She walks in and stands leaning against the bulkhead. "Computer state the scenario" Sandra listened and then pushed away from the bulkhead. She thought for a min.
I would send out a location beacon then I would contact the Raven. Informing them of my position and ask for assistance. In addition I would send out a second communication on all Starfleet channels alerting all ships in the vincity of the situation.
I would meet up with the freighter and using tractor beams alter her course and bring her further into federation space.
End program.......................

Satu looked at the programs directives and adjusted them slightly instead of a visit home she adjusted it so that she was returning from a vacation form Starfleet duty that she had devoted to studying the Bajoran Wormhole near DS 9. This allowed her to be herself in the simulation and not try to portray what a Bajoran would do which is what she perceived the scenario to be.
She then stepped into the Holodeck. ‘Computer begins simulation’. As the shuttle appeared around her she took her seat at the controls and looked them over to familiarize herself with them. They were the standard federation layout so it took practically no time what so ever to do.
She then flipped on the comm. Frequency to answer the distress call.
‘This is the USS Hatchling NCC 1023 Yeoman Satu T’keal in command. I am Changing heading to render assistance. Please be advised to strengthen your structural force fields as much as possible for my plan to work. This is Yeoman Satu signing off my next transmission to you will be in 5 minutes.’ She said this to them in a calm reassuring voice so as not to cause the humanoids to panic.
She then closes that frequency for transmission on her ship but monitors it as she opens one to the USS Raven. ‘This is Yeoman Satu T’keal on the USS Fledgling. In congruence with Federation statutes I am now altering my course to respond to a distress call by the Golden Fleece that has engine trouble and is currently drifting to the Cardassian Border. I will advise you with a new ETA as soon as a timetable can be established. Yeoman Satu T’keal out.’
As she closes that frequency she makes another communication to Deep Space 9. ‘This is Yeoman Satu T’keal on the USS Fledgling. In congruence with Federation statutes I am now altering my course to respond to a distress call by the Golden Fleece that has engine trouble and is currently drifting to the Cardassian Border. I am requesting a listing of any ships in the area that may be able to render assistance. Yeoman Satu T’keal out.’
She then sets that communications frequency to listen only as she attempts to hail the Cardassian union patrol vessels. ‘This Is Satu T’keal in command of the Federation ship Fledgling. The Federation is herby requesting your assistance in keeping the Merchant vessel Golden Fleece from crossing the border and remaining intact and uncultured. If you would care to assist in rendering aid to the Golden Fleece please return this hail. Satu T’keal out.’ She then sent that one to listen only as she reopened communications with The Raven, Golden Fleece, and DS 9. ‘This is Satu T’keal, Golden Fleece be advised I have requested assistance from the Cardassian Border patrol on humanitarian grounds. My ETA to your position is approximately five minutes. The plan is to use a diffused tractor beam to push your ship away from the border while my shuttle presses against yours to add its full engine capabilities to push your ship. I have relayed your request to Deep Space 9 and if my craft is insufficient to solve the problem I may be able to slow your momentum enough to allow for further assistance to reach you. How long will it be till your engineers can get your engines up and running?’
Satu waited for the reply and by that time she had the ship on visual. She maneuvered her shuttle in front of the ship and then spoke to them once more as she boosted her deflector fields and structural force fields to the maximum.
‘This is the Fledgling, Golden Fleece prepare to be pushed in 30 seconds please confirm you are ready to commence the operation. I am now initiating the tractor beam on wide angle to better distribute the force over your vessel.’
Satu boosted the Tractor beam to maximum power and used the power for the warp engines to garner the extra power. She then moved into .5 meters from the Golden Fleece and waited for their ready code. Once received she spoke once more
‘This is the fledgling commencing the impulse push Golden fleece monitor sheering levels and keep me advised I will do like wise.’
She then at minimum impulse power pressed her ship against the Golden Fleece to slow and reverse its momentum and put it on a course that would have it drift to Deep Space 9 through the normal shipping lanes. Giving them any changes in sheering readings on her vessel pushing it as much as she could but not over doing quotients to allow her own craft to break apart and explode destroying both crafts in the process.
After handing the Golden fleece off to the USS Defiant she docked with DS 9 and spent the night while her shuttle craft was recharged and gone over through a maintenance cycle to replace any blown or worn circuits before she headed out and once more started the three day trip to the USS Raven notifying them of when she would arrive.

She enters the holo suite and activates the computer. As the computer begins to give the details of the scenario she listens intently.
Computer begin scenario. I would begin with a series of transmissions. The first would be to inform the freighter that I received the distress call and was on route to render assistance. Following that I would then send another transmission to the Raven informing them of the situation and that I was on my way to render assistance. A third transmission would be sent to any ships in the area on all frequencies. A final transmission would be sent to the Cardiassian Union informing them of the problem the freighter was experiencing and that a Star Fleet ship was on way.
Following these transmissions, I would then send out a communication beacon to relay the situation and where the freighter was located.
Now, I would begin to prepare the tractors to push the freighter out of drifting range of the Cardiassian border. Once there, if an assessment shows it was impossible to push the frieghter, I would transport the cargo and anyone aboard to allow them to escape capture.
I would then send one final transmission to the Raven informing them of what actions I took, and my ETA.
end scenario.........................

