported this to Captain Sowren of what I had over heard. It would logically makes sense that the holodeck program was rigid to where the safety protocals were off.

Once we had re entered where the games were located at, Captain Sowren would wanted us to find a wall from our technology. I have noticed a wall behind where the Cashiers were located at and noticed that the wall was there.

I would make my way over to the Cashier area and pretented to be one of the Cashiers. As I was looking for the wall, one of the managers had me to count the money since that he assumed that I was new there. I had casually make myself look like that I had worked there while I was looking at the wall for anything out of the ordinary.

It would be appear that there was a door behind the wall. I had looked over to Captain Sowren and gave a gester that there was something behind the wall. Cadet Richard Peters, the new AENG, had also noticed that I had found something and came over to where I was at. While he looked over at the door, I made sure that no one was noticing.

Computer Begin Log .......... >

Cadet Peters seems to find something behind the door and wanted the CENG to come over. I had motion 1st Lt. Byrans over to check it out. While they were checking the door out, one of the managers noticed them and had came over. Once the Manager had asked what was going on, I have proceeded to answer. But by this time, 1sLt Bryans had made move that I found that would be illogical to the situation at hand.

The manager had escorted 1st Lt Bryans away and into an office. As I was giving Cadet Peters an order to continue on, he had walked away and followed where the CENG is at. As if he didn't hear me giving him an order.

I ended up working on the door to find out that there was a second door behind it. Behind the second door, there was a power grid, in which I have scanned with the tricorder. The readings from the tricoder reports that the hologrid was slightly altered during the last refit by an unknown method. Once I have tried to reroute power, the holodeck flickered a bit. The CENG had told me to pull one of the cables to the relay. Which caused the eviromental controls to begin to shut down, along with a few other major systems. I quickly placed the cable back and pulled the blue cable out.

I had went to the panel to the holodeck and manually opened the door. First Lt. Bryans had went through the jeffery tubes to get to engineering. Once he was trying to get the holodeck offline, I proceeded to take the isolinear chips out to see if that would work. It looks like that 1Lt Bryans was able to fix the problem quickly.

Once the problem was fixed, we had quickly went to our stations.

Begin Log.........

Engineering had reported about the repairs and should be sending me a report of how and why the holodeck acted the way it did. It would be quite interesting what had caused the problem.

We have docked at the station for further repairs and Captain Sowren had us on much needed shoreleave. After what the crew have gone through, we all did need the shoreleave. There are some logical sense in shoreleaves. It can give a person time to meditate on personal issues.

Begin Log

After we have finished with repairs and 'rest', we are to make our way to a wormhole where a new speices are trying to make contact. These are the same ones from earlier that we didn't have a very fairable meeting with. The last time we have meet with them, most of the ship's energy supply was nearly depleted and the Captain, along with one of the previous XO's, was held up in the ready room by one of the leaders.

Since there was no one at tactical, I took it upon myself to take care of the station for now while Bond took care of the OPS and HELM. We worked together to see if we would pick up anything on sensors. Science was able to find out a few things from intel about this new species.

She was able to find out that they use phaser banks and do have tractors. Their torpedoes are comparable to Klingons. It also seems like that they are at developmental stages with the cloaking device. With OPS help, we looked to see if there were any ships near by that had cloaking device.

It didn't take me long to logically think that it would be better if we would be under a yellow alert and placed the ship under yellow alert.

Once we have gotten close enough to the wormhole, both OPS and I have picked up the ship on the senors.

Begin First Officer's Log.........

We had the opportunity to have first contact with an unknown alien species. It would seem like that they were interested in us like we were in them at first. But with our first attempt to communicate with them, it seemed that there were little to go by on to actually know what their intentions were.

What MCpt Kiara was able to pick up from them is that they wanted us to back off, in which we did. What was interesting was the little information that we have on them. The way that they their body structure was made. As if they had two hearts in them. The only other species that I know of that also has two hearts are Klingons.

Considering that they haven't tried to attack us, it would be more logical that they may not want to harm us. But it would not harm if we are on the cautious side as well.

Begin Log........

There has been some time that past when we have last spoken with the new aliens. During the progress of learning about them, it was found that they could be an off shoot of the Cardiassians or some how related to them.

While discussing of what any new information we may have about them, they have placed their weapons online. I have gave an order to go to red alert, giving the circumtances.

At first, I have came to two logical conclusions that they were either trying to learn about us in a friendly manner, or they may try to find a way to attack us. By their previous actions, it would be logically concluded that they may have intentions of attacking.

