Yes it felt chilly alright " Well Ma'am..first off I was taken around the ship then kinda had an encounter with a Marine and was required to go to sick bay along with everyone I had contact with then I had to wait for Lieutenant Saris because she wanted to bring me here to have me disciplined I suppose but I lost her on the way here"

She listened to him and her antenna curved gently in his direction as he spoke. "I see."
"You will be assigned mainly to ship patrol for now. I demand that you be at your post and doing what is required each and every shift assigned to you."
"I have a policy where I will listen to any complaint, suggestion you may have. I'm always interested in knowing how my crew feels."
"If you have never worked with an Adorian before I suggest you do a little research. The more you know about me and what to expect the better it is all around." She waited to see if he had anything to say.

Standing at Tactical, he is thinking how average thi shift is. He looked up at the viewscreen and didn't see nothing but stars. He looked over to Zarlena, their eyes met and she smiled at him. That brightened his day a little. He smiled back at her

The new CMO came on board from the long distance shuttle that brought her from her last posting. Her hip length silver-white hair was confined in a tight bun at the back of her neck and her pale ice blue eyes sparkled with mischief as she came abosrd and saluted the ship before she handed over her orders to the marine on duty. "Captain Ariella Night Wing K'Trevala, the new CMO for the Tarawa. May I come aboard?" The Marine grinned as he handed back the orders after checking them. "Welcome aboard, Captain. The bosslady had gotten herself somewhat messed up so you might want to check on her when you meet her. I think she's in her ready room. Are you familiar with the layout of an Akira class?" Ari nodded, "been on one a number of times, I think I can find my way." She saluted the guard and headed on up to the ready room to meet her new commander.

Ari nodded as her bun came loose from the close confinement of hairpins that she had used to secure it, letting her hair fall down to her hips in a thick ponytail."Yessir, I am. I'm glad to make your acquaintance, Sir, but I was told to report to Colonel Khaine as soon as I could." Her eyes darted to the closed door of the ready room to see if there was anyone in the way when she made her way over to the door. "How about me scheduling you for a physical at 0930 tomorrow?" She knew better than most just how many of the crews HATED getting physicals. It was almost a tradition in the Marines, as well as the Navy, according to her twin brother, that the crew of a ship did almost anything to get out of having to get a physical.

He glanced at Hall when he made his comment that the boring part was getting to the destination required "It can be, sir It all depends if you have things to occupy your mind on the way there" He smiled a bit
He heard the TL doors open and he turned his attention to the woman that stepped out. He could see that her hair was silvery-white in color and reached the entire length of her back to her hips. When she reported in to Hall, he could see her eyes were a cool shade of Blue. Hall introduced her as Marine Captain Ariella 'Night Wing' K'Trevala, the new Chief Medical Officer "Welcome to the Tarawa, Ma'am. I'm the Tactical Officer, Lt Melvin Moon"

Col Kaine left orders she was not to be disturbed by anyone, report to your post she will call you when she is ready He replies
Ari said "How about me scheduling you for a physical at 0930 tomorrow?" He looked at her I just had a physical not long ago he says. But he didn't want the crew thinking they could give Ari a hard time over it I will be their 0930 tomorrow

Kasia notices the new CMO, she had just been given the heads up on this new officer....she signed...CMO's never lasted long on the Tarawa, and she had been running the sickbay by herself as head nurse....almost doctor for a long time now. She had about as much confidence in this CMO as she would trying to teach an old dog new tricks as the humans would say it.
Whatever species she was, nothing could compare with a trill who had 4 lifetimes of experience behind her. She sighed and went back to seeing patients. She didnt bother telling the doctor that they had already had a round of physicals in the past month.

At his response of "Col Kaine left orders she was not to be disturbed by anyone, report to your post, she will call you when she is ready," Ari just nodded with another smile. She could already feel how much the Colonel's leg was hurting. "Very well, Sir. That will be fine. I need to check out the sickbay anyway."
"I just had a physical not long ago... I will be there 0930 tomorrow."He told her. She could tell that he was already in near perfect health but being around so many other races She felt she needed to get a baseline of her own to make sure that she would not confuse one person's readings with another's on the ship. "I'll see you then, Sir." Her smiling eyes were warm and friendly for she intended to stay with this crew for the rest of her days.
She headed to Sickbay after saluting him and saw the look on Lt Kaz' face. She realized that she was going to be seen for a while as an interloper in the Head Nurse's private domain. "Lieutenant Kaz I believe? I read some of your dossier on my trip over here, Most Impressive!! So, for the time being, I'd like you to consider yourself not just as Head Nurse but also my AMO. After reading the experiences you've been through in your lifetimes, I may be asking you for advice and you to be taking lead in some surgeries, when my own talents will be devoted to other matters, like making sure that they stay here. My family was originally from the Minarian system before we were moved by the Vians when our sun was about ready to explode." She smiled to the head nurse before offering her hand. "I'm called Ari by my friends and co-workers, makes it easier in battlefield situations to be understood." She had been in a number of such situations before and found that the personal nickname to be clearer over the din of battle than most other appellations.
