Once Ra'wl D'herack had left his office he looked over his orders PADD again.He knew his former Commanding Officer and he would never fluff his last assignment.This Ra'wl D'herack looked to be a maj warrior and leader but he would wait and see for himself.

He glanced at his terminal where the bortaS would get his orders what ever they were.Growing restless from being docked for so long he let out a deep growl fighting the urge to do something violent to the terminal.

[D'herack]

He walked back to the HoD office since there was something to report. He rang the chime and waited to be admitted.

Hearing the door alert he looked up from his desk,"Enter"

[D'herack]

He walked in and saluted, until informed about the HoD'pu personal feelings on saluting in private, he would continue do so.

"I spoke to the beq', I was challenged by one directly but it was nothing I could not handle. I let him off easy this time, next time if he is foolish enough to try it, it will be far worse."

"Another had difficulty in understanding the word immediately that was also corrected."

"Other then that I have nothing to add. Soon enough we will now the true mettle of each one."

Waving off his salute,"Have a seat D'herack it is maj you handled such foolish behavior.From your report youyou have given me you are already going to keep a close eye on both of them.Hija their mettle will be tested in fire and blood."


"In your opinion is there any of the beq'pu that has shown weakness or anything unusual?"

[D'herack]

He sat down then listened to what the HoD had to say.

"ghobe (no), none have shown such traits and it is well they did not. I see only glorious battles and honor as we progress."

Smiling a toothy grin and slapping him on the shoulder."Hija the bortaS will have a glorious life and he and the beq'pu shall have songs and great stories told and sung throughout the Empire."


His face becoming serious again,"I expect our orders at any time so you are dismissed D'herack be ready to assemble the crew once the orders come in."

[D'herack]

Hearing that orders will come in soon made him smile. "Hija qaH. It will be done done." He stood, turning then walked out.

He had just finished up all the needless paperwork when his console beeped telling him he had an incoming message.Tapping the key to receive the message."HoD Molar you will be getting your Chief Engineer very soon.Upon his arrival you will be receiving orders for the bortaS and his first mission.Admiral Gar'tak out."

With that the transmission ended.A smile crossed his face soon the bortaS would be on his first mission.Finally he and the beq would be able to show the Empire this ship would be much more than worthy to serve in the Imperial Fleet.

Tapping his COMM Badge,"D'herack report to my office."

[D'herack]

He arrived at the HoDs office then hit the chimes and waited to be admitted.

Hearing the door,"Enter."He had the Admirals recording ready to play back for Ra'awl .D'herack

[D'herack]

He stood at attention then saluted, by balling his fist, striking his chest where his double heart was located. "Ra'wl' D'herack reporting as ordered, qaH."

Waving off his salute,"D,herack have a seat and in private you don't have to salute me.I received a message from Admiral Gar'tak that our new Chief Engineer would be coming aboard.Has he reported in yet?""If so I was also informed we would receive our orders for the borta'S."


His eyes still fixed on D'herack showed his anticipation on receiving the orders."In your opinion if the orders do come soon is the beq and this ship ready to move out?"He took a drink of his raktajino waiting for D'herack's response.

[D'herack]

He nodded as the HoD told him to dispense with saluting in private. He sat opposite him and listened.

"HIja the jonpIn (engineer) has arrived. I informed him that this vessel is to be the best in the fleet, nothing less will be accepted."

"We should get a QeDpIn (science) officer soon. That is if his orders remain."

"The beq' is ready and with a few exceptions that will require some additional on the job" laugh "training. But that is as always. They will learn quickly."

"The ship is a fine specimen, he is one of the best I have seen in awhile. I look forward to the start of our mission."

Allowing a brief smile,"That is maj to hear once the bortaS is underway we shall see exactly how the beq responds.You are proving yourself to be a most useful Ra'wl D'herack your file tells no lies.Do you have any questions of me?"

"If not you are dismissed and be ready to get Alpha shift at their stations at any time since our orders may come very soon I suspect."
