Aidan simply stands at tactical and monitors the sensors. He then tapped his badge. "Hey Clyde, What's goin' on down there? Any changes?"

He waits for a few moments before scanning everyone. He then looks at the enemy forces and shows them the scans, "look, no one here is sick anymore."

"I'm happy to hear everything has worked out Doctor, but you still sound very much alive to me. How did you get the Capellans to relieve you of your obligations as their leader? The title is generally held until death."

"Perhaps they would be but that's not a chance I'm willing to take. If you leave now, it could throw the tribes into chaos. Without leadership, the temporary truce established as a result of having cured the disease could erupt into greater violence. You're going to need to find a way to give up your position in accordance with their codes."

He was listing to the Doc and ACO talking and shaking his head, when he heard a load clap of thunder.
An evil grin came across his face +T+ACO> What if we shoot the Doc with a very low powerbeam it will look like lighting down here and stop his heart" he said as the lighting flashed "I will then annouce he is dead we'll beam back and revie him"

"that's actually not a half bad idea, minus the whole phaser part. I have medications that can 'simulate' death. Then all that has to be done is wait for the drug to wear off"

She listened over Clyde's comm as the Doctor added his concerns and ideas.
"I think both ideas have merit. A low power beam striking the area nearby would distract the Capellans and make it appear that the Doctor has been hit. Then the drug can be administered. However, even if they accept his death, unless there is a clear line of succession, the problem of who will become leader, remains."

Honestly, if I'm 'dead' then I don't see why I care, as long as I'm not stuck there... I would imagine that succession would follow the blood... For instance according to old english law succession would move to the first born son, unless you go by Henry the Eights revision then its first born child. But being that the child is still an infant then probably his mother or uncle until he's of age.
