He sat in his quarters reading more information about Romulans. The data was a little vague but it was better than nothing. He looked up the word for beautiful.
As he did he dropped his PADD.He picked it up and pronounced the word on the PADD.Fvadt.He burst out laughing when he realized when the PADD had dropped it had skipped to curses.
"Well I can use that anyway on the marines.....and others."

He got a book he had been studying from the ships library called Romulan culture and phrases. It had a lot to be desired but it was a start.
Remembering Deborah's questions he walked down to her quarters and rang the chime maybe she would find the book interesting.

As he entered her quarters,"Hey Deb I hope this is not bad time but I found this Data Book in the ships library."He handed her the book PADD titled Romulan Culture and useful phrases.
"You sounded pretty interested the other night so I thought you might like to read this."

He said he couldn't stay and left for his quarters.

Standing in his room, he thinks back to Deb's comment about there being more Hunter's stew in her quarters, and the Lounge not having the same something, he looks at his reflection in the mirror, straightening his tunic.
Exiting his quarters, he makes his way to her quarters, and rings the chimes.

Not getting a responce, he debates for a few moments, then tries the chimes one more time.
"I hope I am not being too forward," he mutters to himself, draping his long frame against the wall. "I think I read her right."

Hearing the chimes she walked to the door and smiled as Drayce walked in. She kissed him briefly then took his hand and lead him to the table.
"Dinner will be ready in a minute. I was waiting for ya. I noticed how much you enjoyed the hunters stew the last time you were here. I made sure their would be enough."
She walked over and got the large serving bowl of stew and put it in the center of the table. She served him the first bowl and then sat down to eat herself.
"That was some mission you were on. You sounded so excited. Its good to feel that way sometimes."

Looking between the stew and her face, a little undecided which he'd rather enjoy more, he finally compromised by watching her, and attempting to blindly eat the stew. The sthingy scooping several inches outside the bowl, and bringing a small choke when he attempts to swallow air.
"It was. But, I'm much happier to be back here. At least here I don't have to make the hard decision of which am I going to think about all the time. I have time to think about both things which get my mind stimulated." He breaks off in another cough and finally looks down at his stew. The front of his shirt having recieved the last managed sthingyful, instead of his mouth.
"Though, if I keep this up, I'm not sure you'll concider me worth anything. I promise I'm house broke!" He smiled at her, the boyish nietivity showing through the lopsided half grin of his, as he begins mopping the stew off his front.
Once he'd managed to get his tunic a little cleaner, he turns most of his attention to his food, and begins eating in earnest, listening to the sounds around him, and the dulcet cadence of Deb's voice.

Watching him eat she laughed softly.
"You best be watching where your placing your sthingy. Before everyone knows you've had hunters stew."
"I'm glad your back it was not the same here with ya gone."

Looking down at his shirt, and shrugging a little.
"I think it's a little late to hide the fact I've had some of your stew. I did kind of make a mess. "
He looks at her, the expression in his eyes softens a little, "I'm actually glad to be back. And, a welcome like this almost made it worth being gone for a while. Thank you. I missed this ship. It has all ready become as much home as my parent's ship."

While he spoke she got a moist cloth, then smiled at him and began to clean up the mess he made.
"I'm glad you feel so comfortable here. I know I'm glad your here." she leaned over and kissed his cheek then sat in her chair to finish dinner.

The last sthingyfull making the journey from the bowl to his mouth promptly dumps down his freshly cleaned front as she kisses him.
"Oh, Damn. I think I have a hole in my bottom lip or jaw. Perhaps I ought to have the Doctor look at it."
He looks down at his tunic. "And, you did such a wonderful job of cleaning up my mess. Where is that cloth?"

OOC: I am amazed at the word S p o o n being censored and changed to sthingy. Proboards a S p o o n is an eating utensil, in this context needed to eat stew.
Looking at him she softly laughed. "I wonder now how much of that stew has made it to your stomach?" she got the cloth and wiped his tunic again taking advantage of the situation and kissed him lightly on his cheek.
Tilting her head she looked at his chin and jaw. "No, theres no hole to seen." She cleaned up the table and then sat on the couch with a glass of beer. "Come Drayce and sit with me."
