Location: Main Bridge; Tactical Station
Jadzia worked her console, finally getting the minute adjustments correct to where she wanted them. She worked a couple firing patterns into the system as well, and programmed several torpedo spreads and phaser frequencies into the mix. Her petite mouth smirked, as she felt pretty good with herself.
She listened as the Bridge Officers gave out their orders, and she silently went about completing her task/s. The shielding wasn’t an issue, just like she first believed, but the structural integrity fields in the storage areas were at their max. She ran a few simulations through her tactical station, and didn’t like what she saw. Although no emanate danger was there, a power shortage of any magnitude or hard flying could overload several of the field arrays.
“Commander,” she said, looking up from her station towards Grabfoot “tests show that we may have a few problems in the Cargo Bays with our structural integrity fields with all this weight we’re carrying; request permission to go take a look personally.” She keyed a few more commands into the console, and waived her night black hair back out of her face again, tucking it behind her ears.

He heard Buford start to hum and then sing another song and his whiskers twitched in annoyance. He then shook his head and tried to ignore the strange song(s) that he sings, and focus more on the tasks that should be done
He heard his report that the Navigational sensors were "working fine" and he gave a slight nod. A couple moment later, he heard a voice from behind him address him and he turned to look at Grant's sibling. He thought she was a fair sight better to look at then her brother, but then again, she is a Grant, a name that has been a thorn in his side, or a burr in his tail, since he met the male Grant
He focused on what she was saying/reporting “tests show that we may have a few problems in the Cargo Bays with our structural integrity fields with all this weight we're carrying; request permission to go take a look personally.”
He pondered that for a few moments. She is the new Tactical officer and for her to be off the bridge in case of an attack, that would put the whole ship at risk , not just a couple structural Integrity Fields in the Cargo Bay, but then he is still a very capable Tactical Officer himself, just because he has became a first officer, he is still a Tactical Officer at heart
He gave her a nod "Grrannted" he told her, then added "I would ssuggesst callinng Ennginnerring annd have sommonne frromm therre to assisst you with that prroblemm"
He waited to hear her comment/opinion to his suggestion, if she had one

She heard his order to monitor and scan the Klingon corridor. She would have done that anyways and had a feeling why he felt it necessary to say it.

After the meeting, Samek moved quickly out onto the bridge, taking up his station. He monitored through launch all of the engineering systems, which seemed to be working at or above specifications. He noticed some slight power fluctuations in the Structural Integrity Relays surrounding the cargo bays. Just as he was about to mention this, he hear Lt. Grant speak up regarding it. Samek then heard the Commander refer to asking an engineer down to the cargo bays with her.
"I will accompany the Lieutenant. There were several changes to the power routes in those sections during the refit, as well as several bypasses that were installed which might require more than one individual inspecting for an accurate diagnostic. I would not recommend engaging the Slipstream Drive until we ascertain whether or not we can stabilize and increase the power throughput of the Structural Integrity Fields in those areas."

Grab Foot looked from Lt Grant, to Lt M'Leezz then to Lt Samek as they reported in, Samek explaining that he would go with Grant to assist her in the inspecting, fixing and maybe re-routing some power in the Structual Integrity Fields around the Carg Bay

Jim stepped out of the Turbolift when it arrived on Deck 3. Glancing about, he noted that "new ship smell" from the refurbished deck. He stepped around and entered Tog's Restaraunt, glancing about. "Mr. Tog." He called while glancing about.

He looked at the Tactical Officer and was about to introduce himself to her when he heard the Doctor calling him to report to Sickbay for a physical. "Ggrrr" He tapped his combadge. "On my way Doctor." He looked again at the Tactical Officer thinking that Doctors do have a way of interfering. "Excuse me Madam." He turned and walked to the Turbo Lift. "Sickbay." He stated watching the doors close. He wondered if his first quality time with her would be in combat instead of being alone. He steps out of the Turbo Lift when it reached the deck and enters Sickbay.
Location: Sickbay
He did not know who was the Doctor or who was the one that called for him. "Ensign Zebdiel reporting as order." He stated in mid air wondering who would reply back.

He replied, and she smiled. “Of course, after you…” she motioned towards the turbo lift. Since they were all leaving the Bridge, they might as well share the lift.
“Cargo Bay 2.” Replied Lt. Grant, and the lift took off, stopping for a moment to let the CSEC off, then continuing on towards the Cargo Bays.

"I'm sure you are... How are the preparations coming?" He said, looking suspiciously around like he was expecting two dabo girls walking around in next to no cloths or something of the sort. |

"During the Terrasect's last refit, we discovered micro-fractures in the Ablative Armor and underlying hull around our phaser systems. The Starbase Engineering Corps Commander and I tracked the problem to the actual phaser banks not sufficently cooling because the systems were upgraded to increase power output for which the equipment was not designed. We boosted the Structural Integrity Fields directly around the phaser banks to correct for the problem by syphoning the heat from phasers and coverting it into electrical energy and shunting it into the Structural Integrity Field Generators." He paused for a moment, bidding the Security Chief farewell as he departed to sickbay. "Perhaps we can draw more heat energy directly from the EPS systems running through the cargo bays to shore up the field generators in those locations? Also, there are transporter and replication systems we can route power from, since this is a temporary issue." Just as he finished talking, the Turbolift opened, them just outside the Cargo Bay. Tog looked at the Captain as he replied "We'll pass. Besides the caterers and yourself, there are only to be Starfleet Personnel here during this ceremony, per the original instructions. We'll be starting the ceremony at 1700 hours. Computer, Time?"
