She got 2 com messages in rapid secession.
The first one was from Colonel Allen, "Yes sir, I'm ready. Be at the shuttle in 5 Min's. And don't worry it will be a piece of cake."
The second one was from Marc, and she responded with her own message. "I'll be back ASAP, and maybe that will be lunch and dinner. Later. Sandy" She smiled after sending it.
See looked at Davy as he laid sleeping in his crib. She smiled, then leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I love you little man and mommy will be back soon. You be a good boy." She gave him one more kiss and gently brushed his hair with hand before covering him up.
She left her quarters with a suitcase. A civilian would not arrive with a duffel bag. She had called ahead and got a room at a hotel near the hospital. As she walked to the shuttle bay she went over her preparations making sure she didn't forget anything.
Sandy walked over to the shuttle and saw Capt Bradley.
"Hey, Jack is she ready to go and what are we calling her." She smiled and waited for his answer.

She's ready, Jack smiled. I really haven't named her that will be up to you but remember its disguised but its still a military ship. you do have weapons if the need arises both inside and out. I've hidden them, but you'll be able to find them.

"Thanks, she looks great. I'm sure I'll find everything I need." She got in and put her suitcase on the seat next to her. Making all the necessary checks, then she tapped on the communications link.
"Major Iverson here. Or should I say Victoria Kaine. Ready for departure. To ensure no one figures anything out I'll move out then turn about, going 20 kilometers then starboard for entrance into their system. This will be directly counter to your departure from their orbit." She waited for the bridge to answer.

His com badge goes off Hall here he heard Sgt Ed was back then Lt. Saris was on the shuttle was he lite up like a Christmas tree
He then looks at Aniri If you excuse Major I should go welcome our crewmembers back he gave a nodded to the Major then left.
At a quick passe only slowing when a Crewmen came by he made is way to the Hanger Deck just in time to see Vash getting off the shuttle

He listened as Major Iverson said she was ready to go."God Speed "he said under his breath.He still remembered the Hell Iverson and Roberts went under when they were abducted.Torture was an understatement.
"Lt. Moon inform Major Iverson she is to launch when ready."
It was his job to send the best person for a particular job and it was their job to do the assignment.That was just the way it was and everyone knew it.He received the information that a shuttle bringing in LT. Saris and a Sgt he had not heard of before had came aboard the Tarawa.
Tapping his COMM BADGE he opened a channel,"Hall do you and Jay have your people picked yet?I need to know what plans you have set up and are ready to go in a moments notice."

She saw the change in him when he found out Vash was back. While she was glad to have a great security officer back she was surprised with his reaction. His sudden departure before informing her of his plans caused her some concern.
She sighed and went back to her work after taking the temperature down to a more comfortable zone for her. Since she knew nothing of the plans she began to form her own.

He hands Iverson a duplicate of his Saint Christopher medal. "Major, I made this for you. it has a transponder in it. We can use it to beam you from any location instantly. Just tap it twice." He hands it to her. " I like to leave nothing to chance, and a commbadge would be too conspicuous."

She smiled and looked at it. She had seen one only once before a Marine who served under her died with that held in his hand. "Thank you. And this is a great idea no one would think of looking at this as more then a religious symbol. And don't worry I intend to come back I have a wonderful son who needs me."
She smiled at him. As with all Marines they were more then just a military unit it was more like family and each worried about the other.

Good, we already have one good woman missing. He smiled. I just want to make sure that we take all the precautions. Besides, I'm told a certain pilot would have my proverbial scalp if something happened and I was the cause.

She smiled when he eluded to Marc. "Now would he really want your scalp? I'll be back, neither Davy or Marc can get rid of me that easy. Besides missing is not my thing. And I'll find her and bring her back to you." she smiled again. And hoped for him she would find Kaine she heard they were becoming a couple. And she wanted them both to be happy.

He smiled knowing that secrets didn't stay that way long on a ship this size. "Safe journey Major"
He backed away waiting for her to launch. The list of things he had to do in preparation were whirling through his mind now. He knew if he kept busy it, he would not climb the walls.

She watched as he backed away from the shuttle, then she closed the doors and waved to him. In her mind she said one last prayer that it goes well, no mission could guarantee anything. Then she went over her plans, while she waited for clearance.

One of the security guards from her shift brought her up to speed on what has happen since she has been away. She thanked him and headed for her quarters to put her duffel bag away and then check in on the bridge. As see was walking to the door she saw Hall enter, she smiled and walked up to him. Hello there stranger. She put down her duffel bag and hugged him and gave him a kiss she knew it might be a bit out of line but she was glad to see him.

He sees Vash walking toward him and smiles when she says Hello there stranger. She put down her duffel bag and he feels her arms wrap around him as she hugs him and gives him a kiss
He hugs her back and kisses her back Hi Beautiful he saw the hanger bay crew looking at them I haven't see my girlfriend in months
Smiling at Vash he then looks at the crew Or do you think the XO dosen't deserver a girlfriend he says they don't say anything
I missed you have you been brought up to date on events here?
