As expected, even though Sam had held the faintest of hopes, Ann rebelled against the hierarchy of the Terrasect. Sam let out a defeated sigh, moving his hand back to his forehead as he nursed the headache that was coming on. As she let loose with her rant, Sam looked over at Grabfoot and then back at Ann “Ya ever think pursing a position as an Executive Officer?” he said, smirking at the thought. As she almost finished, and Lt. Hound spoke up, Sam couldn’t help but roll his eyes a little. “I haven’t even been in charge 10 minutes and I’m already looking at a mutiny…” Knowing already that he didn’t have support from those in the room, he let the subject drop.
Just as Samuel was about to forget the whole thing and ask her to sit down, his choler rose and he pointed at Ann, some of the anger from earlier swelling to the surface “Uh uh,” he said correctively “you may shout at me, you may be mad at me, or you can even hate me” distinctly he glanced at Grabfoot, both in humor and seriousness “but you do NOT put down or insult this crew in that way. Our condition is not the deciding factor in our choices…” Sam caught himself and sat back down. He was both ashamed and proud of his outburst, it had been something he believed in all his years, and that had cost him his position aboard the Bull Run; almost ending his career.
It was no secret that Sam wasn’t the most popular amongst the crew, he wasn’t supposed to, nor needed, to be. Regardless of his personal feelings, or those of the crew aboard any ship he served on, bad talk and insulting the crew was unacceptable. Whether Ann had made her comment as a challenge, a fact, or in the heat of the moment was of no consequence. Sam sat back down, grimacing from his pained ribs, and pointed towards a chair for Ann to sit in. “If you would…” he motioned towards the chair, to Ann.
As Lt. Cmdr. Grabfoot and Lt. Hound referenced again Ann and Kate’s efforts in saving the Terrasect, Sam simply nodded. He was gathering that they were right, as he kept hearing the same information from several members of the crew. Unfortunately Sam didn’t have all the knowledge that everyone else seemed too, and he was trying not to get very upset at constantly being ‘beat over the head’ with the same information; let alone it being presented in an insubordinate fashion. He found himself swallowing hard and chalking the tension to recent events, which was easy as he wasn’t himself either.
As Kate’s name was also mentioned, again and again, his headache seemed to grow more intense. “Listen, if one person says that I was ‘playing with Kate’ or that I was ‘enjoying myself’ or anything along the lines, I liable to shoot them where they stand. I think I can be deemed criminally insane at this particular moment; with only a little more effort.” Partly truth and partly humor, Sam didn’t know what to make of Kate’s actions.
"Now just before she appeared down in Engineering, there was something like a ‘psychic message’ that was sent, several of the crew were effected by it. I must admit, I was too, but it activated a flashback relapse that I will not, not go into right now.” He spoke with the authority of a man controlling a meeting; his voice was solid and reserved. “But, that being said and in all fairness, her actions are not like our previous encounters. Regardless of what she may have said, or how good her intentions appeared to be, we must all agree they are not like Kate; not the Kate we’ve had run ins with before.” Samuel was stressing the point that even if he had been on the bridge, in perfect health, and Kate had did what she did, that he may not have acted differently. Every run in with her, and information gathered and told to him by Ann (which only he was aware of as he hadn’t told anyone), had made Kate out to be a monster; each of their last ‘meetings’ had proved it to be true. To do an about face like she had, was possibly more frightening then having to fight her out of anger. Sam nursed his drink as they spoke.

He fired a look back at Grant when he asked Ann if she ever thought about being a first officer. He found that question to be a little insulting towards him and a hurtful. He may be the Acting First Officer but he began to think that Grant didn't trust him with the position
He made no comments, until he heard Grant say “Listen, if one person says that I was ‘playing with Kate’ or that I was ‘enjoying myself’ or anything along the lines, I liable to shoot them where they stand. I think I can be deemed criminally insane at this particular moment; with only a little more effort.”
