Finally back to duty. One of the worst ordeals a Romulan can face is being laid up when one’s ship is on a mission. Being more careful is a must, staying off the doctors’ ‘radar’ in the future is an adventure I am not looking forward.
As I entered the bridge and resumed my station I over head the Riov getting another away mission together to destroy the fighters in the cavern. Knowing I just came off medical I didn’t feel good about volunteering till I felt completely recovered.
Re-aligning scanners I started to watch the surface. Away team started their decent into the caves, and proceeded to set charges. The XO requested immediate beam out for the team, while he set off the charges. Finally after getting a lock I was able to get them all on board.
I had a problem locking on to the XO, apparently his weapon charging threw things slightly askew.
Note: need to adjust Heisenberg compensators, off by 200 milli-rads.
Personal log: Though I have only been on the New York for a few weeks I sense a fore boding atmosphere around one of the senior staff, as though there is a personal agenda going on behind the scenes.

It has been a while since I have posted to this log. So much has happened. We were able to complete our mission on ch'Justaus and return control to the Empire. Yhea and I have become bonded together as brothers. The surface combat we was bitter and it ended up causing one of our kind, Lt Jg Rhian Khev, to lose a limb and be returned to ch'Rihan as a war hero.
What was shown by this unfortunate accident is that a Rihannsu who loses a limb or vital organ in combat is retired to the Homeworld. It is not a way of punishing, but a way of taking care of our own. Unfortunately Lt. Rhian being only part Rihannsu could not understand and we need to bring a specialist from ch'Rihan to encourage him to return and reap his rewards. In the end, though some bitterness was felt, the balance was retained and another who valiantly served the Empire was retired.
We also transported an old acquaintance of the Riov back to the Homeworld in quest for his routes among out people. As we enjoyed shore leave I was able to sit and talk to a new member of our crew. Erein Dan'lia is most certainly a remarkable healer. We shall see what happens a time goes on.
After shore leave we received a call for help from the USS London. Apparently they stumbled into a thick plot against the alliance. I shall report briefly on this for I am still angry and ill to my stomach after seeing the humiliation and torture that was done to Rihannsu-a at the hands of these wretched creatures. I even left my post, completely against my training and duty to meditate, to try to get the images out of my mind. The Riov hopefully did not notice my dereliction. May the Elements cast them to the bottom of whatever eternal damnation they believe in.
My team is presently still actively pursuing and looking to destroy the generator cloaking them.

We are finally back at star base for needed repairs. The Tal'Shair moved in to take care of the last elements of the terrorists were were pursuing. No doubt the situation will be completely 'cleaned up'. Presently we are taking leave until our next mission.
The only note worthy item is the Klingon , Lt. ToQ consumed a bit more Blood wine then he should have and needed to be 'escorted (with the aid of a hypo from Dan'lia) to sick bay.
Once again I was not able to get to know anything new about the AMO........

As we prepared to get underway for our next mission a D class docked near us. I watched with envy as she maneuvered to her slip and the docking clamps engaged. Her hull markings said Dhivael. A well known Warbird with an iron handed Riov by the name of Galan Cretak.
Shortly we were notified that there was to be a dinner in his honor that evening. You could feel the energy as you entered the room. Two Riov-a sitting in one area is powerful experience. Later we learned through the the grape vine (Terran's have strange sayings) that they we once lovers.
Once again ToQ got drunk on Bloodwine at one point Riov Cretak got up and with a commanding voice started to challenge the Klingon's honor. However ToQ had already decided to return to quarters.
We have been invited to attend a dinner on the Dhivael tomorrow night. I look forward to showing Dan'lia around a D'class. Maybe we will finally have a chance to talk.....

Returning to the New York after the dinner we were given orders to escort a prison ship, the RSE Quatel to Subera Penal Colony carrying terrorist leaders. We were outfitted with a cloaking device and were ordered to patrol cloaked around the Quatel. Soon after we got underway we detected a poorly cloaked ship approaching the carrier ship. The initial readings indicated Klingon registry but upon closer examination it was revealed that the ship was actually Breen.
While we expected an attempt to be made the actual encounter and defeat of the Breen effort appeared to be too easy. Battle damage was taken and boarding parties encroached upon both ships. Using the cloaking device we were able to confuse the Breen ship and destroyed her completely. The problem now is if the Breen was able to get off a subspace message any other ships coming to rescue the terrorist will know we are capable of cloaking.
My overall assessment is the Breen attempt was a rouse to find out the weaknesses in our convoy.

As we suspected the first attack was a rouse to find the convoy's weakness. Once again we were put under fire by another attacker. This time the terrorist ship chose to self destruct before we were able to board. And now we have the prisoner on board the NY.

On a personal note I have decided to spend more time with Dan'lia. I want to get over my fear of doctors.

