"But no concrete diagnosis? She shook her head. Murmurs could be nothing or they could be a sign of something more and should be watched carefully for any new developments.
"Any other signs, chest pain, dizziness, palpitations? Anything you can think of. Don't dismiss a thing."
She got up and motioned him out of her office and into Sickbay proper, then pointed to a biobed and activated the scanner. She wouldn't say anything against her associates in Medical but in her opinion, this was damned irresponsible.

"They have done some extensive tests to see if they could isolate the murmurs and perhaps medicate me so that I wouldn't have the murmurs so often." He said, expaining his condition and what they done at SF Medical
He got up to walk with her out into the main part of sickbay, as she gestured again for him to do, moving to a biobed so she can start the exam "I've felt dizzyness and minor chest pain, plus what feels like hard thumps, like heart beats." He told her, wondering if she would know what he meant

"I'm going to start with an EKG and echocardiogram." She gave Moon a gentle push on the shoulder to prompt him to lie down.
"The problem with hearts is that their electrical fields can be disrupted so easily. Muscles contract, arteries fluxuate, bloodflow is disrupted, all because of one tiny little electrical charge."
She placed the sensor discs on his chest.
"This shouldn't hurt a bit but if you feel anything unusual, let me know."
Almost immediately, she noticed something unusual in the reading.
"Has anyone ever discussed with you a possible problem with your mitral valves?"

He heard her say that she would start with an EKG and an echocardiogram. He sighed and was already starting to lay down when she gave him the prompting nudge "Thrilling" He comments, without much thrill in his tone, more like sarcasm
"The problem with hearts is that their electrical fields can be disrupted so easily. Muscles contract, arteries fluxuate, bloodflow is disrupted, all because of one tiny little electrical charge."
He nods as she put the sensors on his chest "So in other words, it disrupts the whole bodies electrical field, so I could either have a short circuit or a power surge." He said with humor in his tone
His humor didn't last long with she asked him about his mitral valves. The look on his face would tell her that he little knowledge when it came to the body and it's fuctions. Now the mind is a different story "My what valves?" He asked a bit dumbfoundedly

"Mitral valves." She smiled. "They open and close to control blood flow between the heart's left atrium and the left ventricle. Sometimes that valve flap is too large and causes an uneven closure. That's your murmur. Most people don't have symptoms, so until you noticed the murmur, it went undiagnosed."
She removed the discs but had him continue to lie on the bed while she observed.
"The good news is that it's easily treated. Careful attention to diet and exercise will relieve the symptoms but if they persist, you can have the valve surgically repaired. I'm going to write you out some recommendations."
She helped him to sit up.
"Everything else looks good right now. Unless you have something else you'd like to discuss, I'm going to release you and mark you as fit for duty, but I'd like to see you back when your file finally catches up or if you notice any additional problems or changes."

"Mitral valves." She explained. "They open and close to control blood flow between the heart's left atrium and the left ventricle. Sometimes that valve flap is too large and causes an uneven closure. That's your murmur. Most people don't have symptoms, so until you noticed the murmur, it went undiagnosed."
"They not catching it before leads me to the conclusion that this murmur is something recent."He said to her as she removed the sensor diodes "Could have happened there at my last post. I had been quite busy."
"The good news is that it's easily treated. Careful attention to diet and exercise will relieve the symptoms but if they persist, you can have the valve surgically repaired. I'm going to write you out some recommendations."
"Exercise. sounds simple and so does the diet. I am certain under your care, it won't be persisting for long." He says with a smile." His Betazoid charm coming out a little. He accepted her assistance into a sitting position, also hooking part of the bed with his foot for extra leverage
He looks a little relieved when she cleared him for duty "I have concluded what I wished to discuss with you. I thank you for your services. I shall let you know as soon as my medical file arrives or if something else should happen, I'll contact you."

Continuation from the live episode of the sim \
Location: Counselor's office, deck 11 After regaining consciousness, he realized he is still in his office with a stack os padds on his desk and a crew bio on his computer monitor
He then remembered the empathic blast of pain that he felt from Lizzy, that had knocked him unconscious. He frowned, unhappy that he was unable to help the woman he cared deeply for
He cleared the crewman's bio from his screen then tapped into the ship's sensors and reports. Somehow they travelled through a temporal rift and ended up back at sector 001. Earth, with everyone aboard. Checking Medical reports, he found out Marine Captain WindStorm To~Sivao and Science OfficerLizzy Cooper had been admitted to sickbay for injuries sustained to their persons
He got up and left his office, walking down the hall and entered the TL "Sickbay" He ordered the TL and down he went
A couple minutes later, he exited the TL, walked down the hall and entered sickbay. He seen Wind Storm and he looked like something a cat dragged in ( pun intended. lol )
He walked over to the bedside, looking at Lizzy, minus part of her arm. It looking like someone had sliced through her arm at the elbow. He now knew where the empathic spike of pain came from. He turned to look at Windstorm, giving him an accusational 'why didn't you protect her' look. "Report. What happened?" He asked the feline officer. Granted, he is still an Ensign, but he is also the ship's counselor. As he waited for an answer, he looked back to Lizzy, concern in the depths of his eyes