He narrowed his eyes at Grant and said a little heatedly "If That's the case, Mr. Grant, YOU should be the one in the brig and I should be "running this show". If you should decide to shoot anyone, even Kate or Ann, then I will put you there myself and then contact Star Fleet and appriase them of our situation"
The look he gave Grant told him he would do just that

Ann’ was a bit confused by Samuel’s comment, “Ya ever think pursuing a position as an Executive Officer?” She gathered it was a joke but wasn’t sure…living with all kinds of versions of humans it was a possibility. Between what she was saying she added this faintly, “Ummmm. Pursued. Already have… She kept that vague she didn’t want to clarify. When she was being pointed by Grant...this was starting to annoy her. “Uh uh, you may shout at me, you may be mad at me, or you can even hate me but you do NOT put down or insult this crew in that way. Our condition is not the deciding factor in our choices…” Ann’Knox gave a look on her face…she pondered that she wouldn’t have been disrespected like this if he was Jim but as clearly his not. Ann’ accepted this as a fact and now it turned on a mode within her that she only showed as a Drak Lord. As Grant said, “If you would…” She kept standing…“Listen, if one person says that I was ‘playing with Kate’ or that I was ‘enjoying myself’ or anything along the lines, I liable to shoot them where they stand. I think I can be deemed criminally insane at this particular moment; with only a little more effort. Now just before she appeared down in Engineering, there was something like a ‘psychic message’ that was sent, several of the crew were effected by it. I must admit, I was too, but it activated a flashback relapse that I will not, not go into right now. But, that being said and in all fairness, her actions are not like our previous encounters. Regardless of what she may have said, or how good her intentions appeared to be, we must all agree they are not like Kate; not the Kate we’ve had run ins with before.”
After Samuel had said Ann’ was RANTing…in Grant’s tone was implying so…she started to talk more seriously as an officer of the Drak but before that Mr. Grabfoot addressed Grant, “If That's the case, Mr. Grant, YOU should be the one in the brig and I should be "running this show". If you should decide to shoot anyone, even Kate or Ann, then I will put you there myself and then contact Star Fleet and appraise them of our situation” She listened and agreed to a point but this in both of their words…she found fault but she addressed Samuel then the other two later on. “First of all, gather your emotions and start acting like an officer. Spouting out orders and personal feelings does not make you authority intimidating to my eyes. I’m not making ANY insults to this vessel or you but merely stating facts. Your admiral or captain…whatever he is now. Is out of commission. Your vessel is crippled and barely able to reach warp with a hiccupping Transwarp Core. As the crew…the crew is ether dead… dying… injured and scared! And your sitting up here telling me this sh!t. I need not to insult… you are doing that just fine. You demand respect by your manner but you do not show that to us. Aside from us Drak and I see this as a common between us…comfort your crew before you sit in a room to sort out details. Also…’Our condition is not the deciding factor in our choices’ that is complete crap! You ignoring the facts is disabling as it is. You cannot go to warp if you don’t have a working warp core…the condition of this ship and crew matters to all decisions, period.” She wanted to tell him if you are talking about insulting then he shouldn’t be talking. “Perhaps that you are joking…about asking me to be an Executive Officer but if I were to be that now…what I am saying is what one would say...”
Ann’ then turned to Mr. Grabfoot and Buford, “As for you two. I did not ask you to defend me or the irresponsible Kate…like a cowering woman needing your help. There is a difference of being gentlemen and borderline be little ing. Regardless of your personal feelings of me as a friend or more…. your fracking duties are to the Terrasect and not I.” She then looks at Grant, “That man! Is now your Captain…weather if you think he is fit for the job or not its fact…his the Terrasect’s captain. Would you talk to him if his face was Jim?” Ann’ then turned back at Samuel, “and lastly and I want you to clearly understand. I am not a citizen of this federation nor a crewmember of this ship. I am a person… an alien foreigner to this reality and your culture. I wouldn’t expect you to obey Drak rules and hierarchy. So as you as a Commanding officer you should think out side of the bloody box and see me as that. Not a woman who is lost and assuming she wants to be a crewmember of this ship. Weather I like it or not and whatever fracking duties I have, I am a Drak and more so a Ma’Nearain woman who will not be talked down to because he can not gain the respect of those officers beneath him.”
