When Kiele entered the base, it seemed more disorganized that she'd expected. Cargo containers lined the corridors. Some were opened and empty. In some the contents had been damaged. Debris littered the decks and it smelled as if livestock had been moved through them. She rubbed her nose to suppress a sneeze. Something small and furry ran in front of her. then darted between her legs. The sneeze caught up with her and the creature, startled, darted away again before she could get a good look at it.

He looked up, hearing the Colonel order a course be set for Starbase 211. He wasn't sure where that was at but it didn't sound like it would be close to home, near Earth. Checking tactical sensors, he raised a brow when he found out the starbase is near the Cardassian border. Interesting. He didn't think he has ever been out this far or so far from home. He smiled a bit, thinking he had Cindy and their two girls
He tapped his comm badge, contacting his wife "Hey babe. If you can pull yourself away from sickbay.." and Doctor Devoroh he thought briefly "..how about you and me finding a cozy place to spend some time together at the starbase that we're headed to?" He kept a humourous tone to his voice and waited for his wife's reply

"Hey Doc" she lightly shakes him "You been asleep 2hrs" she says as she hears her Husband but Just then Clyde says something.
Walking over she taps her Comm badge "Give me a few minutes to call you back just got the doc up and Clyde just woke up" she starts scanning Clyde

"Would you stop that" he waves his hand around "I'm fine go join your husband that's an order" he says.
He starts getting up when Cindy pushes him back down, then she calmly spoke to him.

She pushes him back down on the biobed "You have it wrong, your in sickbay I'm in charge her Sir, Now stop fussing I swear your worse than my kids" she laughs and scans him

Aidan heard his wife's reply and then heard Clyde's gruff and growling tone of voice as he seemed to just wake up, as Cindy had said. he couldn't help but laugh at the exchange between his wife and the man who sounded like a grizzly bear who just woke from hibernation "Okie dokie, babe. I'll wait til you tend to the doc and the bear but tell the doc I said to get his lazy bones up, he''s played dead long enough and you may want to give Mr. bear a fish, sounds like he is hungry." He laughed again, glancing to the Colonel for anything from her
( course, I might add that we're already docked and should be getting off the ship for whatever we plan to do, so this is a back post )

Rob get out of the biobed, took a quick shower then went into medlabs to conduct his research alone while everyone else went on leave. He'd refuse to take leave since research doesn't finish itself.

Kiele hoped she didn't look at tired as she felt. For once she was actually looking forward to having a little time to herself. The Starbase, though small, was a port in a storm right now. One thing she had come to understand is that command was not the pinnacle of achievement she had thought it to be. In the time since the Captain's disappearance, he was missing, not dead and she refused to believe anything else, command had become something she dreaded. It might have been that it have been thrust at her and she resented the manner in which she'd acquired it. It might have been that so far, she had nothing but two failed missions to show for her time in the center seat or it might just be that after all, command was not what she wanted. She really needed some time to slow down, think and understand her feelings on the matter.
She opened a ship wide channel and made the formal leave announcement, quietly adding to Aidan with a small conspiratorial smile. "Enjoy the time with your wife and please try and stay away from firearms or any other projectile weapons?"

As he waited for his wife to get done his sickbay, he checked the weapons inventory real quick and thought they could do with a fresh supply and maybe some upgrades, but he doubted the upgrades would be given way out here in the middle of nowhere practically
He glanced up again at the Colonel as she granted leave and he grinned, happy to hear that, even though he felt tired and wanted to sleep. Course, he could get the sleep after he spends time with his wife
As the Colonel turned his way, was it his imagination or did she look as tired as he felt? He blinked and saw the conspiring smile she had on her lips , practically doing a double take. He chckled at her words then smirked himself No worries there, Colonel. When I am with my wife, I won't have any firearms or anything projectile.." His grin then matched her grin, leaning in to share something with her that he might have kept to himself, then winked and nudged her playfully with an elbow

She finishes the scans on Clyde "Your scans are OK, but I want you on limited duty for 3 days your cleared for limited duty, I don't mind saying you gave me a scare" She says with a smile
Then stepping away she taps her Com badge "I'm heading to our quarters then some quality time with you" she says as she sees Clyde sit up and stretches

He listens as Cindy puts his on limited duty, the clears him as she steps away to talk to her husband, he sits up a stretches then with a grin he says "The Nap did me good" and knowing her com was open "I like Catfish Aidan 3 should be enough" he laughs

He heard his wife respond, he smiled and winked again at the Colonel. his smile faded a bit as he heard Clyde on the same frequency, saying something about liking catfish. He glanced back at the colonel with a look like what the heck is he talking about.
Then it dawned on him. The bear was responding to his crack about feeding the grizzly a fish. He nodded "Catfish is quite good, I love it myself. I'm sure the replicator can make a mess of them in no time. It can make everything else. Now get off my wife's channel" He said grumpily, then added a "sir"
He knew that his unease about other men being around his wife was showing but he didn't care. Instead of waiting for Clyde to respond, he addresses his wife "Can't wait, babe. We haven't had a moment together in seems like ages." He said, itching to hold his wife in his arms, amongst other things

"No we have not"She nods to Clyde who is laughing as he exits Sickbay "I'm looking forward to it, just me and you the twins are in the nursery" She says as she pokes her head in the CMO office "Clyde as been released I'm off now" She reports and heads off.
re-tapping her com badge "Heading to our quarters now" she tells her husband, being their quarters are near Sickbay it didn't take long, she quickly got out of her uniform and put on her blue chiffon dress the one Aidan likes so much, touched up her hair and put on some perfume

After she dressed she left her quarters tapping her com badge that looked like a broach she called Aidan "Honey I'm head to the SB" she said as she walked to the docking ring.
She saw Clyde dressed in a uniform and waved, he returned the wave as he entered the docking ring.
She looked around for Aidan not seeing him right away "That man will be late to his on funeral" she said with a laugh.

He was head to the SB dressed in his formal uniform being a major Jarhead he didn't own Civiy cloths, He spotted Cindy as she waved, he waved back and could not help think how pretty she looked.
When he entered the SB the smell hit him "Smells like Charlie's place" as it smelled like livestock, he notice it was not the best keep up SB.
He went to their lounge and entered some of the SB Crew were in the lounge he nodded and walked up to the Bar "Cold Milk" he says in low voice for his size, the Bar keeps who's back was to him laughed "What's the matter Mommy don't let you drink?"
The Barkeep turned and slowly looked up at the Mnt. Standing their "Holly Crap!" He says, Clyde just smiled at him "Cold Milk" He says as he leans in his rank showing, "Yeeeesssss Ssssiiiirrr" he says and quickly gets the Major his milk.