Deborah Vasset walked in and activated the computer to state the parameters of the scenario. She listened intently and then smiled as the computer completed the outline.
"Computer begin scenario."
She is suddenly transported to the shuttle where a distress call arrives. She listens to it. Star fleet directives leave no choice in the matter the freighter must have assistance.
I would then send a transmission to the freighter that I was on my way, and to all Federation ships in the area telling them of the situation. I would also ask the freighter if there was anything else I should be aware of.
I would send a second transmission to the Raven telling them of the situation and that I would be late in returning.
A third transmission would be sent to the Cardiassian Union Fighters, telling them I was on my way to assist the freighter and would appreciate any assistance they could render. And that the freighter was a civilian ship, and disabled.
Once I arrived, I would attempt to tractor the freighter so it would not enter Cardiassian Union boarders. If that failed I would begin transport of first the crew and then any cargo if time permitted.
End scenario...............

"This is an easy one i would in fact help the vessel get away from the border and the patrol's and when i returned late i would tell them waht had happened and what i had done and if the CO felt i should be reprimanded then i will gladly take the punishment"

Lt Jr T'Lar walked into the holodeck. Stood in the middle of the holodeck as she listened to the scenario.
"I would send a message to USS Raven of the situation and ask for aide. I would send them the coordinates that the frieter and I are at. While waiting for their help, I would use the transporter beam to tow the frieghter out of the area. Meeting the USS Raven at a meeting point to help the frieghter with their engines and navigation."
She ended the program and walked out of the holodeck.

Marine Captain Quinn Troi walked into the holodeck and begun to listen to the scenario.
"I would contact USS Raven of the situation and relaying a message to the golden fleece that I'm on my way to help. Once there, I would use the tractor beam to tow the fleece out of the area. Once at a safe distance, I would help them with their navigation and engines. Once done, I head back to USS Raven."
She ends the program and walks out of the holodeck.

::begins the scenario:: Hmm...
I would tell the Raven that I would returning late. I then go to the place where the Golden Fleece is and use a tractor beam to bring them to a dock or starbase for repairs, I would then continue on to my shoreleave trip.

::Listens to senario calmly::
I would first contact the Raven and inform them of the situation. Then, I would set a course to intercept the Golden Fleece. Because the Golden Fleece was warned to get out of Cardassian space, I would be vigilant for any possibly hostile ships. If any should appear, I would inform them that the Golden Fleece is basically adrift and in need of assistance.
Otherwise, I would inform the Golden Fleece that I am coming to help them. When I intercept them, I would help them fix their engines and navigation; or if that is impossible, I would tractor the damaged ship out of Cardassian space until further help arrives to transport larger amounts of crew and/ or cargo.
::End senario::

I would send a distress signal to the Raven and explain the situation.Knowing the freighter drifting into Cardassian space could be considered an act of war I would use my tractor beams to try to pull the Freighter.If that failed I would try to nudge the freighter away from the border.If this failed I would hail the freighter and tell them to put the ship in selfdesruct mode.I would then transport the crew of the freighter and get clear of her destruction.I would hail any Cardassian ships and inform them of my intentions so they could also stay clear and hopefully diffuse the situation.

::Baccus walked into the holodeck and listened to the situation::
Computer, Begin Program
::Tyler would alter to an intercept course after sending a transmission requesting the Raven to come help. He knew that being from starfleet, the captain would of course understand the situation, and most likely be upset if he did not stop to render aid. Knowing that the shuttles tractor beam would not be strong enough to move the large freighter, he would used short tractor bursts at the front of the freighter, each time slightly altering the course of the freighter. He would keep doing so until the freighter was at least drifting parallel to the border. He would then stay with the freighter as a means of protection and hope to the freighters crew, as he had included in his transmission the coordinates, and requested that the raven render aid.::

I would alter course for a direct course toward the Golden Fleece. Once the course was set I send a message to command informing them of the situation and my intent. I would then contact the Golden Fleece and inform them that I have altered course.
I would also inform them that there is a chance that this could escalate the situation and that their cargo and the ship itself is not a priority, but that it is their life that I am attempting to secure safe passage. I would inform them to have the life rafts standing by and that if the Union Patrol vesicles engage in anyway to abandon the ship to them, giving me justification to enter Cardassian Space for a rescue mission of life rafts.
If the Union Patrol doesn’t engage then I once contact has been made transfer the crew to the shuttle and destroy the ship and its cargo. I am not about to give the Cardassians anything.

Being on a shuttle I would send a subspace message to the Raven letting them know the situation and ask them to hail any available ships to assist if possible.As I said earlier the chance of a shuttle towing the freighter trying to tow that big a ship would most likely overload the engines and endanger both ships.I would hail the freighter and tell them to be prepared to be transported to the shuttle.I would also tell them before they abandoned ship to set the computer to drop the warp core containment field in 3 minutes.I would hail the Cardassian ships and let them the warp core was about to go.This should back them off and destroy the freighter before it entered Cardassian space starting a war and causing mass confusion among the Cardassian ships.I would use this confusion to go to the shuttles max warp and escape with the crew.
