Her brows went from raised to furrowed as he kept calling her Ava's shadow "I resent that. I am not her shadow. I am her blood sister and her ship mate." She almost told him that she is also her commanding officer, but decided to leave that out. She then frowned when David asked if Clyde knew they weren't his "He knows. I told him. Although hurt, he understands and doesn't care who the biological father is. He will raise them as his own and that's all that counts, in my opinion."

He looks at her, then sees her frown as she answered him, he looked back at the Twins "That's all that matters is he will treat them like is own, and he loves you" He then pulled Yuna closed and hugged her "So whats my nieces names? and no more shadow, you have been up graded to Sis" he kisses her cheek "Welcome to the Family Sis.....but if you wish I'll call you Yuna"

As soon as he heard the announcement of shore leave he simply powered down the tactical station and walked into the TL and rode it to the deck his quarters were on.

SB Lounge
Yuna nodded in agreement to David's comments before she was pulled into a hug with the big man. She was surprised to notice that David's physique matched Clyde's, but that pretty much ended the resemblance "How lucky for me" She muttered into his stomach as he commented that she'd been upgraded to sis. She pulled away when he asked what his neices, her twins, names were. She pointed to the twin on the left "That's Anara, and the one on the right is Leeta" She said, noticing the twins weren't 100% identical. Anara has a small mole on the lower part of her chin, on the left side "Sis or Yuna is fine" She added as an after-thought

He looks at Yuna, then at the twins "Well Sis can I hold them, I promise I wont break them" he looks back at Ava "your not....." Ava cuts him off

She looked at David point blank "You better not break them. There's no way I can replace them.." She reached for Anara, then looked back to David and Ava, looking perplexed as she handed Anara over then reached for Leeta. "You''re not what, sis"? She asks Ava

He takes Anara and cradles her in his arms "Hi Anara I'm your uncle David" he lightly brushes her cheek, his hard exterior soften when Anara was placed in his arms "Someday I'll have you meet my daughter Kayla shes 3 now" as he talked to Anara he didn't hear anything that was being said

Anarra noticed that she was somewhere she hadn't been and she looked around, starting to fuss, but she saw her mommy and quieted down. She looked around a bit more and looked into david's face when he spoke to her. Not understanding what he says, she just coos and makes general baby sounds
Yuna just stands by and watches

After the Colonel made the announcement of shore leave for three days she stood and headed for the TL.She just missed the one The Andorian she was slightly embarrassed that she could not remember his name.
She waited for the next TL and headed for her quarters.

She walked through the main docking ring into the star base.She looked around and like most star bases it had shops and restaurants all small but nice.
As she walked around the main hub she saw the SB Lounge.Walking in she saw quite a few people some faces might be familiar she was not sure.
Walking to the bar and taking a seat she ordered a apple martini.Looking around at everyone she smiled warmly.

She heard the announcement a few hours ago but had so much to finish in the way of reports and shifting around personnel. Finally she finished, she stood up and went to the VP her mind once again revisiting the mission and her unique relationship with Iverson. Jay turned and went to the door taking a last look around, making sure she had everything and then left to go to her quarters.
On the way there she wondered what the new Andorian would be like. She knew his name, service record but that was it. At least her race's innate need to band into clans would finally be meet. At times her loneliness was almost more then she could bare.

He sees Lt Free enter the lounge, then looks at Yuna and Ava "If you'll excuse me I'll be right back he then walks over to Free carrying Anara
"Hello Lt Free, I'm 2Lt David Greathouse and this is my niece Anara, I'm pleased to meet you" he smiles down at her
