Lt Candela Montag reporting.
With systems failing, and the mysterious substance affecting ships systems. After losing almost every system, I noticed that only certain systems were affected.
I checked the LCARS, and came up with data on Nanites. I came to the conclusion that the Cardassians used this technology against us. I fllod all systems with Aeon gas, and it repelled their invasion.
Unfortunately, we had other intruders to deal with, namely Cardassians. After a brief struggle on the bridge, I accessed the Transporter, and held them in the buffer.
Meanwhile, the very same nanites, turned their attention to the damaged Cardassian ship. They reached the Warp core, and caused the magnetic locks to fail. The Cardassian ship exploded.

We have rid ourselves of theNanites, and repaired the ship. We also picked up an ambassador that the Federation fears the Cardassians want dead.
All was well until we encountered a Cardassian cruiser in Federation spce, with it's weapons hot.
After a breif, and fruitless converation, we warped out, but they gave chase.

The Frontier continued it's mission to deliver the ambassador when we were attacked by the Cardassians. They manage to get our shields down for a boarding party, but we dispatched of them.
There was a report of friendly fire, this has me worried. Although I no longer married to him, I still have feelings for him. I hope he's not in trouble because of this,as well as my other worries. Yuna did not report to duty. I hope I didn't frighten her because of the Rath'uk.

The Frontier has delivered the Ambassador without further incident with the Cardassians. Yet weare concerned with the Cardassians facination with this child.
To make matters worse, Guy has been placed in the brig. I'm feeling somewhat guilty perhaps for breaking up with him. Yet the man I once loved seems as though he no longer exist. While Yuna has affected every thought, and feeling in my heart, and mind.

The traffic patterns around the planet suggest high traffic. Admiral Taylar,suspiciousof these findings, has us diverting sensors to our stern, where we found a sensor echo.
Unable to determine it's nature, we launched a fighter to determine it's intentions.

Operations Officers Log Stardate: 63520.51 Lt Candela Greene reporting.  The echo continued to stay outside of weapons range. Fearing that the Cardassians were once again stirring up trouble, Admiral Taylar wanted them dealt with. Figuring if they were Cardassians they would be using a Klingon Bird of Prey, we reeled them in. expexting they would pounce. But Ensign Tremayne was ready to blow something to bits,and as soonas they gotinto weapons range, theyplayed their hand. We are returning to Starbase 234, when I detected a Warp signature. From it's readings it appeared to be a Cardassian Cruiser.We found ourselve toe to toe with 3 Keldon class armed, and ready for a fight. With fighter support we took out 2, and the third turned tail and ran.

We've finished up our repairs, and are on our way to the Alpha Quadrant. Our next mission will have us doing something, well pretty original. We are to explore the Outter rim of the Alpha Quadrant.
After the Pegasus encounter with the Colissians, starfleet believes that there are many more "Strange new worlds" to be discovered in our own back yard.

So far we have detected an alien warp signature just past the Kazar system. The signature general heading is towards the outter rim of the Alpha Quadrant. We then ran into a intersection of multiple warp signatures, most identifiable, but the alien signature split. We are trying to determine which signature would possibly lead us to their intended destination.

We tracked the alien ship to a 12 planet system circuling a white dwarf in hopes to make contact with a new species. But evidence lead us to believe that the system is pre warp. although several planets are being heavily mined.

We tracked the aliens to the 4 planet in the system. Although initially ther were no signs of adavance technology, a dampening field in thier upper ionsphere was present. Sensor picked up signs of civilization, but they don't appear on the surface.
I was selected for the Away Team, along with Captain Hunter, and Admiral Basal. We arrived on the plateau of a mountain. There we found life signs, an Avarian Humanoid species. And apparently they have found us as well.

We found the USS Exeter drifting in space, yet still entact. I led an Away Team to the Exeter to find her crew dead, apparently attacked by each other. Strange enough that bite wounds were found on their heads.
We sent one of the bodies over to the Frontier for further study, but we detected movement in the Ready room. We found a body, still alive, and apparently hungry for...brains. We took him out with our phasers, but the threat of more animated cadavers prompted our return to the Frontier.
It was decided that we clear out the ship of dead bodies, and depressurize the ship, and tow it back with us, while the Doctor see if there is a virus at work on the Exeter.

I've finally got the Translator online, and have sucessfully communicated with the Aliens. From what I have, they are called Avirex. They obviously have the gift of flight, and they are apparently curious.
They are also friendly, as they were eager to meet Admiral Taylar. This is one of the strangest First Contacts I've ever witnessed.

The Avirex seemed friendly enough, after they got use to my green skin. Apparently they are very suceptable to my pheremones. They did reveal in their history, they had been visited by invaders that stripped their planet of it's raw material. Apparently they attack every 21 years, and this happens to be thier 20th since their last visit.
Their history reports of many casualties when these aliens visit. This explains why their population seems staggered, and most of the material they request are basic food, and medical supplies, as well as water.
Their technology is equal to our late 21st century, but lack of raw material, and manufacturing facilities leaves them with little to show.
After careful analysis, I believe that these invaders are no other then the Tholians. But what does this planet posess that makes it a target every 21 years?
We were approached by a Tholian scout ship while in Orbit, and gave the usual warning, although we doubt this planet is truly part of Tholia, as it is 700 LY from thier nearest outpost.