\\\Continuation from live simulation///
We went down to sickbay to check on the two below and to see if everything was being well taken care of medically. Though he hasn't been an active medical doctor for a few years his training was still valid... Something he kept a secret from the rest of the crew to this day. He walked in looking around at the pools of blood "I hope no one expects me to clean this up" he said to no one in particular as he went to the group surrounding the MCO and CSCI, most of the attention was given to Lizzy whose status is clearly more serious. Due to the blood loss the sodium pentithol has rapidly worn off and she should be returning to normal any minute now... Unfortunently, due to the trauma, she will more than likely need phycological care. Carl went to the biobed that Lizzy was on and instictively activated the biobeds dome and looked at her vital signs. Shortly followed by grabbing a laser scalpel to cauterize her wounds, it was the most effective treatment in this instance and the bleeded needed to be control immediantly. A nurse brought over a few units of blood just before the EMH was brought online.

Surprise registered in his eyes when he heard the voice of the Commander. He turned to see him walk over, his attention focused more on Lizzy. His brows furrowed a bit but then sensed the Commander's medical training coming to the foreground.
He remembered reading in the Commander's file that he started his career as a Medical Officer, which surprised him at first, but in a sitation like this, it would prove most helpful
He watched as he grabbed a laser scalpel to cauterize her wounds and stop the bleeding. He gave a brief glance around sickbay, wondering where Christienne is, seeing the EMH activate. Instead of being in their way, he moved to the side to watch

He saw the EMH starting to care Windstorm out of the corner of his eye. Once he got Lizzys bleeding under control he'd give Lizzy a pain reliever... Bout time followed by himself cleaning and irrigating the wound to get everything out of there. Then gave Lizzy an anti-bacterial and anti-viral agent... His own little cocktail of microbial killers. He grabbed a osteoregenerator and Lizzy arm and 'fixed' the bone ending on the end of her limb and placed a cap on the bone. The cap was there to a prosthetic since this would now become nessessary for her. He then grabbed a protoplaster and proceeded to do various skin grafts and work to place electrical caps on nerve endings that would provide the prosthetic with its sets of orders... basically work as her 'old' arm used to. He gave a nurse a set of instructions to take to the science labs to have a prosthetic made specially for Lizzy.

She laid on the biobed, staring up at the ceiling as the sodium pentithol rapidly wore off "Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!" she screams loud from the pain but never stops looking at the ceiling.
when the EMH gave her something for the pain her screams stopped she started to go under but muttered "I didn't talk Sir I didn't talk" then she went under and the EMH finished working on her

He looked at Eric "Only because you like her will I I'll tell you! we were beamed onto different ships, I was made to fight and killed two of them"
His ears drop when Lizzy screams, he looks over at her then back to Eric "I didn't know what they did to her tell she was brought to the planet, I could not protect her" he looks at Lizzy then back to Eric
He then looked over at the Captain "I will make a full report up on what I know Sir" he says as the nurses treat his wounds

He noted a defensive tone in the feline's tone. He wasnt sure whether it was due to his injuries or he had yet to come down from his predatorial frame of mind. Eight days may have passed but it was a mere blink of an eye to all of them "My personal relationship with Miss Cooper is irrelevant at this time. It is my duty to see to the mental well being of each crew member and that includes.." He paused, Flinching as Lizzy screamed. He had to raise an empathic shield in order to keep from passing out again. When she is sedated and she is put to sleep, he continues "..the physical well being of each crew member, including yourself."
He paused to hear his next comment about not knowing what they done to her "Isn't it obvious what has happened?" He said with a glance to her injured arm "They tortured her and severed part of her arm when they didn't get what they wanted from her." He frowned at that. The very idea of torure was appalling to him
As the Marine Captain spoke to the Captain, he partly blamed himself for not being able to help her and Wind Storm

He looks back at Eric "I meant when I was on one ship and her another I had no idea they did that, tell we ended up on the same planet" he looks back at Lizzy
" Torture yes but removing part of her arm no" he then looked back at Eric "I don't need your help, but Lizzy lost so much more she will need you most, I am fine" he says

He nodded when he told him that they were on different ships. Why? He had no idea and wondered what that proved
He looked back to Wind Storm "If they did not remove her arm, by means of torture, then where is it?" He asked "She had her whole limb when she was abducted." he reasoned
He studied the Sivaoan officer for a moment then commented "No, I supposed you would not need a counselor but should you change your mind, my office door is open."
He turned back to Lizzy
