There have been some problems of someone, other than Klingons, who have been using the Bird of Prey to destroy several Federation ships, including USS Alliance. We were able to follow the trail to Tolnac II, the Marine training ground. Once we have arrived there, we were told to change course to Vulcan. This does made me wonder why we have to change course, although, Lt Samek was acting not himself lately.

We were able to make it to Vulcan just in time to transport Lt. Samek to the medical center there. I'm sure that he will be able to make it through his condition. While we were there, we were given some R&R.
Charan and I have been married for a year now. ::A smile goes across his face.:: I have found an anniversary gift that I believe she would love. It is a crystal of a wife and husband figurines. There is a crystal picture of a yellow rose in cased in the back. The figurines are circled around with hearts. She is the love of my life and very happy to be married to her. We have two wonderful children, Laren and Kenneith Jr, that I also love very much too.

Charan and I was just about to take a walk together by ourselves when we were called to do another mission. I was so much wanting to take that walk with her.
Once we were on route, it seems like we were being followed. A ship, which was cloaked, was following us at the time. I have suggested to go to yellow alert to see if we could bring them into the light. Which it did work. They have uncloaked and began to fire upon is. Despite returning fire, there was a hull breach to where some of the Klingons boarded. Charan, Hunter, and Larson were able to go down to where they were at and began attack them. The BOP was disabled by the time that some of the Klingons made it to the bridge. Upon orders, I've sealed off the bridge and the bridge crew and I had begun firing on the Klingons. Killing them off. Charan, Hunter, and Larson was able to killl the rest, but one to question later. When Charan came back on the bridge, I have noticed that she had a wound in her arm. I quickly grabbed another first aide kit and attended to her. Those damned Klingons!! They just have to attack my wife! This brings them no honor what so ever. Once I find out who ordered 'these' Klingons to attack us, better stay away from me.

While Charan had went to the Brig to check on the prisoner, more or less to get information, Lt. Candela Montag and Marine Captain Quinn Troi had brought something up to my attention. One of the Klingons that had bled over Lt. Montag's console seemed to be unnatural. Synthetic in other words. I will have Lt. Montag and Marine Captain Quinn Troi to run more test. To see what was posing as Klingons. Once we find out who, how and what, we will find out why.

We have came to learn that the Klingon prisoner was, say to the least, a test subject. She was able to have telepathic abilities and a few other abilities. But I am still curious why this Klingon was even made the way she was and how. It couldn't be genetic manipulation. It is illegal under Federation.

Executive Officer's Log Begin Log.......
After we had contact with the Klingon Commanding Officer of the Bird of Prey, we head back to the Star Base with the prisoner. Some recent events had happened that had lead to our now existence knowledge that there is a Klingon, who is now on board USS Frontier, that had mutated in order to have both emapthic and telepathic ablites. This is something that, I believe, that the Admiralities would like to have some kind of reasoning why this had happened. Something I would like to know myself.
Once we had arrived at the Star Base, I had went into the lounge, to meet up with my wife, Charan. ::He smiled.:: We finnially got a chance to spend some time together. She even suggested to go play tennis a bit later on. Something we haven't done since we have been married. I just may have a bottle of springwine and the hot tub reserved for later use. ::He smiled.::

We finnially was able to spend some R&R on a shore leave. I was spending my time with my wife, Charan and was about to take a walk with her in the holodeck when we were ordered back to our stations after a distinquished Ambassandor had arrived on board. Once we had made our way to the designated planet, three orion pirate ships had came up on sensor range and was reported by both Troi and Candela Montag.

I never had meet anyone that was insufferable as the Ambassador. And I thought that the Qs were bad. I'm sure that there will be a stalemate in this instance. I'm just glad that she is off of the ship and onto her planet.
But one thing I never expected her to do is her send us a black rose bush. For humans, black means death, but to her species, it means respect. She would want us to keep the rose bush alive.
I'm going to end this log here. There is a holodeck waiting for me and my wife, Charan, for a session of tennis. ::He smiled.::

Everything was just fine until we have transported onto the planet. Dillion, Lt Candela Montag, Lt Hunter and I were on our way to an underground bunker that Dillion had picked up. Motag had picked up at least 3 lifeforms on her scans, which turned out to be Lyrans. I've let the team to be on the look out. Which seems like some of the teammembers also repeated the same thing that I had just said.
I did had the FPCO to target the Lyrans and fire at them. But after I Montag told me that they were protecting something, I had told him to delay my last order. Which he seemed not to get due to lack of communication. I had already figured that what they were protecting was destroyed, until we have gotten into the bunker to look inside. When we realized that something wasn't right, I have ordered the team to get out. It seems that few of them had actually listened to my order. Dillion had gotten the information that needed and told me that we need to go. After I had already gaven the order to leave. ::Sighs.:: I had transport my team off of the planet and onto the Frontier. Most of them weren't happy that they were transported back to the ship. They were given orders to get out. Like I was given orders to get my team out of there and to transport out. Just some decided to listen until the last second.

