* As the main viewer springs to life the image of the young bajoran woman floods into view . turning from the Lt Commander as she exits and back to the main screen *
"Good afternoon. this is 1st LT Devilen with the Bajoran Militia. I'll be in command of this little escort operation as per request of the bajoran government you will be in command of the general security and safety of these travelers." stopping in mid sentence the Lt looks across the viewer curiously at Julius. " I should surely hope you are a visiting officer and not this battle ships commander"
Taking a few deep calming breaths before opening his mouth " I am Commander Delor Commissioned by starfleet command and the current commanding officer of this vessel her crew and compliment and currently the only person available to save your souls should you encounter hostile forces so to answer your question Yes and I am aware of the assignment and its component elements having been throughly briefed over the details of this mission. do you have injured to report? if so coordinate with the medical staff i'm sure they can assist." Lt devilen spoke calmly cooly " We have jsut left Bajor and are a mere three days into the journy I should hope noones been injured as of yet and that things are running smoothly" The Commander smirked" Very well then keep me informed of your status and speed I trust helm has the coordinates and flight plans " Of course things are well underway thank you commander" the Hailing frequencies close abruptly as the colony ships swing into position. Helm rotates the trevious in smootholy behind them to begin escort services.

She lay on the biobed stiffly, uncomfortable, hoping for a quick end to the interrogation.
"Nothing so much as a contusion, Doctor.'
Is this an examination or a course in first aid? She withheld a sigh.
"Is there anything else you need to know that hasn't already been provided in my records transfer?"

She listened to the LtCmdr say"Nothing so much as a contusion, Doctor.' as she made notes in the LtCmdr's files
She was looking at the file when the LtCmdr said "Is there anything else you need to know that hasn't already been provided in my records transfer?"
"No you answered my questions, your cleared for duty" She makes some finial notes "Welcome aboard Ma'am, you may leave anytime you wish to" She turns and heads for her office

What questions were those, Deka wondered? The ones automatically answered by the medical equipment or the one about whether she was experiencing any of the common symptoms of a hangover? Either way, she certainly hoped that this was the Doctor's way of dealing with the formality of her exam and not a statement of her efficiency.
She nodded. "Thank you, Doctor."
She returned to the bridge, and deliberately chose to salute the Commander in the Cardassian fashion he had used when he met with her on the station. She cast her gaze around gaging the others' reactions.

(I could have sworn that I posted yesterday, but something must have gotten screwed up)
Kyah closes the channel when the communication is finished. She then monitors the engine output of their engines as she keeps an eye on the position of the colony ship fleet and the ship to ship chatter out there. "Engine output is normal, all decks are reporting that everything is within normal parameters, and there is no chatter on the commlines of significant interest."
(I'll post when I am able to due to power outages. The flood corroded the power lines underground, and stuff is starting to short out.)

OOC: Not good. Hope nothing else shorts out
She glanced up and saw the female cardassian return to the bridge and salute the Commander in a non-federation way then glance around the bridge, as if trying to see what reaction would come from the others
When the XO looked her direction, She had a neutral expression, but she also gave the impression she could care less
She continued to monitor her tactical displays, having nothing substantial to report

Closing his fist over his chest in a Cardassian salute complete with a nod.
" I trust things went over smoothly Lt Commander? The Medical staff on a federation vessel can be rather through sometimes to Through had the nerve at one point in time to ask about my right molar most curious indeed Lt commander take your station I need this vessel in motion maintaining an average of warp factor 5."

Quite content not to discuss her observations regarding the Doctor, she assumes her station. This time it felt official. She could almost forget this was a Federation ship and they were herding sheep.

Tapping into the navigational console, she brought the ship to bearing 12 degress by 90 degrees, as instructed
Over the next several hours, she screened calls from the bajoran ships to medical, complaining of sickness and other maladies, shaking her head in disbelief as she also piloted the ship around a couple of distortion rings, a quantum filament and several Inversion Fields
At warp 6, this was difficult to do since sensors were not able to detect them until they were practically on top of them. It was only by her feline reflexes that she was able to avoid them. The quantum filament was most difficult. As the sensors detected it, she was unable to avoid it. She was able to save the ship from serious damage by turning the ship, and more critical areas, away. The filament passing through one of the lower crew decks. She only hoped no one was in one of the crew quarters down there
Once the Bajoran convoy regrouped, she saw they weren't so lucky. Their numbers had decreased to 4. She reported this to Commander Delor
OOC: Thanks to Memory Alpha for their list of spatial anomalies

Deka found the fact that so many colonists were suddenly reporting illnesses or injuries so soon after Lt.Devilen had reported everything running smoothly, suspicious. Tapping her comm, she addressed the Doctor.
"Doctor Davenport, in only the past few hours an apparent epidemic of injury and illness has occurred on the ships within our convoy, while only shortly before, they claimed everything was well. They say they are in need of Medical support. Contact the ships and determine what you can of their situation and report back. I advise extreme caution."

Hearing the LtCmdr she taps her com "Yes Ma'am"
She contacts the Ships medical teams "We will be glad to help but I need to know the symptoms and injuries so I may bring the right supplies"
She coms the bridge "Can the ships be scanned to determine what my team needs?"
She waits for replies

She heard the executive officer talking behind her, and the doctor's response on the comm. She turns, "Ma'am, I can contact them while the doctor assembles her supplies."

(Note: These actions take place prior to Trevious discovering the disappearance of the colony ship.)
"Until we have a better idea of what just happened here, the Doctor would be placing herself and her team at risk if she transports over. If we bring their injured here, we risk contamination."
As if remembering something, the turned to the Ops officer. "Didn't you have experience in Science on your former assignment? I suspect there might be some link between the anomalies we've been passing through and the colonists recent illnesses. We'll need scans and whatever else we can get before the Doctor can work safely."
