Kiele looked over her shoulder as they exited. She was concerned about Thompson's death. Since they had come up clean after decontamination, it was a relief to know it wasn't something they had brought back with them. Neither the bite nor the sprained ankle had been serious. Maybe it had been an underlying condition? An allergic reaction? Did the other injuries compromise his immune system and make him more susceptible to infection? The doctor was already working on his autopsy. Kiele was sure there would be an answer soon.
The doors closed with a whoosh behind them. She'd been momentarily lost in thought and caught what she believed was the tail end of a whispered conversation between Charlie and Andrus.
"Hmm? What was that? I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." She smiled apologetically.

Kiele's eyebrows knit in confusion. "I was sure I heard something." She looked at the others who , judging by their expressions, hadn't said anything either. "Must have been my imagination. I probably just have some mud stuck in my ears." She laughed.

"I think we brought back a case of the creeps with us. Now we're seeing and hearing things." She gave Charlie a critical look. " I may have mud in my ear, but what's your excuse?"

"I see. I must have missed the class on paranoia." She gave him a poke in the ribs for emphasis. " You and your invisible friend can keep your hands to yourselves and don't forget the books. Once Science has them stabilized and scanned, we're going to have some work to do."

Bri, as she is known by her friends and also by her brother, was busily working in Sick Bay, having gotten cleaned up from the away mission where she came back covered in mud.
~Oh, if only Crio could've seen me when we came back... He'd have asked what kind of mud hole I got myself into...~ she mused to herself, and couldn't help but smile.
She went to treat those who had come into Sick Bay for whatever their reasons, and was slowly starting to become familiar with her new ship mates.

Sick bay As the autopsy continued new questions came up. So far the results revealed a heart condition that was never discovered before. Testing would show it appeared to be a long standing problem one that should have been detected. Additionally, Thompson's lungs showed an acute bacterial infection. One more inconsistency was the level of endorphins in his blood were off the chart. Away team After being cleared they returned to their quarters to finish cleaning up. The feeling of being watched was now accompanied by feelings of unease. These feelings would come and go never lasting more then a few minutes at a time. Lt London in his quarters was sure he saw a shadow out of the corner of his eye, while feeling he was being watched. It lasted only a minute. Bridge crew Maybe it was the feline nature but FetchStorm To~Vensre could have sworn he felt eyes on the back of neck. And he heard what sounded like a sigh. The fur on the back of his neck stood up for a moment.

His acute feline senses told him that someone was watching him, even though he knew no one was there. His sense of hearing picked up on a sigh. Not only did the fur on his neck spike, his whole body spiked, ears laying flat on his head, tail twitching. He growled a warning "Whoever you are, you best leave and quickly, before I decide to turn and rip your throat out." His one revealed that he would have no qualms about said action

She was looking down at some reports when she heard FetchStorm To~Vensre and growl. Looking up fast she couldn't see anything.
"Lt, is something wrong?"

He turned back to the Field Marshal as she looked, and spoke, up "My feline senses are on alert. I am sensing that someone is watching me and I picked up what sounded like a human sigh." His fur still spiked, tail lashing a little

Her brow knitted as she looked at him.
"Are you sure, no one entered or left the bridge. And no one could have moved that quickly I would have seen who it was. Do you have idea what it might be?"

He saw the humanoid equivalent of a confused expression on her face "I've no idea of who it may be. If it is someone from this ship, I would be able to smell their presense and know who it would be. I had not heard the TL doors open and close and I am just as quick, Field Marshal. I would also be able to see, and hear, them should they enter or exit the bridge."