After we had finished being checked out by the Doctor and gone through the decontamination. Not one of use was infected with the bacteria expect for one that Marine Captain Quinn Troi had reported on. One of her science officers had gotten infected with the bacteria.
We had a meeting afterwards and found out that the Ambassador could be hidding something from us.
Not only was the situation with the bacteria that ways heavy on my mind, but a few questions. Why would the Lyrans would protect whatever was in the underground bunker and what was it?

My suspicions about the Lyrans will be always there. Even if they may have tucked in their tails and ran home. While I was discussing the topic with the bridge crew about the Lyrans, two Orion ships had came and began to make their advances. One of them started to fire upon us while the other started to go into the planet's atmosphere. I went a head to let the MCO to launch the fighters to fire upon one of the ships while we contend with the one that is firing upon us.
One of the Orion ships had exploded before it went into the planet's atmosphere. The second one was on its collusion course towards us, but it had exploded right before it even got a chance to. But we were not safe from the shockwave. There were many repairs, injuries, and caualities on board.
Who I am most worried about is my wife, Charan, and our children Loren and Ken Jr. I do love them very much. I'm glad that our children are with their Grandmother on the Starbase. I agree with Charan that the Starship, like Frontier, shouldn't be a place for children. Especially for their age.

There were a few reports that had come to my attention. The first one was the 4 crewmembers that had died in the last attack. They are LtJG Henry Foulke, Crewman 2nd Class Gina Dawson, Lt J'raal Ikwan, and Ensign Janet Yeager. It does sadden me that they lost their lives. I will make sure that their families know about this. They were the ones that were on deck 18 when we had problems in the weapons coupling control relay room. Or what was one.
Most of the repairs made my engineering had been completed by the time our Away Team went down onto the planet. At least we were able to go into warp than no warp at all.
Right before the Away Team came back on board, we had Lyran fighters firing upon us. We quickly held them until our away team came back on board. By that time, the Lyran fighters had went up to 25. Ending up causing us having more damages to the Frontier. But most of the Lyran fighters were destroyed.

The blasted Lyran fighters are at it again firing upon us. I swear that I hate them more than anything. Charan had me and the CSEC to transport back down to the planetside next to the lab. She wanted us downloaded the information and then destroy the lab. Something that I didn't mind doing at all.
Once Lt Montag, now Lt Cmdr Montag, and I had arrived at the lab. Once the information about the bacteria was downloaded, I exited from the side door as Lt Cmdr Montag placed grenades in the lab.
We managed to destroy the lab and everything that was in there. I have gave the information to Charan.
There were several damages on the ship as the Lyrans continued to attack us. Everyone onboard worked very hard in order to finish the Lyrans off.
Lt Kwin Spiritwalker Kinsely, Marine Captain Quinn Troi and their teams were able to come up with an antigen that could be dispersed across the planet. After this was done, the President wasn't too thrilled of what had happened. Maybe in time she would learn her lesson. Which I doubt very seriously that she would.
Most of the security teams on the security team two had perished among the attack. They will be missed very much.

We are heading to Starbase 117 for some major repairs on the Frontier. We has substained major damages from the attack from the Lyrans. We were only able to go from Warp 2 to Warp 5 or 6 due to the damages that we have received.
On our way to Starbase 117, we came across an anomaly that started to pull us through. The crew gave several suggestions of how to get away from the anomaly, but Lt Samek suggested that we hit the chronoton particales with a few photon torpedoes.
Once the torpedoes where launched and impacted the anomaly, the chronoton particles were destroyed. But this still didn't keep the anomaly from drawing us in. It didn't take us long before we ended up going through the anomaly and on the other side of it.
If the chronoton particles were not destroyed, we would be destroyed. Also, if we didn't encounter the anomaly, it would have taken us 12 weeks to get to the Starbase instead of matter of minutes.
We were able to dock at the Starbase faster than what we normaly would be docking at, but we made it alright. Thanks to the crew working together as a team.

We have arrived at SB 234 for ship repairs and some much needed R&R. Everyone has been on edge in the past few weeks and needed a break.
I thought that Charan and I would enjoy a dinner together in the longe. Something that I have missed enjoying. I have been worried about Charan, but I know that she will let me know what is on her mind when she is ready to tell me.
Charan had told me that when she will go to Bajor to take the children to her mother's, she will go to one of the temples to pray and to study to become a Vedak for Trinia's wedding. I am proud of her that she wanted to to this. I have let her know that if she wanted me to go with her, I will be gladly to go. She would want me to stay with the children when they unpack at her mother's home.
I enjoy having the dinner with her very much and thought of how much romantic it will be if we took a walk on the holodeck. What cheered me up when I had saw that beautiful smile of hers when I have asked her when the last time I have told her that she was so beautiful.
But I do have a question, what am I going to do with the phaser rifle that I have in my closet when I was holding it when Laren becames a teenager? The best thing to do is to keep it handy just in case.
I have heard that watching the wormhole opening up was quite beautiful and spiritural. I have suggested this to Charan to see what she thought about going to see one open. Maybe when we are own our way to Bajor, we probably could.
