Jadzia listened as Captain Harsting gave details regarding their upcoming mission; from what she gathered it was what the Terrasect was originally doing all those weeks before the ‘incident’ happened. The horrors of those few days still haunted her dreams, but she mentally shook them out and listened to the briefing.
She knew no one aboard, none of the officers that were there with her, she felt alone. The only person she felt she knew, was the Captain, and that she found interesting. She’d hacked into some of her brothers personal logs, and his view of Captain Harsting was high to say the least; he credited him on numerous occasions for acting as a tutor and as an idol. It was his high praises, and the high regards that the crew of the Terrasect held for him, that made her request to be relieved of her other duties and become stationed on The Terrasect to serve under him.
As Captain Harsting turned to look at her, her gaze never flinched. "Lieutenant, I will need you to make sure the shielding and structural integrity fields are at full capacity. I objected to having this much mass on the Terrasect at once, but technically, the space frame should be able to handle it. Just watch it.”
She nodded sharply “Aye Sir.” Jadzia glanced down to the PADD she had with her, and made a few notations for her regarding what was needed. "Alright. After we get under way, there will be a promotion ceremony in Three Forward. If there is nothing else, dismissed and take your stations."
She waited until the rest of the staff had stood up, then followed, insuring she was the last to leave the room (with the exception of Captain Harsting, unless he stayed in the room); a habit from her tactical days. She then returned to her Tactical Station and began keying through some system tests and completing the configuring she was doing prior to the meeting.
After a few tests, she had concluded two things regarding her assignment. The first, being the shielding, as it be no trouble to insure the shielding in the affected areas; the Terrasect produced enough ‘extra’ power to reinforce several shielding sections. The second, that being the structural integrity fields, was a bit more complicated, as they were only as powerful as the capacitor arrays they are near.

Jim walked down the steps and out of the Observation Lounge, heading then around the Tactical Rise to the captain's chair. "Operations, get clearance to disembark."
He paused. "Clear all moorings, all systems at station-keeping. Clear the docking bridge of all personnel, seal all hatches." He then looked to Grabfoot. "Once we get the go from Starbase, take us out Commander."

When the meeting ended she got up and went to her console. After entering her code the console lit up, she started to make minor adjustments for her comfort. She ran a diagnostic to make use everything was running at full efficiency. It wasn't that she distrusted engineers, on the contrary.
She wanted the extra peace of mind in knowing that it was running at full efficiency. Once the diagnostic was completed she wrote her report and sent it:
Star date 65598.22
To: Captain James Harsting Cmdr Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns Re: Operations station
Operations console and systems are running at full efficiency and the minor adjustments have been made that were necessary.
Lt m'Leezz Operations officer USS Terrasect NCC 70000
A few minutes later she received the order to get clearance to disembark. "Aye Sir." She established an open channel with station operations.
"Station 234 this is Terasect NCC 70000 requesting permission to disembark." She waited a moment.
"Sir, we have permission to disembark in 90 seconds, and to delay warp until we reach the shipping lanes. They wish us well and a safe return."
"Operations reporting all systems on line and energy flows are normal." She then opened a channel for general comm flow.

He turned to sit down in the seat next to the Captain, where the First Officer is supposed to sit and thought it was just as comfortable as the Captain's chair. He could grow to like sitting in it. It was better then standing at the Tactical station his whole shift, he thought with amusement
When M'Leezz took her station, he turned his attention to her and merely watched as she performed a diagnostic and pre-mission check-list. A moment later, he received her report and he nodded approvingly
A few minutes Later, Captain Harsting came out of the Observation Lounge and started giving orders to get underway. As M'Leezz contacted the Star Base to get clearance to depart, he heard the Captain speak to him "Once we get the go from Starbase, take us out Commander."
He turned to Harsting, and gave him a nod "Yess, Ccaptainn" then he turned to Helm as he heard M'Leezz report that Clearance has been given to depart
"Bacck Uss off, onne-quarrterr Immpulsse. Onnce we arre clearr of the Starr basse, annd inn the sshippinng llanness, Set Courrsse for Indrri Ommega 3, warrp 9" he then gave a questioning glance to Captain Harsting to see if that was the best speed to implement

