David nodded and followed her sweeping gesture toward the bio bed and took a seat. He glanced back at the doctor and he thought how lovely she looked
He had a bit of a headache which he was sure the doctor would see that in her scans. Suppressing his emotions was not one of his talents but he done it out of respect for the Rihannsu part of the crew and it took its toll
As the doctor gather her medical equipment, he flashed a charming smile at her "Did anyone tell you how lovely you look?"

Thinking the doctor forgot about him or got called away, he simply gets up and leaves sickbay, leaving the doctor a note stating to call him when she is not so busy

Dan'lia reenters the sick bay after answering an emergency call and finds the note left by David. She sends him a message, "sorry for getting side tracked. Whenever it is covenant for you, we can resume your check up, "

Zandile enters sickbay for a normal checkup. She looks around for the doctor, sitting up on a biobed and putting a hand on her stomach that is difficult to impossible to hide at this point.

Dan'lia enters the sick bay and smiles at Zan. "You seem to be developing well. Lets get a picture of how things are going" After the scans, Dan'lia helps Zan sit up. "Now watch your diet, and don't go fighting large armies single handedly. the baby is growing well and you are healthy enough for things to go easily."

She chuckles as she sits up, "I've kicked the habit of fighting large armies by myself. Fortunately, we haven't seen much combat at all lately. Thanks doctor, I'm glad everything is going well. You can tell Johanas if it's a boy or a girl, but I want to be surprised." She smiles.

Zandi frowns for a moment at the doctor's tone, but she's really only kidding. She knows that telling Johanas would be like telling her, because he was so bad at keeping secrets from her. She smiles, "You're right, but if he asks, you can tell him if he wants to know. He managed to keep my birthday present a secret for a few days, maybe he'll manage to last a week if he knows if the baby is a boy or a girl." She chuckles as she stands up. She walks over to the door. "See you in a month, doc, but hopefully before that if you ever go to Ten Forward."

