The bortaS still had a few knick to work out, but once done he would prove to be the finest ship that was in the imperial fleet.
You could feel and taste the anxiety as they got closer to Volner. New warriors would be tested, a ship would prove to be all he was expected to be, and hopefully the CO would be back at his post soon. The strange aliment that came upon him so quickly.

Running checks they found the Target Acquisition sensors was damaged, "Their we are" he growls and quickly opens the Transporter control panel.
He unhooked wires, moving them out of his so he could reach it, getting hold of it he unhooked the wires to it, then pulled his hands out getting his tool, he unhooks the damaged Target Acquisition sensors, then takes a hold of it and removes it.
He toss it to his Assistant who then hands him the new Target Acquisition sensor, he then installed it and secured it in place, Then he tossed his tool over to the assistants.
He rehooked up the wires to it, then rehooked up the wires he unhooked to reached it, he turned to his assistant "Secure the panel back on" stepping a side and tapping his Com badge and coms Kalore "Number four Transporter is now fixed" he reported

At times if you were to look at D'herack, if would seem he was in an alternate universe. But nothing went passed him without notice that was important. It was then, in the mist of the small annoyances of a new ship that he decided he would remain on the bortaS. This other opportunity was interesting but he had already began to build a bond with crew and ship.
"All stop. We will not proceed further until an inspection has been taken and any other annoyances will be corrected. Arishela take us to the moon surrounding the 3rd planet and set up orbit. I want this ship ready to move out within 8 hrs the latest. MOVE ON IT NOW."

"Hija ra'wl moving into position now." A few minutes later she reported the following.
"We are in orbit around the moon. Beginning diagnostics now on Helm." Arishela would take nothing for granted her console would be fully operational with the alloted time frame. Failure to do so was not an option she cared to explore at the moment.

When Kev had heard the exchange between the Operations and Engineering Officers, he had expected the ra'wI's order to stop. It would have taken twice as long to repair the malfunction as for the ship to arrive. D'herack had not ordered it, to Kev's surprise. It was only when the Engineering Officer reported the repair complete well ahead of the estimation that the stop order had been given. Either J'Dan had over-estimated repair time or misidentified the problem and this, the ra'wI' saw was reason to stop and perform additional tests.
The delay grated on Kev's already raw nerves. It would not matter that the delay was a necessary and reasonable one, it would still be viewed with disapproval by those waiting for them.

As the bortaS settled into an orbit and the crew began to check the ship in earnest. Not one, wanted to be the beq that failed to find anything that was out of place, step, timming, or in any was defiencent. The tension that was felt coming from the ra'wl' was in itself a warning.

He growled out orders to his team, and they ran complete diagnostic system check on all systems no matter how small they may be
"If theirs anything even just a micron out of order I want to know about it! this is a Klingon ship not a Federation ship!" he yelled as he ran the testes on the weapons and shield systems

His teams were running checks on all the hand weapons, checking invoice in the Armory, they were making sure the EVA Suites were all with in specks.
While his team did as order he ran a system check on the security station, making sure every thing was well with in specks, he could feel the tension coming from the ra'wl'

All ships systems were well within specs but, no matter the Ra'wl' knew what he wanted, orders were orders that was enough. He had not given a grunt nor had he looked up he was too busy checking and, rechecking each system , making further enhancement to each to ensure its efficiency. If any looked at him none would be able to gage his mood though ithad not changed one iota since he had entered the bridge. Work served only to make him more ready for battle when it came. his duties were just like the every days practice with the Bat'leth it served to make you a better warroir more prepared for battle . These were things he relished for in his hearts he felt he would not have true honour until he had gained member ship in the "Order Of The Bat'leth" All this was Centerd around Battles.

Down in sickbay, or what was known as medical on a Klingon ship, Kaylara was not aware of the ra’wl’s mood or of the tension on the ship. The only thing she was aware of was the heart beating in her chest and presently in her ears as medical was quite she had dismissed the crew to run readiness drills on the holodeck as they were lacking proper stimulation with the tasks that she was handing out to them. Presently she was under one of the five bio beds working on it so to give the crew something productive to do once they got back. A test of their minds was in order so they kept good mind she was in control down here not them.
Growling she got up from her knees back to her feet straitening to her full high and noting the time. The medical staff should be coming back shortly and she would be off duty for a while as her assistant chief of medicine was due to come on for his butcher’s shift. She had to grin he was good at removing appendages from disobedient personnel, and some not so disobedient. The mental image in her mind she entered into a pad what she did so he would know what happened and how to fix it should the staff fail in their duties today.
Just as she was finishing with the final encrypted message letters her esteemed colleague walked in and in his normal foul mood. She just grunted at him and handed him the pad, “Good luck they’re really a handful today.” With that she thumped the pad in his chest and stormed out of medical perhaps when she returned in twelve hours he would be in a more talkative mood, and they would be able to continue their work on the experiment they started a few days ago. However much she enjoyed his expertise she did not want to be around when he was in one of his moods. Perhaps someday one male would be strong enough to attract her attention but till then she was going to work.
With that thought line running through her head she walked to the nearest lift to take it to the officer’s deck where her quarters were located at. She was going to dine alone in her quarters again tonight as the mess seemed to be too much of a bother for her right now. Her mind reeled with why she was assigned to this ship and why she was assigned such inadequate staff that she had to constantly be on them. She didn’t almost see the person she had to avoid before going into her quarters for the night if anyone was going to need her they were going to have to come to her she was not going to go to them.

With the ship in orbit, and his study of the mission finished he stood then paced the meH for a few minutes. He was resistless, it was time they got underway. Looking at the time he nodded to himself.
"All stations report in." He didn't anticipate any more problems and it was who ever reported their work was not complete, he knew he would not want to be them.

"Science is ready. No additional problems encountered, qaH!"
He had cross checked every piece of information that came across his station with those taken from Operations and found no discepancies.
