He listened as Charlie started talking about Beth's brown eyes and her now blonde-colored head fur when it used to be brown, then mentioned that her parents did not wish her to join the Marines. He wouldn't either but he cared little of all that. What he did care for is he getting to the point.

What caught his attention most was when he mentioned that he doesn't live in fear of pain and anguish, which in his mind, he was insinuating that he did live in fear "I do not live in fear of more pain or death. I have learned to be more cautious as I travel the path of life and if that means not getting to know people to call them friends then that is a lesson that comes with not getting to know other people."

She listened closely as the two debated how losing a friend causes pain and how the each decided to handle it differently.

"Thank you for the compliments Charlie you are a good friend.I can see both of your points of view but Fetch Storm Del taught me how Klingon's think about losing friends and family."


"They sing songs about those lost and tell grand tales of their lives.Again I am not telling you how to live I am just giving you my point of view,If you gave people the chance to get close to you it might make your life not so lonely."

He turned back toward Beth as she kept speaking about she is not trying to tell him how to live. He understand that but he chose not to comment "We both learned information about Klingons when Del'Kara was aboard. Klingons are very much like Sivaoans. I am allowing the chance for people to befriend me, as I am sitting here speaking with you and Charlie instead of spending time alone on my quarters." He took another, long drink of his own drink

"Marine or Navy it does not matter friends are friends and we all have the same common goal.That is to make sure the Pegasus stays safe so we can accomplish our missions successfully."

Finishing her beer,"Listen to me I sound like a philosopher.Well I guess we all have a little of wisdom we can share with each other."

As she listened to Fetch Storm and Charlie talk more about friendship and wisdom she ordered another beer.Taking a drink she looked at the two."I am famished how is the food on the new Pegasus?"

He looks at Beth "The food is great on the new Peg, You want eat bar food or go to the dinning hall?" he then looks at both

Smiling."Why don't we try the dining room I would love to see what it looks like now.Care to join us Fetch Storm?"

Personally, I would hunt for my food but that is difficult to do on this vessel, plus the exercise would do me good"

Beth asked him if he wanted to join her and charlie, "Yes, I will join you" He said, starting to enjoy Beth's company

"That's good" he says to Fetch Storm as he stands up then pulls Beth's chair out so Beth can stand up "the new Dinning hall is bigger and more food to choose from" he tells Beth

Smiling that she still had friends on the Pegasus and was making more.

He smiles "Right this way, the Dinning hall is located differently than the old Peg" he says as he leads they way for Beth

His whiskers twitched a bit as he saw charlie helping Beth to her feet. Anything for a female, he thought to self then walked with them out of the lounge and toward the dining hall

He moved ahead of them as he noticed charlie paying more attention to beth then to him. He didn't care. He knew charlie liked her and she liked him. He took his mind off that and thought about what he is going to order
