he looked at Windstorm and nods "I understand that Windstorm, there wasn't anything you could do... I cant believe what they did to Lizzy though" he shakes his head in disapproval to what the mafia did to lizzy... Surprised that Lizzy is actually still alive. The EMH wasn't working on lizzy at all, only the MCO... The CO is taking care of Lizzy's medical care personally. Part of hm feels responcible for what happened to Lizzy and Windstorm as their commanding officer; it should have been him instead.

"I can't believe they did that either" he notices it the EMH working on him and the CO on Lizzy, his tail spirals "All you humans look a like" he says, he knows now is not the time to joke, but for some reason he thought he should

{Posting as Temporary CMO}
She came into Sickbay, securing the fastenings on a fresh labcoat and accompanied by several technicians all simultaneously trying to update her on the current situation.
"Captain. Thank you for seeing to things so efficiently. I'm sorry I wasn't here when you came in."
She assessed the others. "There will be time enough to deal with the feelings later. Right now I'd prefer it if you would all concentrate of the physical." She indicated a sedative for Ensign Cooper, inspected the MCO's wounds and nodded.
"You'll have some lovely battle scars. You were planning to keep them weren't you?" She gave him a quizzical smile.
She turned to the Counselor with a look of understanding."Ensign Moon, a little advice. Don't blame yourself for the actions of others, especially those you can't control. Would you like to stay and assist?"

a nurse comes in a few hours later with Lizzy's new arm, the prosthetic arm as a built in tricorder fuction with the nessessary sensors in the finger tips of the prosthetic. Carl has the prothetic given to the CMO for attachment "her arm is prep'd and ready to go it just needs attached. In the mean time I'm sure I'm needed else where" just before he stepped out he looked at Moon "I'm sure they took them because those are the only two they could lock on to fast enough. they didn't care who they got, as long as they got someone" He seemed unhappy about something but the rest of the crew needs him as well.

He turned to the Captain "I believe the more important question is what would they want with Wind Storm and Ensign Cooper and why would it be so important enough to physically assault and disfigure them. It is no one's fault but the Mafia's."
He was about to comment to Wind Storm's "Humans are all the same" comment but turned to see temp doctor Christienne enter and speak to each of the group. He raised a brow at her as she spoke of him blaming anyone for what had happened "Doctor, I am not blaming anyone for what happened except the thugs that took Wind Storm and Cooper." He started back-peddling "I would stay and assist but I have more crew evaluations to scan."
He stopped as he nearly collided with a nurse bringing in a prosthesis for Lizzy, then added "When she wakes up and gets used to her new arm, have her call me if she feels she needs to talk."

"My understanding of Sivaoan customs is limited, marine captain and these are times when we can chose whether to keep a scar or to have it repaired. I was only interested in knowing how you viewed your wounds. For some, keeping them might be a mark of having shown courage in battle, for others it might be considered shameful."
She reviewed the work one last time before scribbling a signature on the duty padd she held. "You're cleared to return to light duty. I would like to see you back in two days, sooner if you notice anything peculiar, such as having grown a second tail. She grinned.

The new prosthetic arm was attached while Ensign Cooper slept. How much did Lizzy remember about her ordeal? Under the influence of the truth drug, it might be very little. Either way it would be a shock and waking up with both hands and arms was in every way preferable to the alternative. Lizzy was young and would recover well from the physical loss but Moon was right to be concerned about what she might be feeling.

After the prosthetic arm was attached latter she slowly woke up, once awake she started crying then she screamed when she saw her arm "No! No!" she grab the prosthetic arm and started pulling "My Arm! My Arm!"
she looked around for something to cut it off Her eyes were wide, as she looked at the prosthetic arm, but all see saw was an arm that was cut almost off bone sticking out and flesh rotating
"Get it off! Get it off!" she yelled she started clawing at it trying to scratch it off, she remembered them cutting her arm, in her mind she was still on the Mafia Ship, she heard a noise and looked in that direction "Stay back! Stay back!" she started crying again

She'd anticipated the possibility of a violent reaction as well and had placed restraints on Cooper. She knew the young ensign wasn't reacting to what she really saw but to something she saw in her mind.
"10cc's of Kayolene." She ordered from the tech, who passed her a hypo.
She administered the sedative and watched for a few moments as it took effect and Lizzy calmed, then she sat down and updated Cooper's file, copying it to Moon. She included the data he could use to look up and replay the internal video footage of Lizzy's reaction.
