"And I missed you too. Now I know where my main competition will come from." Laughs slightly "How does one compete with such magnificence? I guess I will need to work hard at it."
She smiled at the new crew member. "I don't know I guess you would need to speak with the quartermaster or the Co."

looks at Drayce "I don't think the Co would be pleased to have live animals on the ship" his whiskers laid back and his ears quiver
Looks at the Mcapt his tail swishes "As much as I like a fresh kill most humans I find can not take me eating the fresh kill" takes a bite of his stake his ears lay back "Something to do with it being barbaric"

He looks at Deb, "Ahh, Deb. I'm not saying that what I saw was more magnificent than you. It's just that's what I grew up with. And love. I've found other loves, but when I get a chance to court that first one, I take it. But, I found it's not as appealing to me now as it used to be. Not since I've found you."
He smiles his signature smile, then glances at Wind Storm, "And, if people can't take the fact that you are eating what you require to remain healthy, then they haven't traveled enough. I've always lived by the old adage," He glances at Deb, muscles tensing a little just in case she does something.... Marine-ish .... "When in Rome, be a Roman Candle, except when your health's involved. I'm sure there'd be a way to accomodate your dietary needs."
He looks back to Deb, "And, I'm sure there's a way that you can win my heart fully from my work. But I'll warn you, if you do, then you'd better be prepared to work awfully hard. Nature's been at her displays for longer than humanity's been around, and so, she's had alot of time to paint her vistas."

"Speak with command staff, they will make the necessary adjustments if necessary. Even if this is a Naval vessel, they must have some sort of stomach." she smiles sweetly at Drayce.
"And was that a challenge you posed to me? There is nothing a woman can not do if she puts heart and mind to it. So be advised and for warned, sir." she started to laugh.

"Oh? Then, I look forward to seeing what displays you may put on which would be able to rival Nature."
He smiles at Deb, a full, bright smile.

She leans forward and smiles then kisses his cheek. "Can nature be doing that," placing her hand on his leg,"or this? She may make pretty vista's but I am here. And where is the lady known as nature?" she laughs and sits back.

Feeling her hand on his leg, he looks at her, his eyes gaining a merry, michievious sparkle, and his grin sliding to that signature sloppy half grin.
"Now, I can admit She can't match a woman's touch. But, I would say at the moment, not much could distract me from that vista out there! See those stars? The way they sparkle? They are ever so much more interesting than the steady glow of your skin, or the steady glimmer I see in those copper tresses. "
He looks away in a mocking manner, "But such familiarity breeds an inability to focus on it. When I sleep at night, it's not the fields of stars I see. It is something much closer to home which bothers my dreams, and makes me toss in the night. I have had to become accustomed to showering upon waking just to remove the remaining sweat caused by a pair of emeralds held in abayance under a flame."
He sighs, glancing at Deb, continuing, "But, first and formost, those stars hold so many unanswered questions. Not so easily answered as this."
He reaches out, draping his arm around her, and letting his hand hang where it wanted to. "What is on your mind?"

She smiles, removing her hand. "Ah, well since there seems to be on way to distract ya, I'll allow you to drool over your love. Wind Storm to~Sivao, how are you finding the Frontier?"

Chuckling at Deb's rise to the bait, his hand begins to retract, brushing along the back of her neck. "Well, since I must be so single minded to only one love at a time, I think I might just go court the one that's been around such a wonderful time. No personality, no ability to make me wonder what's going to come next. So few mysteries left to be explored. But, I guess that the old lady has had so many lovers she's even worse than a Risan entrepreneur."
His eyes glance at Deb, then he turns to look out a view port, his ears tuned to her movments, and an impish half grin on his face.

"I suppose so." she laughs and then playfully pushes him.
"Thank you Wind Storm. Can please call me Deb, or Debbie but never late for dinner." laughing more.

Grabs her hand when she pushes him, and spins her around to the other side, so that he "falls" onto her shoulder chuckling a little.
"Ah, I have met a few red suns out there, but never one who has quite as much of an ability to move me like you do."
He looks at her, his eyes glinting with merriment, "And I can promise I hope to never meet another either. One is quite enough, if you ask me. "

She started laughing, "You should be glad I'm not the jealous type. And no if ya not noticed I don't share well." she picked up her beer and took a drink.
"You bring out such silliness in me Drayce. Keep this up and I'll not be teh serious Marine I was, unless it was always hiding." she lightly kissed his cheek.
She looked at Wind Storm, "Don't forget to ask to the CO about the meat."
