In the Lounge, he walks with Nemi as she chose a table by the veiwport, bypassing the table where the food flinging began "That's true, but believe it is natural for a person to eat his or her own culture's cuisine but for me, I don't mind, I like to have a variety and not have the same thing all the time."

ACTION
Star Base 178 Tow ship tows the Tarawan into position the Station locks on and tractors the ship into dock,
The ship docks the docking umbilical cord hooks up and docking clamps attach to the ship
On the Bridge they show down to docking systems and receive word they may now disembark

She watched as the ship was towed in to position then as they were tractor in, when the umbilical cord hooked and the docking clamps "Go to docking power" she orders Ops nods and powers down systems.
She Opens a ship wide Com the Alert is heard "Attention Tarawan crew shore leave has now begun station only" She repeats the announcement then closed the Channel

Sitting with Free when he heard Sam's Announcement, he smiles at Free Well lets get you to the Station sickbay he gets up and waits for the medical team to transfer those still unconscious to the Station

He glanced out the veiwport just as the Tarawa made it's way into port, then he heard the announcement from Doogan. He frowned a bit then looked to the counselor. "I'll be right back with some food."
With that he turned and went over to the replicator to order some oskoid wraps, some Jestral tea and some uttaberry wine
Bringing the order back over, he set the two plates of oskoid wraps down, and offered her the tea "I assume that you're a person who drinks tea, or am I assuming things?" He smiled at her in humor

"I do drink tea but I don't know how you could sense something like that." She looked at him curiously. "Is it something you associate with a particular personality?" She held out her glass for him to fill. "And if it wasn't something you could sense, I'm equally curious what would make you assume I was." She sniffed the light amber colored liquid appreciatively.

He raised a brow at her multiple questions. He was looking for a simple yes, no or thank you. Instead, she looks at him with suspicion and more questions "When I look at certaain people, I get an impression of them. Some people are easy to read." He said, trying to emulate the counselor. He then chuckled a bit, then shook his head "Like i mentioned, I assumed you drank tea. You just confirmed that you did." He commented, filling her glass with tea

She grinned mischievously."You still haven't answered my question however. Am I easy to read and was it an assumption?" She gestured, indicating the wraps and wine. "And more importantly what am I about to drink and eat? "

His grin matched hers, although the attractiveness is entirely on her side "I assumed, you confirmed. I believe you are easy to read when you want to be. As for the tea and wine, they both are drinks native to Betazoid. Both are used to relax and unwind but mostly they are good to drink. These are Okkoid wraps, Oskoids have a dark grean leafy texture, much like lettuce on Earth."

"So you're saying that next time if I want to relax I should just eat my food instead of throwing it?" She grinned and took a sip of the wine, propped her elbows on the tale and interlaced her fingers. "Tell me something about yourself. Why did you choose to join Starfleet for example?"

Amusement lit his eyes and his face "You can either eat or wear your food to help you relax but most people I know like to eat the food they desire, with company of their choice." He commented before she set her elbows on the table to look at him with interlaced fingers "Well, I come from Betazed, as you know already, from a small country town just north west of the Jalaran Jungle. I traveled quite frequently to the Jalaran Falls just to sit and contemplate or to swim. I also like to read, go on camping trips and explore new places." He paused to let her absorb all that

"Now that sounds very relaxing. You paint a very beautiful picture. I can almost feel the mist from the falls." She sighed and took another sip of the wine. She was silent for a moment while she let the flavor of it linger on her tongue and imagined the exquisite scene he'd portrayed, which was about as long as her inquisitive nature could be held in check.
"Please pardon the analytical observations but you have such an obvious love of nature. Tactical seems very far removed from those interests."

He smiles at the woman across from him, his mind drifting back to the Jalaran Falls on his home planet, Betazed, remembering the days he spend there, listening to the falls. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Perhaps one day he could take Nemi there? It's a thought
Nemi's next comments brought him back to the present "I dont mind your analytical analysis, counselor. After all, that's what counselor's normall do." He commented, not meaning to cause offense "I do get that lot, people thinking it odd for a Betazoid Tactical officer. I do love nature and other things that go along with it. Being a Tactical officer offers me the chance to protect the values and interests that I love, cherish and hold as sentimental value."

He took a bite of one of his wraps as she spoke and asked him questions. He could sense that she is interested but how deep that interest goes, only time would tell, he assumed "That's one of the reasons that brought me out here. Other reasons would include meeting new people and exploring new places." He chuckled a bit, looking at her as she "challenged" him Yes, I would like to get to know you more but I did not want to interrupt you in you asking your questions of me. What are some of the things you like to do, besides analyzing and counseling people?"