Just before we were to enter orbit we were attacked again. This time by 2 ships bearing down on us. We took heavy damage and shielding essentially knocked out, cloaking device marginally damaged but repairable. Both ships threatened to self destruct and contaminate the system. We were able to destroy them in time. The Doctor held the bridge well and took us out out of the battle in time to get into the planet defense systems.
The mission winding down I have called the infirmary to see how the Riov fairs."

In the Rihannsu Empire it often takes a while to advance in ones position and grade. We do not hand out rank for the sake of promoting. That is why I was extremely surprised tonight the Riov called us together in the assembly area in full dress uniform. As I walked in I saw Dan'lia and the CMO standing so I joined them.
I looked at the center of the room and I knew immediately that the Riov was planning a promotion ceremony from the layout of the Elements and honor guard. I waited as she proceeded to call us to attention and started the ceremony to see who was the honored crew member. I was totally taken off guard when she called me as Erien'Arrian Taev Tecz to the center.
I am honored and will always serve and protect my Riov and Empire, that is the oath I reaffirmed tonight

I was called into Riov Radaik's office and informed I would be temporarily transferred to the RSE Dhivael. I have mixed feelings about this for I have sworn my blood oath to Riov Radaik and the New York. I also wish I could have seen Yhea one last time before I leave for he is still on leave. Also, and I find this quite interesting, leaving Dan'lia behind has faint trace feelings of the loss I suffered when I lost k'Tri. I will have to examine that more in the coming weeks.
On the other hand I go with excitement also. Riov Cretak is a strong and capable leader. I will look forward to serving him as communications officer. To be on board a D' Class after the Talon", stopping for a few moments to get the thoughts of the final battle out of his head. "will be therapeutic.
Elements guide and protect my friends and companions. When the fates allow I will be back.

As we escort a doctor to a conference. Whois a leading authority on several genetic illness that have been known to cause parnoid behavoir leading to crimmial activity
we so have in our possession some highly sensitive documents. That must be taken to the same planet.
Senonrs picke up two Breen ships while Enhancing the Chatter to clearly hear them, it was confirmed they were looking for us.
I latter discovered they add two Orion Pirate ships and a Slave ship to the Hunt for us.
As I monitored the sensors and Chatter I found they were setting up a senor net to try and find us, we narrowly missed a sensor sweep by one ship and a beam weapon came close to us, I believe they were firring blinded hope to get lucky and hit us
They are starting to close in but the Leih as a plan a ghost ship to deveirt them long enoufgh for us to reach the planet

As the New York Decloaks and Jumps to Warp for 10 minutes, the Orions and Breen are caught off guard
A few seconds latter they give Chase, as the Orions fall to 40 clicks behind and the Breen 50 Clicks behind the New York
Ejiul thinks if they drop cloaked mines as soon as they drop from Warp the Orions would run into them when they dropped from Warp

Firing at several Breen who got on the bridge, as he monitor the ships
"Commander the Orions are sitting 15 clicks away, and waiting" he reports as the bridge crew fires at the breen intruders
"Breen ships are Aft on port and starboard sides, their holding steady" he reports
he makes sure the bridge is secure no more Breen can get in but those in can't get out either, but the bridge crew is rounding them up

After we deliver the maenak and the important papers safely we engaged the Breen in battle the Orions stayed back like the cowards they are.
The Breen managed to board us, we were able to stop them, then finial the Orions got a boarding party on the ship, we stopped them as well.
The Commander used my idea a placed Cloaked mines, when the breen launched their fighters then the Battleship made a run for us it ran into the mines, when it explode the Orions ran like the dogs their are, the Breen small ships soon fled as well.
We sustained Damage and casualties Lt. Zandile was wounded servilely I pray to the Elements she shall be alright, from this wound and what ever ways on her.
I' m now constantly monitory the Chatter and LRS for any ships, thus far this none, the Orions are Gone but the Breen have Cloaks so they may be laying in wait.

Our mission is over it went quit successfully several artifacts were brought back to the ship hopefully this gives some insight into the Cheron people.
We also recovered books many with just words a few with Pictures and some that were all Pictures, the RSE and Federation Will try to decipher the language
By the Elements I'd a like to had got a video of Anarra running out of the shuttle when she discovered the Flying Spiders
Erase last statement The Flying Spiders I named AnarraMuscaArachnida that name will most like change as they name it something more appropriate
we are head back to the New York The camping out down their I didn't mind just be glad for something that taste like food and not wood

Were back on the New Yourk after changing and eating in 10FWD Zan and Johanas We started our shift
After we left Ch'Cheron we head for Ch'Riann we have ran into the Breen and Orions, A breen ship was picked up on Sensors and they were talking to the Orions on how to board us
I assume they want the manuscript right know they have not spotted us, so were playing as humans say cat and mouse, they will make their move soon, before we are LRS of Ch'Riann giving them the most time before the Rhiannsu Warbirds are sent