There has been an audio communication from them. It was mostly static, but what I can understand that they have intentions of war fare. Something to with an imperial ship.

MCpt Inid was able to get the translator running to where we would be able to understand why they are here. Come to find out that they were looking for a wanted citizen. It would be logical to let them know that we are here to help.

There has been some talk about using morse code to communicate with them, but the species may not know what a morse code is.

Captain Sowren had sent a hail to them to let them know that we mean no harm. The alien CO, General Grax, had responded in saying that we need to maintain our distance and asked what are intentions are in this sector.

MCpt Inid was able to come up with the race. They are the Annari from the Delta Quadrant. The General mentioined that they are self sufficent and well armed. He would rather for use to leave their system unless it is for importance trade. It would seem that they didn't know that they are in the Bajor sector and not in their territory.

There reasons for being here is because of a dispute over a thousand years ago about a trade route and a request had been made by his superiors to patrol the area.

Begin Executive Officer's Duty Logs..........

We are currently in talks with the alien species that are of reptilian origin. We will continue to try and make peace but will defend this area as we should see fit.

It would seem that the new aliens have grown quite silent over the past hour or so and have not answered any of our hails for the past half hour. I have to agree with some of the crew that they are up to something in which it could cause a war between them and us.

I would logically hope that there will be a peaceful solution between us, but considering how things were looking up, I do have my doubts that would happen. Some may think that having doubts are an emotions, but most of us Vulcans don't see it that way. Without doubts, we will not able to logically ask ourself logical questions on different situations.

The reptilian species did send us a message to get out of their way or die. I was placed at helm and began to run a series of evasive manuvers once the alien ship began to fire upon us while LtJr JDen began to fire on the weaknesses that is on the alien ship. Reports were made that we have gotten 4 minor hits and our shields were at 90% and droped to 70%, then to 54%, with the ventral shields down to 30%, weapons and engines are fine so far

There have been several hits to us that decks 14 through 16 were hit. The more hits we take, the more damages that we get. The FPCOs attack on the alien had only caused minimal damage to their ship and nothing more. With each attempt to make evasive manuvers, the more direct hits that we get.

The aliens had began to transport some crew off the Aryes and onto their ship. I have asked Ensign Peters to reroute more power to the shields in that way that there wouldn't be a way for them to transport more of our crew off of the Aryes. With their transporters up, it would be hard for us to transport them back onto the ship.

Targeting both their weapons and shields array would help tremendously in getting our crew back and also getting less hits from them. With the help of the crew working together, the alien ship's shields have went down to 70% and droping. When their shields are at a certain level, we will be able to get our crewmembers back on board the Aryes.

Begin Duty Log........

Several of us have brought up different ideas of how the aliens were able to get our crew. One of those ideas is that they could find out about our shield modulation or they could have some kind of technology that we do not know about.

Someone had suggested to withdrawal from the place, but this would be illogical because it would leave Bajor open for an attack. Since the aliens had taken our tactical officer, I was put at tactical for the time being.

Marine Captain Inid Kiara had searched for some weaknesses that is on the alien ship that I could fire upon. After several hits, their shields had went down tremendously.

After some time, Captain Sowren and Counselor Clara Marie was transported onto the alien ship and we have lost communications to the away team. The attempt to retrieve them had failed for the fact that the transporters had failed.

We will make sure that the transporters and the communications will work in order to get our crewmembers back.

Duty Log

Begin Log.........

The USS Frontier had arrived just in time to be able to save Captain Hunter-Sowren, Counselor Marie and the rest of the Aryes' crewmembers from the alien ship. Shields are currently being repaired and the internal dampering are at 50%. Once Captain Hunter-Sowren, Counselor Marie and the rest of the Aryes' crewmembers were beamed back on the Aryes, we have set course to DS9. USS Frontier has granted us to be our escort.

We have made it to DS9 in about 5 minutes and 15 seconds and had docked in one of the upper pylon. Once we have docked, I've decided that the crew should have a short shoreleave until the repairs are done on the Aryes. After dismissing the crew, I have proceeded to Main Sickbay to check on Captain Hunter-Sowern.

The Captain had relayed to me that she is okay, despite her injuries that she had received. She also had told me to check on the repairs on the ship and to ask the DS9 Commanding Officer why they have not received our distress calls. The DS9 CO had mentioned that the distress call have not came in clear enough and then their sensors had malfunction right after the incident.

After talking with the Commanding Officer of DS9, I head off back to sickbay to report back.