ZandileReyBaccus: ::Zan drags Johanas to sickbay since she refuses to go alone.::
Dawnlia1: CMO gets Zan to the bio bed, and checks how far the labor has progressed
Dawnlia1: cmo>Zan & Johanas> Great this is it folks, we are going to have a baby
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She grins and remembers to breathe.:: About time
Johanas Hanson: oh great its a baby and I have like two names gonna have to take our chances then :smiles taking her hands gently holding her : shhh breath relax
ZandileReyBaccus: ::Leans back.:: I'm sure it's pretty far, considering that I had to wait for him. ::pouts at Johanas::
Dawnlia1: ok, lets breath deep, and you will know when you need to push.
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She nods, breathing as she was instructed to do. She squeezes on Johanas's hand when she feels the pressure and pain getting closer together over time.::
Dawnlia1: Ok Johanas, hold her hand, this is a big one.
Johanas Hanson: got ya dawnlia :holds tight waiting for the pressure bound to break his fingers :
Dawnlia1: ::places her hand on Zan's stomach, checking where the baby's head is located
Dawnlia1: Will not be long, ::feels the stomach contract again::
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She whimpers as she feels a big one, but at least the doctor had warned her so she could be ready.::
Johanas Hanson: its gonna be just fine zandie just think about something else it helps I imagine :not really sure how to help but to keep her calm:
ZandileReyBaccus: I think you're... ::steels herself, then waits for the contraction to pass.:: ... who's more agitated.
Dawnlia1: Just being with her is helping
Dawnlia1: and you would not want to miss this would you?
Johanas Hanson: :smiles nodding down at her : no this is awesome wouldn;t miss this for all the gunfights in the Orion syndicate :helping wipe the sweat out of her eyes some:
Dawnlia1: Alright Zan, breath deep and slow.
ZandileReyBaccus: He'd be in the doghouse if he missed it. ::She chuckles, then catches her breath and follows the doctor's instructions.::
Dawnlia1: Ok, here comes a big one, breath in and hold
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She takes a deep breath and starts to push.::
Dawnlia1: OK that is a good one ::she waits for the contraction to finish::
Johanas Hanson: alright just calm slow breaths pace yourself save your energy sweetheart its alright
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She waits too, taking deep breaths during the break and holding Johanas's hand. She rarely broke out in a sweat, but this was one of those times, which was understandable.::
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She gasps and pushes again, feeling the little one getting closer.::
Dawnlia1: I don't think it will be much longer, this little one is in a hurry
Johanas Hanson: been waiting long enough to come out and see us :laughing: come on little one
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She pushes some more whenever she feels the need to, but makes sure Johanas has a good idea of how it feels because she clings to his hands so tightly.::
Dawnlia1: ::Hold hand on Zan's stomach:: This is going to be a strong on. Brace yourself and breath deep
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She braces herself and takes a deep breath again, then yells as she feels a big push.::
Johanas Hanson: :wincing tightly shaking my head a little with the twisting and squeezing:
Dawnlia1: ::cmo sits as the head of the baby crowns::
Dawnlia1: one more good push
Johanas Hanson: woah check it out its a head and the blood really is blue how strange Lchuckles to stay sane :
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She swats at Johanas because he's laughing, but then gets distracted and pushes, completely missing the aim of her swat, but pushing as hard as she can.::
Johanas Hanson: :dodging and smirking: way to go zan
Dawnlia1: ::cmo reaches out and holds the baby as the child emerges. she holds the baby a moment
Dawnlia1: Johanas, Zan, I would like you to meet your new son
Dawnlia1: ::she cleanes out his mouth and the child starts to cry::
Johanas Hanson: hey a son i'll be well mom was right after all :smiles down at Zan:
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She relaxes, finally done pushing and takes a deep breath, grinning.:: Let Johanas hold him first, he's been most impatient.
Johanas Hanson: :smiling with a nod to the doctor: thank you so very much you have been most helpful just look at our little boy I think hes got your ears :chuckles collecting the little one:
Dawnlia1: :;after the baby is cleaned and checked, the cmo lays the boy into Zan's arms
Johanas Hanson: hey there little Gregor we have been waiting so long for you to come see us
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She giggles, suddenly giddy.:: That's a load off.
Johanas Hanson: :chuckles: i'd say about eight pounds of a load yeah
Dawnlia1: Gregor, that is a nice name, shall we make an annoucement to the ship?
Johanas Hanson: i'd say we should of course no reason the whole ship shouldn;t share in our happiness
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She nods to the doctor.:: Yeah.. and thank you so much.
ZandileReyBaccus: ::She lets Johanas hold his son for as long as he wants.::
Dawnlia1: cmo>t>shipwide> all personnel, Johanas Hanson and Zandile would like to annouce the arrival of their son, Gregor.
Johanas Hanson: :smiles holding him close cooing in his ear and smiling carrressing Zandiles stomach and shoulders affectionatly:

Dan'lia led Ejiul into sickbay and had him sit on the biobed. She pulled out the medical tricorder. Holding the scanner, she checked his sholder and arm. "You do have a pinched nerve, but it looks like it has some healing. Jane must have done you a lot of good. I hope it did not tire her too much." She applied a nerve block. "This should help the pain until the swelling goes away." She treated the area. "I will need to do this every day for a week."

He sits on the Biobed as Dan'lia runs a medical tricorder over him "Had I know it would tire her, I would not have let her do it"
She gave him something for pain "I will be hear every day for a week to be treated" he says then smiles "I'll get to see au every day that makes coming to sickbay worth it"

Daw'lia smiles. "Very kind of you to say so." She sets the scanner down. "that is all for today. I don't think that it harmed Jane in anyway to help you. I just hope she doesn't overreach." She looks at Ejiul, "What was it like to hear the babies?"

He looks at Dan'lia and smiles "It was Amazing, they didn't speak but I knew they were their, I felt the concisioness, and they knew I was their.
They may have picked me up through their mother but their concisioness focused on me, or seemed as it did, but it is something I shall never forget"

Dan'lia eyes take on a far away look. "That must have been something." She shakes her head and picks up a hypospray. She applies the hypospray to Ejiul's neck. "This will keep the shaking and the pain down. Well, be sure that you return tomorrow, or I will have to come after you." She grins.
