He would still keep working on trying to get the ships name and where it is calling from so that way he can tell them all who and what it is.

She crossed her arms in front of her. " Mr Fallon I believe that is the Ship's Counselor, transfer you systems to Tactical. Mr Moon find out where the call is from. Mr. Fallon report back as soon as the Counselor is done with you."

The flight was smooth, but she pulled to the left. The fighter was a short range job, but Marc had done several refueling connections en route. Now he was finally here, the Tarawa came into view at first as a small speck then bigger. He knew as he approached the sleek carrier that this would be the last peaceful flight he would take. He activated his transmitter. "Lassiter to Tarawa, I need clearance to land.

He quickly landed his fighter and emerged. He pulled his helmet off feeling the good exhaustion of a long flight. He had the smell of a long stint in a cockpit. He looked over the flight deck and the crew at work. He had good material but much work to do before this deck was his. He saluted each as he past then headed to the bridge to present his orders.

He smirked a bit when the Counselor called up for the new Ops Officer, Mr Fallon and asked him to report to her office. He heard the new AXO, Major Kaine ask him to transfer Ops control to him for the time being and for him to get a trace on the Distress call
He noted Ops control was transferred over and he reports "recieved control of Ops, now attenpting to locate and fin out who or what is sending the distress signal"
As he tapped his keys, another part of his console lit up and he glanced over, he then looked at Kaine "Are we expecting anyone?"

He enters the bridge the confident stride a pilot has. He walks up to the officer in command and holds a stiff salute. Marcus Lassiter reporting as ordered.

She looked at Lt Lassiter and then to Major Aniri, she was busy. She thought she take care of this for her as she studied some reports. She returns his salute. "At ease Mr Lassiter let me see your orders."

He hands his order to her making an effort to keep his gaze at eye level. I am to report as Commander of the Air Group stationed here, Ma'am.

H was about to answer Kaine's question if the new pilot has arrived yet when the TL doors open and out into the bridge he came and then retported to Major Kaine.
As an after-thought he says, "Yes, Ma'am. He has"
He then went back to his sensors, filtering out what was making the distress call so garbled, trying to get it clearer so he could Identify it

The small smile she had left her face. she kept her eye's on the PADD for a few seconds wondering if this was mistake. She looked up at him. " Very Well 1st Lt Lassiter. Velcome aboard I am Major Kaine the XO Major Aniri is your CO. You can meet her later right now check in vith the Doctor along vith the Ship's Counselor and get cleared for duty. Any questions?"

As Lassiter left the brige, he felt Major Kaine's eyes turn to him and said "Let's get back to finding the source of the distress signal"
He gave a small nod of his head as he continued to tap keys on his console, filtering and attempting to strengthen the signal "Yes, Ma'am. I am working on that as we speak"