Ann’ then answered about Kate’s behavior, “As far as Kate…I completely understand your responses to her. If you were ‘playing’ then whatever floats your boat. As a persons who know little of the Drak and more so how a hybrid human as Kate…She telepathic and that was most likely her. I may get lost in her actions as well. Aside from being the devil she only a mere Drak and our culture as Black Cast it’s a typical trait. Something you would not expect from me but that is how we Drak are. Never just one side and yet our loyalty shifts with the tided and yet not all of us are as sadistic as Kate. If I have to be as that then I will but I know better then her.” She explained but didn’t say she not exactly a Black Cast but from a new cast called the Grey Cast. They are ones who have a more redefined meaning of the Black and White Casts.
Ann’ walked over to Grant seeing that he was bleeding on the table. She armed her armor to science medical mode…she knew her systems were still regenerating but couldn't let him just suffer like that. Not even letting Samuel know what she was gonna do she started to heal the open wounds and started a bit on his broken ribs…just enough to have him be captain to put the crew ahead of himself then him. Even though she was insulted by his actions and words she didn’t need to add instults to him. the facts were enough and that’s what a good Executive Officer and or Captain would be.
Aside from everything Ann’s body was slowly changing it wasn’t noticeable just get but her tummy seemed to be growing. Her feelings were different from before but it was due to the changes of her body but of something more greater that links her and Kate. This wasn’t apparent yet to ether of them it would have to be sought out in Sickbay at a later time. Waited for any of them to respond after what has been said or wait for other members to enter.

He listened as Ann dug her own claws into Grant. He thought it was amusing that she verbally cuffed Grant. He knew that she could cuff him in ways that he couldn't
He blinked and looked over to Ann as she began verbally cuffing him, and Buford. He heard he“As for you two. I did not ask you to defend me or the irresponsible Kate…like a cowering woman needing your help. There is a difference of being gentlemen and borderline be little ing. Regardless of your personal feelings of me as a friend or more…. your fracking duties are to the Terrasect and not I.”
He shook his head, thinking he should be insulted again, but he wasn't. He knew Ann was speaking the truth. He gave a glance to Buford to see if he was listening then went back to Ann "You are correct, Ann, my duties are to the ship.. and that includes all those that are serving and all the civilians on board, even aliens such as yourself and Kate. My duty is to see your safety, even though I do know that you can take care of yourself
One thing I learned in Command class in the Academy "The First Duty is to the ship" I learned that one named Commander William Riker spoke those words. When this crisis started.." paused then spoke again "..no, when Captain Harsting gave me command of the bridge, I took that frame of mind. My personal feelings have been cast aside"
Ann then followed up with "“That man! Is now your Captain…whether if you think he is fit for the job or not its fact…he's the Terrasect’s captain. Would you talk to him if his face was Jim?”
'He shook his head, answering Ann "No, I would not, because I don't think Jim would act as.. "paused to consider his next word "..irrationally as Mr. Grant but I know this is a trying time and I am sure anyone would act accordingly. I am trying to keep a level head as I know, Mr. Grant is, but I believe some of his actions are fueled by emotion. As you know, I call them as I see them, as humans like to say and I am only trying to keep him from going completely insane"
He gave an amused glance to Grant "No offense, sir"
He went quiet again as Ann continued to rebuff Grant, then to his surprise armed her armor and came over to tend to his injuries. He had thought about calling Doctor MacAuley to do just that, but then he also knew she had her hands full with the other injuries sustained all over the Terrasect

Buford listened to Grant, Grab Foot, an Ann his ears went up when Ann said to him and Grab Foot "As for you two. I did not ask you to defend me or the irresponsible Kate…like a cowering woman needing your help. There is a difference of being gentlemen and borderline be little ing. Regardless of your personal feelings of me as a friend or more…. your fracking duties are to the Terrasect and not I.” Ann then looked back at Grant but still talking to Buford and Grab Foot "“That man! Is now your Captain…weather if you think he is fit for the job or not its fact…his the Terrasect’s captain. Would you talk to him if his face was Jim?” Buford listens as grab Foot replies to to Ann.
