"A hummann once commpairred it to catnnip. I trried it but for mmy tasste is wass a bit crrude, and upsset mmy sstommach. I guesss the herb catnnip and Caitainnss donn't mmix well." He heard her say and he looked a bit amused.
He remembered that a human female, as a joke, had given him some catnip, he found the taste to be very pleasing, but it had also had a very stimlating effect on him. When the female saw what afftect it had, she had ran off and he had to find another way to counter the stimulating effects of the catnip
"I amm ssorry that youu did nnot find the ccatnnip to be ennjoyablle, M'Leezz
He then heard her ask to tell her something of themselves
"I wass bornn inn the city of Two Dawnns onn the plannet Eeiauo. We arre verry much llike the Ssivvaoanns but arre mmorree technnollogiccally mminnded. Mmy ffatherr wass a Starrffleet Officcerr and I wannted to follllow his path ammonng the sstarss

hears m'Leezz ask them to tell about them selfs, then he listens to Grab Foot
"Iz wus born on Kindor II its a Colony world of my people, Iz wus born and raised in the City of Azmir, it sits on the Qazim Ocean" he takes a drink "Iz all ways enjoyed the elders talking of space flight, and from time to time the Federation would stop by, so Iz joined"
He looks at both "Thank y'all for y'alls company Iz think I'll turn in" he looks around the lounge "If y'alls excuse me" he stands up and looks at m'Leezz "Thank y'all for the drink" he turns and starts to leave

OOC: couldn't figure out where to put his so here goes.
Location: Star Fleet Medical on SB 234
After he was transferred to medical on the SB she went with him. It wasn't that she didn't trust them far from it. She was committed to his care. And she couldn't leave him now. Its said that medicine is mostly an art, and an understanding, coupled with a deep knowledge of your patient.
For days now she saw signs that he was coming out of the coma. She could have brought him out sooner, but the body and mind need uninterrupted time to heal. She would have used that had he needed it to complete the process of waking up.
He was now reacting to external stimuli and his reflective stimuli response was almost normal. She looked at him and smiled.
"Captain, I think your been here long enough now. Tis time to wake up." She took his hand and held it in hers, squeezing it. She smiles as he reacted perfectly to the sudden pressure. It was slow but that was to be expected.
"James" she waited a minute.
"James Harsting" she watched as his head turned to the sound of his name.
"James Harsting, I tell ya man its time to wake up now."

When Buford spoke she looked up. "Leavinng sso ssoonn? Yourr welcomme onn both accountss. Its beenn a pleassure sspeaking to you, whenn yourr nnot commmenntinng on mmy purrr."
She got a playful cast to her eyes, and her tail slightly twitched. "Be honnesst, you like the purrr." If she were human and capable of laughing she would be hard pressed not to laugh.
"I amm curriouss about the ccaptainn, Jammess Harrsstinng nnow thatss hess wakinng annd will be up annd about ssoonn. What iss he like?" Like all felines she was innately curious about most things. But unless it held some interest for her should quickly move on to the next thing.

He looked over to Buford as he stood and started to excuse himself. He thought about telling the canine officer he didn't have to leave but then thought better of it. He didn't think that M'Leezz didn't like him that much, plus he wanted to spend a few minutes alone with M'Leezz to get to know her better in a more... private matters
He heard Buford thank him and M'Leezz for the company and the drink. She responded in kind saying that it was a pleasure speaking to him, when he wasn't insulting her purr. He saw the playful look entering her eyes and face as she told him "Be honnesst, you like the purrr."
His tail spiraled into another helix and he was hard pressed not to laugh himself, thinking that he very much liked her purr. He then commented to M'Leezz in a low voice, to where she could hear him "I bellievve it wass my purrrr that he wass commenntinng onn annd founnd to be annnnoyinng. Yourr purrrr is more soothinng and rrellaxxing and morre ennjoyablle onn the earrss, at leasst, forr mme is iss"
She then turned to him, saying "I amm curriouss about the ccaptainn, Jammess Harrsstinng nnow thatss hess wakinng annd will be up annd about ssoonn. What iss he like?"
He could smell an increase in her curiosity as she asked of Captain Harsting. His whiskers quivered a little in thought as he thought of the best way to answer
"Ccaptainn Harrsstinng is a verry Ccapablle and harrd worrking Ccaptainn. Verry Trrusstinng and lloyall, especcialllly to hiss sship and ccrew. He would trreat you asss an equall, a frriennd. Nnot with dissrrepecct or asss ann outccasst. I amm ssurre you would llike himm"

"Yes I like your purr its soothing, relaxing and almost a musical tone"
She then asks about Captain Harsting, which Grab Foot tells her about him "I have only meet the Captain a few times, before he became ill, I look forward to getting to now him" he pauses "Grab Foot knows him better"
"I'm feeling a bit tired it was a pleasure talking to y'all" he nods to m'Leezz "Iz think Iz shell turn in for some needed sleep" he nods to both and exits