After the Captain dismissed everyone he walked out of the Observation Lounge and walked straight into the Turbo Lift. "Gym" He stated and as the Turbo Lift took off he tapped his combadge. "All Security report to the Gym now." He stepped off the Turbo Lift and walked into the Gym.
Location: Gym
To his surprise there were all ready some of his men there practicing hand to hand combat. He watched for a moment as he waited for the others to arrive and then called everyone's attention. "We will be going through Klingon Space to Indri Omega 3 in the Beta Quadrant. Starfleet has agreed to administer the construction phase of colony with assurance that a scientific orbital Starbase may be placed in orbit of Indri Omega 3's third moon within the next 15 years. We have taken on nearly 1,000 persons for this mission, including 500 civilians, several of which are construction crews, scientists, and their families. We also took on an additional 100 marines and a Naval Commander, one Commander Stephen Neil, who will be taking over overseeing the establishment of the colony, and will act like a liaison to the Terrasect. Also going are nearly 400 other Starfleet personnel and their families who are going to be assisting the civilian population. The Captain does not want any unauthorized personnel near them. Is this understood and are there any questions?" He paused for a moment and answered a couple of questions. We are all ready on our way there so if there is nothing else then dismiss and get started." He stood there and watched them leave. He was not sure if anyone might wanted to talk to him in private or not. After they left he too left and headed back to the Bridge. Two things interested him there. That Tactical Officer he briefly met and he wanted to take another look at the station and Bridge.
Location: Bridge
As he stepped upon the Bridge he reported in. "Security has been notified of our mission and have taken their places." He walked over to the Tactical Station and said nothing to her. He did not want her to feel he was being rude by interrupting her as she worked. He looked at the console that mostly dealt with Security then Tactical.

Buford hears M'Leezz say the ship was cleared to leave in 90 seconds, he thought she does have a nice purr.
His tail wags as he hears Grab Foot say "Bacck Uss off, onne-quarrterr Immpulsse. Onnce we arre clearr of the Starr basse, annd inn the sshippinng llanness, Set Courrsse for Indrri Ommega 3, warrp 9" his will take time Buford thinks "Yes Sir"
He backs the ship from the station, increases to 1/4 impulse and heads to the shipping lanes, entering the shipping lanes he sets the the course for Indri Omega 3 at warp 9 "Course and speed set ready on your Mark"

As they start to leave she looks out the VP then back at her console. She made a few adjustments for the volume of the chatter as it was picked up.
She then watched carefully for how the energy movement to the various consoles and departments. Thus ensuring each one had the proper energy and its flow. She made one minor adjustment to the energy in a cargo bay.

He merely watches as Buford expertly glides the Terrasect out from it's docking ring, pivet the ship around, and increases to 1/4 Impulse out to the shipping lanes
He tapped a key on his armrest and the Main screen went to a rear view, to watch as Star base increasingly got smaller
He then heard Buford's report: "Course and speed set. Ready on your Mark"
He gave a slight nod toward the View Screen then switched the view back to the front "Enngage" he simply said and watches as the stars became a blur as the ship went into warp

He engages the Warp the stars blur when the ship jumped into warp "We are at Warp 9" he keeps an eye on the Nav System
Buford starts huming a song then sings it I met him in a hospital about a year ago And why i still remember him i guess i'll never know He'd lie there and cry out in a medicated fog, "here i am in this dang bed and who's gonna feed them hogs?"
"four hundred hogs, they just standin' out there My wife can't feed 'em and my neighbors don't care They can't get out and roam around like my old huntin' dogs Here i am in this dang bed and who's gonna feed them hogs?"
His face was lean and his hands were rough His way was hogs and his nature was tough His doctors tried to tell him that he may not live at all But all he ever talked about was who's gonna feed them hogs
"four hundred hogs, they just standin' out there My wife can't feed 'em and my neighbors don't care They can't get out and roam around like my old huntin' dogs Here i am in this dang bed and who's gonna feed them hogs?"
Four hundred hogs comes to eight hundred hams And that's a lot of money for a hog-raisin' man Four hundred hogs comes to sixteen hundred feet The market's up and there are people a-waitin' on that meat
Well, the doctors say they do not know what saved the man from death But in a few days he put on his overalls and he left That's all there is to this small song but waitress, before you leave, Would you bring me some coffee and a hot ham sandwich, please?
Four hundred hogs they're just standing out there His wife couldn't feed 'em and his neighbors didn't care They couldn't get out and roam around like his old huntin' dogs...