Buford keep listing to Ann and Grab Foot, the he watched Ann treat Grants wounds when she was done he spoke
"No y'all did not asks for me to defend y'all or Kate" Buford says to Ann "And I know y'all do not need any help I have never thought of y'all as cowering woman needing my help" Buford says, but never raises his voice.
"Yes My Duty is to this ship" he says as he looks at Grab Foot and Grant "Even thou those in charge, felt keeping the crew in the dark about Kate was a smart move"he says "As I have know Idea what she did before"he says
He looks back at Ann "Yes I would talk the same way to Jim" Buford says tittling his head"My Ma always said I was a few kibbles shy of a full bowl" his tail wags in humor.
He looks back at Grant and in a serious voice "Sir I am not mutiny against y'all" he says "Be honest Sir Y'all think anyone of us could make Ann leave if she didn't want to?" he asks,as he waits for the others

Her armor was only fold out to her arms and hands…she had healed 75% of Samuel but couldn’t do more. Her systems are not completely functioning properly. She listen as the ‘Executive Officer’ talk and she didn’t quite like what he was saying ether. As Ann’ was presenting her point of view as a Drak Lord aka Officer, “Allow me to do the same to you. Tell me your actions are not fueled by the similar emotions? You may have looked at the situation as logically but you continuously bombarding your superior, Grant with assumptions are just as.” She was implying his comments of Samuel and Kate.
“Me voicing my opinions are not to undermine or challenge and especially not belittle anyone of the operations of this vessel. In order for me to survive I must speak out when needed and not what you and your canine friend have been doing. I hear those constant side comment etc… This must stop and you are not fit as officers if you cannot control your selves...” At this point hearing this she was almost interested in taking Grant’s joke seriously of pursuing the Executive spot but she’s not one of them nor she was interested of being one. She trailed off slightly and mumbled, “If only I can take a position such as an attaché or ambassador for be half of my self and Kate but that would be just pointless for two individuals...” She retracted her armor and walked and sat down. She was finding all this more destructive then the asteroid. She knew that coming here wouldn’t be the same as before. Also she’s not the same when she arrived the couple time before... From everything she gone though with the Drak’s fall and the Dead Court spread across the unknown realities. It was very hard to wish thing would go back as it was.
She rather stay as a guest and helps when needed only and avoids the Terrasect daily operations. It’s just that if the Terrasect is in danger that means it will affect her too. Weather she a civilian or guest she will have to voice her thoughts. She will not be shhhed down by anyone when her life is involved. At the same time she will not assume and make insults to anyone. Just state the facts…
She listened to Buford as he talked, “No y'all did not asks for me to defend y'all or Kate and I know y'all do not need any help I have never thought of y'all as cowering woman needing my help” She cracked her neck out of frustration...she pondered, ‘weather if not isn’t your intentions your actions say other wise.’ Ann’ is from a society where men are secondary and women are the breadwinners. As she knew its not the same here but she expected that the males won’t do this shivery bull sh!t.
“Yes I would talk the same way to Jim. My Ma always said I was a few kibbles shy of a full bowl.” She thought that this was exactly what she was talking about to Grabfoot... If she had officers like this under her…she may just act on her Drak Black Caste traits... Ann’ was about to say something but Buford wasn’t done yet. “ Sir I am not mutiny against y'all. Be honest Sir Y'all think anyone of us could make Ann leave if she didn't want to?” She nodded her head implying, ‘eh he has a point.’ She drifted in thought…there was something strange…she couldn’t put her finger on it. It was just that she could not feel what it was but something was different…

Sam’s eyes narrowed as Grabfoot spoke out again about putting him into the Brig, he was about to get very angry when he realized, whether true or not, that he needed to remember that not every ‘species’ of the Federation understood humor in the same way that Terrans did; he just ignored his comment and let it pass over him.
He looked back at Ann, and then the other Officers amongst them. “I’m not a member of the ‘command’ discipline from Starfleet; I’m a Tactical Officer. My training does not focus on diplomacy or friendly conversation. Nor am I a Vulcan, I’m human and live and die by my emotions; I'm proud of that, not ashamed.” Still making eye contact as he looked about the crew. “During normal circumstances, I would not be in command of a Federation exploring vessel like the Terrasect, however these are bad times. As the senior officer aboard the Terrasect, and in line with orders from Starfleet Command, the job falls on me, I did not ask for this position.”
Standing up, albeit it painfully, he continued “With all do respect, out of professional courtesy only, I will say this. My ‘authority’ does not need to be intimidating to anyone, nor do I need the ‘respect’ of others. This is a Starship that has, regrettably, fallen to several disasters which I now must deal with; all that must be done is my orders followed.” He placed his left hand on the table to sturdy himself, the pain in his ribs was beginning to take over, but he stood none the less. “This crew doesn’t need to be babied, nor does it need me meddling in the ‘grunt work of repairs’ that are going on. They are very capable of performing their duties, they’re Starfleet.” His stance slouched a bit, as his legs began to give out “I do not expect you understand my style of command, but it is just that; Mine. I’m not a member of the Admiralty nor am I Captain Harsting, Captain Kirk or even our beloved Admiral Janeway; I’m just me. Don’t compare apples to oranges, we’re all different people and do things differently.”
He coughed, painfully, as he was forcing himself to stand against the objections of both his good leg and his augmented one. Still looking at all within the room, not just one particular person, he continued “My first duty is to the Federation, the Terrasect is part of that Federation.” He said bluntly “Regardless of if my actions aren’t the same that any of yours would have been; it’s irrelevant. Do not make a comment again that anything else comes first or that I put myself first before anyone; I will not allow it.” He said matter of factly; effectively ending the argument on that note.
When Ann made her comment about him ‘playing with Kate’, he momentarily thought about shooting her, but at the same time as the thought, he laughed inwardly at himself. A grin crossed his face as he met Ann’s eyes. However, the slightest lap in concentration caused him to lose his balance slightly, and he sat back down in the chair with a grunt.
He also looked over to Lt. Cmdr. Grabfoot at his comment about keeping him ‘sane’, he waived a humorous dismissive hand towards him “None taken.” Trying to force a smile, but even smiling began to hurt. He looked back at Ann “We’ll have to discuss your ‘wishes’ and decide what you’d like to do. You’re right, you’re not a member of this crew officially or of the Federation, you are a visitor; so you status is special. But you’ll have to forgive me if I can’t make a decision at this particular time; I’m sure you have some decisions to make as well. That being said, I don’t want you to have to make any ‘commitments’ at this time before we finish discussing the damages to the Terrasect and what to do with Kate.” Sam hadn’t intended to be in the meeting this long, nor to have to be so agitated in it. It was supposed to be a short meet and greet meeting to go over the current status. He he’d of known, he’d have spent some more time with the good Doctor and received proper medical treatment; now he wish he had anyway. But this was the proper decision to be here, seeing to their needs, not sitting in Sickbay receiving special treatment. He’d put the Terrasect first; at the risk of not surviving the meeting.
He coughed again, this time he spit up blood. He wiped it on his sleeve and continued to talk, he hadn’t noticed, surprisingly, how close Ann had gotten. Before he could say anything, she stepped over to him and began using her ‘armor’ to treat some of his injuries. The lacerations across his body clotted and stopped bleeding, and partially healed. More importantly, his ribs were being mended and his injured lung was healing, even if slightly. It only took a minute or so, but Ann had at least mended most of Sam’s serious injuries. As her medical devices retracted, part of Sam’s composure resurfaced, and his eyes met Ann’s.
He suddenly remembered, which also ashamed him that he’d forgotten, of the feelings that he had begun to develop for her. But like everything else, his ‘Duty’ came first, and that had put her to the back of his mind. As his thoughts returned to his active thoughts, he looked up to her, smiled professionally, and simply said “Thank you…” not wanting to say anything more at this particular moment.
“Now,” he said taking back control of the meeting “dealing with the matters at hand. Somebody please tell me, simply, what the hell happened? All I know is that I was in Sickbay with the Doctor talking about the Captain’s conditions and within a few minutes, the Doctor and I were in Engineering. Kate appeared, we fought, she discharged one of the Warp Cores. Can someone please fill in the blanks for me?”

Buford looks at Grant "Sir the Asteroid started spinning so fast it created its on Gravity, piece of it broke of and hit us so fast a hard we sustained the damage" he says "I could have gotten us free but both Warp engines went down that gravity was so strong impulse could not break it" he reports
"I don't know why it started spinning, with out data my reckoning is as it got closer to the planet, the planets gravity started it spinning" he says

He listened again as Ann's words cut straight to the bone. Not fit as officers? He narrowed his eyes slightly "I can control myself just fine, Ann. If you or Mr. Grant do not like my views on a certain situation, then I am sorry. It is how I feel. Even I am not immune to the emotions I feel and do act accordingly"
He turned back to Grant as he responded to Ann's comments, smelling a little anger rise in him but then he quickly stamped it down. As he made his comments, he merely nodded, as he basically said he is who he is and he has his own style of command, unlike the other captain's he mentioned: Kirk, Janeway or even Harsting. He knew he also had his own style of command, but he doubt anyone would want to have a "cat" as he has been so irritatingly been called, as their CO, at least not for very long
At the end, he heard Grant ask what had happened in the few minutes between talking to the Doctor about Harsting's condition and fighting with Kate in Engineering. He was about to make his report when he heard Buford quickly speak up, making a report from his point of view
As the Canine officer finished, he spoke up. "First, I would like to say I am sorry if anyone is offended by my actions or my words. As Grant says, I am who I am and have my own style of command. As for what happened, When I left your quarters, I made my way to the bridge. On the way there, all hell broke loose, as you might say. I had just reached the bridge when the Tactical, Science and Ops consoles blew to an overloads. Lt Ravious took a full blow from her blown console but she was not injured that seriously. Communications and sensors went down as well. As I heard reports that Engineering sustained the most damage before internal communications went down, I assumed that the warp core also took heavy damage. So While Buford tried his best to keep us from crashing on the Asteroid, with the damaged Navigational systems, he could not prevented it. It was the actions of Ann and Kate, phase cloaking the ship with their technology that saved us"
He knew he had stated that fact a couple times before but this time he stated it as an official report, not to rub it in anyone's face or prove a point. He went on "I assumed the warp core took the most damage and worked on getting internal sensors and communications. Just before I got communications back up, all the consoles began displaying the de stabilization of the auxiliary warp core. It was then I attempted to contact engineering to warn them and got the sounds of you and Kate fighting. I then came down to assist in the ejection process thinking that my command codes were needed as well as yours"
He paused to let Grant or anyone else comment

With her experience she had dealt with many things like this but for some reason. It was different and it was slightly difficult to adjust that. Adapting is what Drak masses are trained to do but having the majority only interact with Drak. With only the five Cast types not many deal with foreign alien affairs. She was the few of those who had chances to interact with non-Drak and in a non-hostel intent. Ann’ listened to what Samuel was saying…then to the other two in the room. She would have had more to say but personal feelings and thoughts where not appropriate at this time. She had more things to address to all of them but taking her own advice she will just adapt to their shortcomings.
Ann’ regretted to return to her active Drak duties not as a Dead Court Lord but just a general way of doing things as a Drak. She lied she was slightly interested in becoming someone else to be apart of the Terrasect and Sam’s life but she felt things have change as well. She doesn’t know what happen between him and Kate. Nor those days that she wasn’t in her body and assuming Kate had its possession. As she sat there she changed her way of how she interacted with them. Ann’ started to return to her Drak comings and cast a side their emotional excuses.
She sat up and presented more of a stance of how she would if in a foreign alien associations. She took all the information of from what they all said and she added hers. “Kate and I extrapolated that the vessel would meet its demise to the asteroid...” Ann’ omitted the detail that Kate planned to leave them all to their death. “Once I...” As she replaced Kate for her self and did not want to let them know that she had not fracking idea how Kate appeared. “Entered my full armor mode...proceed to the likely impact site and force this vessel merging with the Terrasect. As I am designed to merge with ships mostly of organic base…I was able to obtained 80% control of the Terrasect. Due to its current damage and velocity toward the asteroid I could not avert but decided…” Which again she replace Kate for her self to avoid explain how Kate came to be.
“...I then sent a holographic projection of ones self to the command deck…addressing of my plans. I then armed my Phase Cloaking component to incorporate the Terrasect as It and I merged as one.” She started to ponder how did really Kate appeared on the Terrasect. She even her self wasn’t sure how she came on the Terrasect. They’re where moments that she saw things but it was like a dream. In Ann’s mind she could never take control of her dreams but she knew Kate could. It was ether an imaginative ability that she had…compared to Ann’.
Ones they were out of the rocky woods she continued to say, “As I found my self fused to the hull I could not find a solution up until Kate contacted me through her communications...She and I transported our self to my position and where ever she was hiding to the bridge…” Ann’ lied ones more to protect Kate and the strange anomaly Kate was in her body. “That is when…She and I realized my power system created a hiccup in to the Terrasect’s power matrix…which in turn if not addressed would cause a warp core breach. As your vessel is…” Ann’ wasn’t sure to answer as Kate was more knowledgeable in Federation technology. As she spent real time with them as an active officer on several federation starships…
She then pondered that maybe why she was here to and maybe came here because I was here. After everyone in the Dead Court escaped the massacre…what are the chances that she and I would find one another. She didn’t quite get along with Kate but regardless she was family more then what she was trying to make with the Terrasect. “Your propulsion as Kate told me is based on twin singularities…in simple terms two black holes. If my energy had merged with these artificial black holes… What Draks say it would create an unstable White Singularity…” It was something Ann’ and Kate could not risk to their survival as the Terrasect was just a bonus to save. Ann’ wanted to save the Terrasect but she knew convening Kate this was home now. She knew she wouldn’t have cared she had other places in this reality to live in but to Ann’ this is the most familiar place. Kate only helped because if they had created a White Singularity…they would attract those who are hunting for them.
Before she could let anyone ask what was a White Singularity she explained. “A White Singularity is a simple but rare occurrence of a type of wormhole and black hole. It what the ancient Drak builders based our propulsion off. If unstable it can easily suck in this enter region producing the final permanent aperture of the White Singularity.” As she caught her self going in a tangent she went back to the relevant information. “She decided to remedy the problem as she was more able to fix it…as the rest she would have to tell you. I remained on the Command Deck do to armor issues. Commander Grant.” She ended her report with formal title rather then how she normally did.
Ann’ then added, “If you would like to release Kate…she and I can assist with your engineers to restore the Terrasect….” Ann’ was in her Drak frame of mine…aka all duty. “My Armor had made scans and obtain data with the merge of the Terrasect of the planet below. It has ‘ore’ what we can use to replenish and repair the Slipstream Warp Core…” Added on to her scans she remembered that this region is closely dangerously next to the Klingon boarder. “As the data I obtained we are in the Zeta Raphadon Expanse and we are close to those what you call Klingons. With the Drak encounters of them which are rare…we did not mesh with them as you can say. I suggest starting repairs to your propulsion and stopping broadcasting if are of our position to those eyes that we will be easy prey for. Just a suggestion Commander…as my wish can be address once…” She pondered, ‘Ones you turn us to your Federation.’ “…ones this issue is resolved.”

Buford listened to Grab Foot then Ann and he hoped the Klingon's in this sector of space followed the treaty, then looking at Grant "One more thing Sir" he says
"Their is a Lt Rivers an Engineer, she made some repairs to helm" he says then he looks at Ann "She smelled like you" He says
"Smells are like finger prints no two are the same, Lt Rivers smell was you" he says he looks back at Grant "She did not sabotage the helm console in anyway" he adds
He looks back at Ann "My assumption is you can change your body to look like anyone" he then Looks at Grant, Grab Foot and Ann "I would like to Know what Ann and Kate can do, and as y'all have meet before and from the sense I get have fought Ann or Kate maybe even both, I have the right to know so I don't Tick off Kate" he says
Then he looks right at Grant "I mean Sir Kate Beat your tail, so I think I have a right to know" he says Buford thinks Ann be more willing to talk but hes not so sure about Kate from what hes sensing

She had worked quickly and efficiently, keeping up with Grant. She treated the wounded as they went. For those that couldn't be saved she took the Id's for her records later.
