He realized his first error when he took his station, Veralen had relinguished the Oria back to him when he had announced that he had been made Second Officer
He turned and looked at the l'lorel'ei Amnei'Saehne "Hann'yyo, erie'Arrain. I now have the Oria" he said to her, noting the Science Officer. He turned back to his Flight control board

When he finally answered her she inclined her head slightly. Then returned to monitering the tactical scans.

He went to take the PADD that he was offering but then sensed he was hesitating so he put his hand down again I do wonder if you know if the Commander will be sharing this information with Starfleet. I mean I may be currently assigned to the Officer Exchange Program, but I am still a Starfleet Lieutenant. I suppose I do hold certain obligations to them, and after all there is the matter of the Alliance... but I must admit diplomatic and political matters seem to go over my lobes sometimes. If only everything was as simple as quantum gravitational equations... I suppose I am only being curious before I hand over my final findings in the matter.
He listened to what he said with a neutral expression. When he finished, he spoke up "I do not know what the Riov plans to do with this information, although I will discuss with her your suggestion to share this information with Star Fleet" Although he doubted that is what she would want to do. He waited for him to hand the PADD over

He sends if finding to the CENG with a txt message " I would like your opinion on the crashed Borg's ship I'm getting the Hull is made out of Material found on the Spheres builders Spheres"
"I have sent sent a copy to the CENG to compaire my findings before I report it Rekkhai"

The Ferengi officer continues to hesitate as he runs the possibilities through his mind, before becoming sidetracked by particularly hard quantum algorithm he had been working on earlier. He returned his attention back to the sub-commander. I do suppose, that it will work out. I mean the Federation and Romulans are allies. Yes... Yes I am sure there is no harm in any of this, and I do want to continue research on this problem, very much so... He hands over the PADD to the Romulan officer. I know that it will work out...
After passing across the PADD he continues to stand in front of the other officer somewhat awkwardly.

As he waited, the Ferengi Paectum'Saehne continued to hesitate, which he grew annoyed. He saw him looking passed him again, as if thinking or debating what he wished to do
His expression never changed. He watched as the Ferengi's eyes focused back on him "I do suppose, that it will work out. I mean the Federation and Romulans are allies. Yes... Yes I am sure there is no harm in any of this, and I do want to continue research on this problem, very much so... He hands over the PADD and he received it. "I know that it will work out...
"Indeed, It shall. By The will of the Elements. Hann'yyo, Thank you for your exceptional report." He was quite impressed but he didn't show it "If it has concluded, you may return to your station"
He looked at him to see what he would do next

Yes of course... Thank you, Sub-Commander. He renders a salute and walks from the room back to engineering. The concerns of his report all but faded into the background noise of his ever moving mind.

As the hours passed she started to become restless. Changing her position several times. But her attention remained on completing her task of ensuring that the ship was ready should she be called into action.

As the shift reached its halfway point she did the checks on her station that were required. However, unless something broke there would be no change. She was not disappointed when the check relieved everything was at the ready.
Once again she changed her position.

After the Ferengi officer left, he sat back and collected his thoughts and looked over the reports from the saehne-a that went on the Away Team down to observe the Borg sphere and the Federation Officers, including himself
He arranged everything into a single report then added his final thoughts. He looked at the chronometer and saw that he had one hour to his meeting with the Riov
The hour passed by quickly and he stood from his chair and took both the report and the PADD that held the Engineer's theories and walked out of his Ready Room, across the Bridge, pausing to cooly glanced around at the officer maintaining their stations then continued on toward the Riov's Ready Room. He rang the chime to announce his presense

Though it had only been a few hours and those hours had passed peacefully enough in assessing damage and making repairs, she was relieved when the Subcommander arrived. Once he had given his, she still had her own report, she corrected herself, report"s", both to Galae and Starfleet to submit, and already she knew the upheaval this information would cause on both sides.
She activated the door and admitted Zareth.

The door to the Riov's office slid open to admit him and he stepped in and greeted Liordra with a casual nod "Jolan'tru Riov Lhhei. I have done as you instructed and retirved the reports from the Away Team saehne and compiled them into a report for your viewing" He paused then went on "I also have a report from the Chief Paectum'Saehne. He has advised me that he has some plausible theories that he could create a Trans Phasic Engine, as he had termed it. He theorizes that this engine, if successful, could drastically reduce space travel time"
He paused to hear her response

"I have an hypothesis, Subcommander." She looked briefly up from the desk, then returned her gaze to the monitor and to the officers on the Oira. "The Borg seemed to have some idea of the sphere's location and arrival. I doubt very much that their own arrival was coincidental." She looked up again catching and holding Zareth's gaze. "What if the jump was not random as we speculated? What if the sphere was following a pre-programmed course? It might explain also why the Borg cube left so quickly. It may be that they are actively tracking the sphere and if that is the case then there must exist a navigational record detailing the coordinates for each jump. I am certain I need not explain the importance of having such intelligence. I want all the data collected by the team thoroughly reviewed. Theory, is possibility. A working engine however is irrefutable proof".

She informed him that she has a hypothesis as she glanced away from her screen a moment before looking back to it. His eyes remained on the Riov, listening to what she had to say "The Borg seemed to have some idea of the sphere's location and arrival. I doubt very much that their own arrival was coincidental." She looked up at him, catching and holding his gaze. "What if the jump was not random as we speculated? What if the sphere was following a pre-programmed course? He remembered the disk that the Daise Dheno had put in his possession when he received her report from the Borg sphere. As he had time after finishing his primary report, he scanned the disk himself. It's files, charts, coordinates, flight control maps
He produced another PADD from his person, along with the disk "The Daise Dheno found and recovered this disk from the Borg vessel before it phased from our existence. The Disk is Federation in origin, it holds star charts, coordinates, intended destinations and several files, some of which are corrupt due to the disruptive field that we and the vessel was subjected to. There are also other files that contain some quite useful information, even though it was hastily done. It is my opinion that this is the proof that we seek"
He placed the PADD and disk down on the Riov's desk in front of him

She looked out the VP, but glanced at her moniters and data stream from time to time. Her thoughts went to the last time she was home and she allowed herself a few moments to indulge in this.