Jim looked to Grabfoot. "I want you to have all stations run power diagnostics while at standard warp. Once we enter Klingon Space, map the corridor, and if all diagnostics prove stable, increase Warp to Transwarp 15."
He stood then. "I'll be in Three Forward. I want to make sure Mr. Tog has everything ready with no... surprises. You have the Bridge, Mr. Of Two Dawns."
He then started towards the forward turbolift. He tapped his badge along the way. "Harsting to Tog, I am heading to your bar."

He heard Buford start to hum a song then start singing it. He looked up at the canine officer, not able to recognize the song. He then clapped his ears down against his head, thinking that if he wanted to hear a song, he would have gotten a Eeiauoan Bard
He was about to say something to Buford when the Captain started speaking to him. He turned his eyes on him, raising his ears so he could hear his instructions "I want you to have all stations run power diagnostics while at standard warp. Once we enter Klingon Space, map the corridor, and if all diagnostics prove stable, increase Warp to Transwarp 15."
"Yess, Ssir" he would say before Jim stood and added "I'll be in Three Forward. I want to make sure Mr. Tog has everything ready with no... surprises. You have the Bridge, Mr. Of Two Dawns."
He cringed a bit when Harsting called him "Mr. Of~Two Dawns" that just sounded a bit.. odd to him. Commander or Mr. Grab Foot would be much better "Aye, sir" He could comment again when Harsting said that he had the bridge, then he looked amused "Knnowinng Mrr. Rrodeennt Earrss, He iss capablle of annythinng" He tail spiraled as his amusement rose
As Harsting headed for the Turbo Lift, he called Tog to let him know he was on his way, he ordered "All Sstationnss, runn a diagnnosstic of yourr sstionnss and rreporrt yourr finndinngss" The computer automatically relaying his voice to the rest of the ship, not just the bridge
He then turned to M'Leezz "Onnce we ennterr Klinngonn sspacce, pleasse runn ssennssor ssweepss and beginn mmappinng the corridorr"
He knew she would have heard the Captain tell him that's what he wanted done but he relayed the order, knowing it was a chance to talk to M'Leezz, even if it was an order

Grab Foot replies "Yess, Ssir" Then the Captain said he be in three forward the he called Grab Foot Mr. Of Two Dawns
Grab Foot said "Knnowinng Mrr. Rrodeennt Earrss, He iss capablle of annythinng" Buford's tail wagged at the comment
The Grab Foot asked "All Sstationnss, runn a doagnnosstic of yourr sstionnss and rreporrt yourr finndinngss" to the bridge and the ship
Buford started the diagnostics when he heard the Captain tell him "Running Now Sir" he replies
he then hears Grab Foot relay the orders to M'Leezz, Buford starts Humming

Immediately after the meeting she smiled at everyone and went directly to sickbay. There was still a few things to do before they left.
Once she reached sickbay she grabbed her coat and put it on.
"Alright everyone, we'll be leaving soon. Secure all med supplies, run a final check on med equiptment." She went into the medical lab and made sure all everything was secure. Then went into out and helped to finish securing sickbay.
Once they were underway she sent a message to both m'Leezz's and Zebdiel, quarters that they should report for a physical ASAP.

He starts humming again his tail Wags
Tried to amend my carnivorous habits Made it nearly seventy days Losin' weight without speed, eatin' sunflower seeds Drinkin' lots of carrot juice and soakin' up rays
But at night i'd had these wonderful dreams Some kind of sensuous treat Not zuchinni, fettucini or bulghar wheat But a big warm bun and a huge hunk of meat
Cheeseburger in paradise Heaven on earth with an onion slice Not too particular not too precise I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise
Heard about the old time sailor men They eat the same thing again and again Warm beer and bread they said could raise the dead Well it reminds me of the menu at a holiday inn
Times have changed for sailors these days When i'm in port i get what i need Not just havanas or bananas or daiquiris But that american creation on which i feed
Cheeseburger in paradise Medium rare with mustard 'be nice Heaven on earth with an onion slice I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise
I like mine with lettuce and tomato Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer Well good god almighty which way do i steer for my
Cheeseburger in paradise Makin' the best of every virtue and vice Worth every damn bit of sacrifice To get a cheeseburger in paradise To be a cheeseburger in paradise I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise
