She worked on her wine a bit more “I’m guessing my brother didn’t have the biggest ‘fan club’ aboard.” She said with that damnable school girl smirk, and shrugged innocently “I’m usually the one with the ‘color reputation’…” that smirk still across her face.
"Your brother is one of my most trusted friends and confidants. His command style is a bit less relaxed than mine, I suppose. Be that as it may, I'm proud that he served under me." He paused. "You're an individual person. I'm sure people will see you that way and let you prove that you're your own person."
He opened the bag that he had, there was a bottle of scotch inside. He pulled a glass that was there."Scotch?"

Action Type: Time ElapseThe Terrasect continued fairly uneventfully to Indri Omega 3. Bridge crew are at stations, and Commander Stephen Neil, the soon-to-be head of the Oversight Committee to run the new colony, is also on the bridge. Terrasect is still at Slipstream, in approach to the colony. Note From CO: Please feel free to continue any RP associated with the Ceremony in Role Play Thread. Link Here.

He stood once again at the Tactical/Security area again. He picked up a PADD and looked over it and then put it back into place. His fingers ran over the console as he was checking it over and then he looked up and around the Bridge. "Security reports all is green and ready Sir."

Jim stood next to one of the science stations, speaking with Commander Neil regarding geological instabilities near the settlement. Ground breaking was well underway for the primary station headquarters, and makeshift Medical and Living Quarters were built near that. Because of the lack of the industrial replicators that the Terrasect were currently carrying, the construction process had been moving at a crawl.
Jim heard Mr. Zebdiel speak, "Security reports all is green and ready, Sir."
"Good. I'm going to need you to coordinate with Colony Security the additional security forces that will be joining them once we arrive. You will report to Commander Neil on any resources that are needed after you've beamed to the planet's surface."

Jadzia was at her post on the Bridge, re-working through several of her tactical simulations as she was trying to increase the target switching ability of the phaser array. She was also glad, that with the assistance of Lt. Samek, the structural integrity fields had held during transit and they had safely arrived at their destination, it wouldn’t be long and they’d be in orbit.
Although nothing tactically pressing was at hand, she did feel it necessary to inform Captain Harsting “Sir, the S.I. Fields are holding, and we’ve not had any issues since the power transfer. We can start transporting down the equipment as soon as we’re in orbit; just let me know what you want down first.” She keyed a few additional codes into the tactical array, and scratched just behind her right ear with a ‘hrmm…’ expression as she reviewed the simulation information; her very light color skin contrasting heavily with her night black hair.

Jim nodded as Jadzia mentioned the SIF and then the beaming down. "Understood." He then looked to Grabfoot. "Drop us to Warp 9.9. Once we enter the system, have helm reduce to standard approach and assume a low-standard orbit over the outpost. Commander Neil and I will be in my ready room getting fully briefed on the updates sent from the colony."
There, he headed to the Ready Room, Commander Neil following.

Samek stood at the engineering station on the bridge, having customized the console for various needs. Hearing the Captain's order for reduced speeds, he understood instantly why. With the EPS system straining to maintain SIF at that high of warp, it was draining systems like the Transporters slightly. When trying to transport massive items, such as Industrial Replicators, it would put a strain on the EPS taps, which might blow a few relays.
Samek looked to Commander Grab-Foot. "Engineering reports all systems nominal, though our EPS system is under considerable strain. Once we reduce warp, we will be able to allow a cooldown of the EPS Taps. We will be ready for Transport once we arrive at the colony." He then returned to looking at his console, rerouting EPS flow as needed.

He listened to the reports that came in then turned to Jim as he started to speak to him "Drop us to Warp 9.9. Once we enter the system, have helm reduce to standard approach and assume a low-standard orbit over the outpost. Commander Neil and I will be in my ready room getting fully briefed on the updates sent from the colony."
He gave a nod when the Captain had ordered the reduction in speed and watched as he and the other Commander stepped into the ready room. He then turned to Burford "Reduce Speed to warp 9.9." he was sure he didn't need to order that as Buford had likely heard the Captain when he told him to reduce speed "Slow to Full Impulse once we enter the sytem then assume a low standard orbit once we reach the outpost"
He turned as Lt Samek spoke up "Engineering reports all systems nominal, though our EPS system is under considerable strain. Once we reduce warp, we will be able to allow a cooldown of the EPS Taps. We will be ready for Transport once we arrive at the colony."
"Acknowledged, Lt. Now that we've reduced speed, we can let the EPS systems to relax some. I am sure they've been stressed enough for one mission

Hearing the Captain's orders he replied "Yes Sir." and turned to walk into the Turbo Lift as he was getting ready to transport down when they arrive. After he stepped out of the Turbo Lift he headed to the Transporter Room and gathered up all his stuff that he normally would take on an away mission. He felt that something like a phaser was not needed but he took and looked it over to make sure it was on stun and that it was working as it should. He knew he was a little early in doing this but if something came up then it would all ready be done. He sneezed and wondered if he might have caught some kind of bug from when he was getting his physical done. He informs his teams to get ready, He felt that Commander Neil was an important person and did not want to do anything that would mess it up for everyone.

Jim sat down, looking to the Commander. "Have a seat."
"Thank you, sir. When we arrive, I was thinking that we could transport the personnel in stages. First, security, then engineers, then medical and civilian personnel. The colony is still in disarray, there barely being enough housing as it is." He paused. "With these replicators, we should be able to get underway creating preform housing."
Jim nodded. "I'll see to it that you have every resource available. There are quite a few fusion generators we'll be sending down to expedite the creation of the colony. There's also 500 food replicators that are aboard as well."
Stephen nodded. "Good, the engineering teams, according to the communiques, have ran into quite a few issues capturing geothermic energy. It seems the planet's interior is quite cool compared to most Class M worlds. My liason has also brought to my attention that we will probably need to install a seismic regulation grid around the colony."
Nodding, Jim stated. "I'll have Samek work with your engineers. We should get the grid online before we start mass construction." He pressed a button on his console. "Mr. Samek, please come to my Ready Room."
"Understood, Captain."

Samek was in engineering, preparing to increase the flow rate of the coolant system through the EPS grid though the system was now nearly at idle, when he recieved a summons from the Captain.
"Understood, Captain." He replied, then looking to a Lieutenant Junior Grade. "Mr. Samson, please see to the accelerated cooldown of the EPS system. Watch the flowrate, we do not want to cooldown the system too quick and blow half of the relays on this deck, or crack any of the EPS lines."
At that, Samek left engineering, emerging onto the bridge only a minute later. He pressed then the chime for the Captain's Ready Room.

Jim looked up, having still been going over coordination efforts with Commander Neil. "Come."
As Samek entered, Jim nodded to him. "Lieutenant, after we beam the materials and personnel down to the colony site, I want you to begin drawing up plans for seismic regulators to be shot from orbit into the planet's crust around the colony. You'll need to work with Lt. Grant. You can bring her up to speed after the beam down."