She finished her meal, then mixed another glass of charwar. "I thinnk I mmight like a desssert." She called over the waiter. "A bowl of icce mmilk with a lot of whipped crreamm." He nodded then turned to place her order.
"Ussually I donn't have desssert. But tonnight why nnot?" There was a look in her eyes that would be difficult if not impossible to read if you were not Caitian.
"What mmade you leave forr the starrss? Forr mme, it wass to exploree the vasstnnesss of what the sstarss held. To finnd adventurre, knnowledge, annd frrienndss that would nneverr be knnown annywherre elsse." Her purr got louder, and her eyes looked to the left. Her dessert came and she took a small amount of the charwar and sprinkled it on the whipped cream.
"I mmay rregrret this inn the mmornnning."

He sat with M'Leezz as she finished her meal and he had finished the glass of charwar water and the milk he had ordered. He was feeling content and relaxed, the first time, he thought, in about three months. Every since Ann had made her choice to go with Grant
He blinked back to the present when M'Leezz called to the waiter, ordering desert, Ice milk with lots of whip cream then stated after the waiter took the order and began processing it "Ussually I donn't have desssert. But tonnight why nnot?" He could see the look in her eyes, but was unable to determine it's meaning. His ears tilted forward, as curiosity entered his eyes. Purr-haps amusement, he guessed?
Why nnot inndeed. It iss a sspecciall mmommennt, iss it nnot? He asked her "The sstarrt of a frienndsship.." He knew and felt she was a friend already but he hoped she would be more then that, if it should even develop into that area. If it did, that would be more pleasant

He watched when her ice milk arrived, she sprinkled more of the charwar upon the confection "I mmay rregrret this inn the mmornnning" , she commented as she sprinkled. His ears tilted forward again, curious, wondering what would happen if one to eat too much of the herb. A moment later, he felt and heard him ask "What would happenn if onne werre to eat too mmuch of yourr charrwarr?"
He paused to let her answer

Her whiskers playfully danced as she remembered the last time she had too much.

Her purr and body positioning took on a note that would or could be described as a laughing. She took a some amount of her dessert and then using a sthingy gave him a taste.

A look of amusement crossed his feline facial features, her purr and body tone shifting and he would swear that she was laughing at such an occurrence. He could see that as amusing or fun, depending on whether you're with the right people, such as M'Leezz "Sso, it hass the ssamme effecct as allccoholl in hummanns, but doess nnot ssmmell asss bad" Whiskers twitched in amusement
She then offered him a "bite" of her desert and he took it. He felt a bit more relaxed but then he started feeling a bit stimulated and a bit of a buzz-y feeling started in his head, but he didn't care. "It leavvess a good feellinng, relaxed" He would say stimulated but he didn't want to push it
He hoped shore leave would last at least another week. He thought it most likely would as they had to make some extensive repairs on the Terrasect. Repairs should last another month. He suddenly dismissed thoughts of the Terrasect for now

He agreed that is was a very enjoyable dinner, even though he shared some of it with Buford. Granted, he is a good friend but not his preferred dining companion. M'Leez on the other hand..

He gave a slight nod as she said she had never been here before and she was gonna look around then looked amused, whiskers quivering as she hinted that if she had someone to show her around, it would be nice and appreciated. Her purr was echoed by a purr of his own. He thought she didn't have to ask It would have been his pleasure to show M'Leezz what she wanted
"I doubt we willll be recalllled to the sship annytimme ssoonn, unnlessss the finnissh rrepairrss ahead of timme" again, he doubted that. He then turned in his seat, stood and then offered his arm to her "You do have ssommeonne to sshow you arrounnd. Mmy taill would be tightlly hellixed ( I would be very happy ) to essccorrt you arrounnd and sshow you the ssightss."
He purred, with his tail in a tight helix, waiting for her reply

He stumbles into sickbay gasping for breath as a Doctor runs over and starts scanning him
"I.....I....Can Can't Bre...Breath" he gasps
"Your having an allergic reaction, get to a Bio Bed hes going into anaphylactic shock get me 5cc of Stenophyl
The Doctor gives him a shot he starts breathing easer , soon hes breathing normal, the Doctors ask him what he is allergic to "Nothing" they then ask if he as drank or ate anything different
Looking at the Doctor "charwar?" the doctor shakes his head "Cats eat that"the Doctor says Buford grows M'Leezz is Feline not A cat I was trying her charwar I had no idea I was allergic to it"
The Doctor looks at him anyone we should contact "No one to call" he thought about having them tell Grab Foot but decide not to he just laid their and rested

She took his arm and he felt the softness of her fur in his hands. So soft, he thought to himself. His was soft as well but it was coarse, as all Sivaoan's, or Eeiauoan's, fur coarsens as they grow older but he imagined that only another feline would be able to feel it
"Thiss iss trrue" he would say to her "No time like the present."
As he walked out with her on his arm, he wondered what it would be like to loop his tail with hers