In all she was saving over 93% of all the crew she encountered. Sickbay knew the order of the tagged crew members to be seen or picked up, once movement or site to site transport was an option.
Paying little attention if any to those not requiring medical care. She knew Grant understood that if your injury was below a certain level you needed to wait as he was doing.

Post by Capt Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns on May 11, 2008 12:08:08 GMT -5
He turned to Buford as he made an addition to his report, where he saw a Lt Rivers and thought it smelled like Ann. He shook his head slightly, amused that Buford thinks that everything smells like Ann. Then his command sense kicked in and his ears pitched forward
He asked the canine officer "If this Lt from Engineering came to the bridge and done some unscheduled maintenance, why wasn't Mr Grant or myself notified, even if it may have been Ann or Kate?" He was pleased however that the console was not damaged before things went south with the asteroid
He then heard Buford's last comment to Grant and his ears and whiskers twitched in annoyance as he remembered Kate kicking his tail around a bit too. He muttered "Grant's tail isn't the only one been beaten by Kate.." then spoke more clearer to Buford "Kate is a picky female. She loves to fight and would use any excuse. She would kill you without as much as twitching a whisker, or in a human's point of view, bat an eyelash".
He gave an involuntary shutter as he was almost one of Kate's victims, then glanced at Ann, gauging her reaction to his view of Kate, wondering if he hit the proverbial nail on the head

Sam listened as everyone spoke what they knew. He didn’t interject or remark, he just listened. He truly didn’t have much to say, he wasn’t there and had no idea of what happened. He only knew that which he was involved in, and that wasn’t the most accurate information to be counted on right now. As the Officers in the Observation Lounge continued with their report, Sam made many notes on his PADD he had, making sure he documented the key parts for his report later, and for his own sanity.
“I do intend to talk to Kate, to see what her side is. Damn it, if a misunderstanding occurred I’ll be the first one to say ‘I’m sorry’, but until then we’ll proceed as planned.” He said.
Sam responded to Lt. Hound’s information “We don’t have a Lt. Rivers in Engineering.” He said mater-of-factly. He just raised an eyebrow at Lt. Hound, there was great concern if people could just walk onto the Bridge, mingle with systems, and depart without anyone knowing if they were supposed to be there or not. But the Terrasect was a big ship, and it wasn’t a war ship or on high alert, there was no good reason to be on guard for ‘strange persons’; other then what Grabfoot and Kinesly spoke about.
“Actually Lt. Hound, as not only the acting Captain aboard the Terrasect but the senior most member of Starfleet Security, I decide what you and the rest of the crew have the ‘right to know’ regarding The Drak.” He got up from the table, walked over to a shelf near one of the consoles and retrieved several PADDS, then handed them out to the Starfleet Crew, not to Ann, as it was a Starfleet matter. “In accordance with Starfleet Security Directive 41233.24 Alpha Hotel, information regarding the The Drak is deemed classified. Please file your reports on these PADDS and return them to me in 4 hrs. Information regarding them is to be kept classified.” Starfleet Security and Starfleet Command were concerned about this new species, much as they were about The Borg and Species 8472, and didn’t want their information common knowledge currently.
As they paused to regain their composure, the rest of the Senior Staff entered and sat down; Major Kinesly, Doctor MacAuley. They went over the damages and the repair times, the casualty figures, and spoke briefly about the Captain's condition.

OOC Note:
In case you were wondering, no I don’t want you to actually in game document what you know of the species; it’s just an ‘in game action’ for the characters.
Also, as I know that some simmers are not able to post as frequently as others (as I've previously mentioned), I've taken the liberty to move them into critical scenes of the story. When they post next, they are still able to complete their actions of where they were, the critical scene and then move forward. This is to make sure that when they are able to post, they can post with their characters having the knowledge of certain critical information; please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
