After the 'meeting' adjourned, he left the Captain's ready Room not in a very pleasant mood. His leave had been interrupted and he was trying to get some much needed rest, over something little as to finding a dead body
On Sivao, dead bodies were pretty common, especially after a hunt, whether the hunted isn't always the animals that are being hunted. Sometimes, the hunter ended up being the hunted
He entered a TL and waited for Kiele. He heard the General tell her to investigate the crime scene, along with London, before he Andrus and charlie removed the body to take to sickbay. Course, for that job, he could have done it himself

There was an eerie cast to things as they entered the shuttle bay. The body had been covered but it stood out starkly, adding to the ghostly feel of the half-stripped ship. Unnecessarily, Kiele tiptoed closer. She felt the others at her back, keeping a lookout but there was obviously nothing left here that might be a danger to them. She held her breath as she lifted the silver blanket to examine the body. It looked just as the XO had said. It was if the tech had been at his work a moment earlier and then suddenly was dead. No signs of trauma. No blood, no bruising. Nothing disturbed either in the immediate area. Nothing that might indicate a struggle had taken place. She didn't want to touch the body for two reasons. She did not want to contaminate any remaining physical evidence and she did not want to pick up any possible contaminants herself. The tech might have died of something that remained active after death, a poison perhaps or a virus. She re-covered the body.
"We need to make sure everything here is well documented before we move the body to Sickbay. Does anyone have a medical tricorder? Yes, I know, it isn't considered accurate for those who are ..deceased, but we should at least be able to obtain a baseline reading for later comparison."

He entered the shuttle bay behind Kiele, the scent of death heavy in the air. That came natural after something or someone died. He walked over as Kiele tip-toed over. He couldn't help but think she maybe scared that the dead body would jump out and scare her. He thought about scaring her from behind but then he didn't want to have two bodies on his hands
As Kiele lifted the cloth that was over the body, he peered over her shoulder to look, ears tilting forward. No blood, no trauma, no sign of a struggle, no nothing. Most peculiar, he thought
He stepped back as Kiele re-covered the body "We need to make sure everything here is well documented before we move the body to Sickbay. Does anyone have a medical tricorder? Yes, I know, it isn't considered accurate for those who are ..deceased, but we should at least be able to obtain a baseline reading for later comparison."
He shook his head as he didn't have a medical tricorder handy "I do not have a medical tricorder, nor do I think I am qualified to carry one. Perhaps he died of natural causes?" He theorized

"I don't think so. The playing card that was left was meant to convey a message but I have no idea what it was supposed to be."
Kiele moved a little away from the body. This was not the proper place to conduct a thorough investigation.
"I think we should transport the body directly to Sickbay. Are the systems still activated?"

He shook his head "The playing card means nothing to me"
He watches as she stepped back further
"I think we should transport the body directly to Sickbay. Are the systems still activated?"
"One way to find out." he took off his comm badge and tossed it onto the sheet where the techs chest is "Computer, transport the body in the vicinity of my comm badge to sickbay. Medical Emergency"

Kiele watched the body dematerialize.
"Well that answers that. However, we don't know how much of Sickbay is left. I'd better get over there and make sure the body arrived safely and retrieve your comm badge..after properly disinfecting it of course."
She gave them a small smile and headed out.

Tarkel Enters the Cargo bay rather familier with the scent, feel and presence of death for the elements know death had been among him all the days of his life. Stalking and always updating itsself always reaching for new ways to finish the job it had started the day he was born. casting a comforting but hardset look at the others around him namely Supportively flashing The counsilor a set of fangs in a smile, stooping low over the dead man. slowly clearing his lungs in an exhalation of finality before placing a hand over the silvery death schroud nothing remained mysterious for a Reman long and this was one set back on the way to greatness that was not needed. muttering to himself briefly images to many and to far away to recall just yet flood his mind before the body is transported to sickbay for god only knows what array of disgusting experimentation he can be heard whispering almost as if matra" Ial Cala Llaihr Khall'ianen " a few sharp times under his breath the words fading from his concious mind. Standing as the site to site is initiated and the mess further evaluated. shaking his head and examining the room for clues trace evidence or any sign of the attacker.

Fetch Storm observed London going over to touch the corpse after he and Kiele observed it and heard his chanting. His ears tilted forward as he wondered what he was doing.
He then shook his head, not caring what he was doing. Perhaps he was trying to bond with it? Who knows with him
After initiating site to site transport to sickbay, and with a whisker and a tail twitch, he turned and followed Kiele, and Charlie, to Sickbay to see if they needed any more help

"well on to sickbay then " collecting himself neatly as if the little episode nad not even occured promptly following the others in evaluating the crime scene.

Two things Kiele could determine with some degree of certainty was that this was a contact poison, absorbed through the skin, and that the victims were chosen; otherwise the poison could have been left on any surface likely to be touched. She still couldn't see however, why these two had been chosen. It was possible there was no pattern, just that they were unlucky enough to be in the right place at precisely the wrong time. No one had yet found any trace of the killer either. She sighed and sat down, hugging her shoulders in thought as she waited for the lab results, and without noticing, soon drifted into a light sleep.

The first man was easy the poison was quick acting and there was no one around to hear the sound of his body falling. It was a sloppy kill and Bren was embarrassed by it. He had been hiding in that shuttle for days and the hunger for the kill had overtaken him. The cloaking device was only an enhancement. He was the cloak, his movement, to become one with the environment. The second kill he was more restrained. It took a lot of effort to not just strangle the woman but he restrained himself. He felt the beautiful fear. It didn't last long as she died quickly, but she knew her fate. She wanted to struggle to scream, but the poison did its work well. He looked over the sleeping body of she who had killed his comrades. She thought she slept silently, but to his ears it was as if she snorting. It would be so easy to stop her arrogant restful sleep, but that would be too easy, that would be to merciful. He wanted her to know why she would die, to see it coming. He put his package on her night stand. They had not found his latest body and he wanted to be sure they were looking. This one he let linger longer. To hear the fear, to smell the fear, to savor her last gasps of air. The murderess would suffer so much more so much more.

As he walks through the ship headed to sickbay to give boomer a tricorder adjusted to be a micro tachyon emitters he taps his comm "LT Greathouse to the General we have started the search, Ma'am is their no way the internal sensors can sweep the ship?"
He watches his tricorder as he hopes they find the killer soon, entering Sickbay he finds Boomer near the door "Boomer here take this its believed our killer is cloaked keep a contestant scan in here"
"Yes Sir" Boomer takes the Tricorder and starts scanning "You think the killer will come into sickbay?"
"Its possibly these were nobody so they might come here easy kills seems the killer is randomly picking victims" Charlie says
"And to be honest with the killer cloaked I don't want take any chances Kiele or you will become victims" Charlie looks over at Kiele
"She is sleeping sir" Boomer says "Hawks on his away to help, theirs something familiar about this style of killing nobodies" Charlie replies

Kiele opened her eyes and stretched, glancing at the time. Half an hour had passed. She rubbed her face, trying to force an alertness she didn't feel. It was then that she noticed the small box that had been left on the instrument stand next to the nearest biobed.
Who had been here and why hadn't she noticed? She picked up it gingerly. It weighed maybe an ounce or two. She gave it a small shake. Gift from a secret admirer? She laughed and undid the flaps. What she saw next caused her blood to run instantly cold. It was a human ear, neatly severed.
She tapped her comm. "Major Shackleford. Lieutenant Greathouse, I need to see you both in Sickbay immediately." There was the slightest tremor in her voice and hand as she secured the doors and began a visual sweep of the room.
