She nodded as Ensign Fallon informed her the first of the transports and transporters started.
"Almost finished. I will not leave as ACO until a matter is cleared with SFC. I was told I would know the answer in an hr."

She nods. " Yes it vill be a very big change before I vas in command of an air ving of about 50+ pilots. Now to Command a Starship of 100 Officers and 400 Enlisted Crew." She looks to Jay. " Vhy are they even considering me for this post?"

Shortly after Dexx says he’s ready the First wave is beamed onto the planet David walks up to them with Sam, and Dexx
“Welcome to your new home” he says with a smile “Please right this way and we’ll get you settled in” he says as he points the way
The people look around then up at the sky, The Sun is setting but its still quit warm 73 out. The Kids look and yell as they see friends who gathered to see who had made it off the planet, people start heading were they were told others go to friends who help them.
David sees a girl about 16 run over to a boy the same age “Tom! Tom! I’m so happy you made it!” she screams has she hugs him. Tom Hugs her back “Deb Deb I so glad you made it off I….I…would want die if you didn’t make it” he says then he looks in her eyes “I Love you Debbie will you Marry Me?” he asks her, She hugs him tight and David hears her say “Yes Yes a thousand times Yes” she Kiss Tom and they head off together
David smiles and looks at Dexx “Warms your heart” he says

She smiles. " Thank you Major. I know vhen I first signed on to this ship I vas a pain in the backside and maybe still am a little. but I appreciate your recommendation." She could feel her stomach turning but she did not let it show.

He nods. { Yes it does. Seems like these people will make it here after all. Who knows in 50 years they may be part of the Federation.}

Sam is helping the people and smiles as she hears David’s words. Then a little boy 6 runs up to Sam crying “I lost my Mommy I want your Mommy” he screams.
Sam picks him up “what’s you name?” She asks him “Jake” he says through his tears “well Jake I’m Samantha you may call me Sam now what’s you mothers name?”
She asks
Sam then hears a woman screaming “Jake! Jake! Baby were are you?” She calls out then she sees Sam and runs over “Jake! Don’t you ever” she cries as she takes him, Sam smiles at her, as she thanks Sam then heads off

Nods. " Yes Major. If SFC gives you a hard time I vill back you on this it vas the right thing to do." She saluted her and watched her go in to the ready room. She stood up from her seat and walked around the bridge.

As she walks around the bridge she taps her com-badge and checked in with Saris and the other teams. They informed her things were going well. After the report she took her seat and waited.

She exited the ready room 3 hours later. And took the command chair. Not saying a word to anyone.
"Ops recall our people. I want everyone on board in the next 20 minutes."
She sat looking straight ahead out the VP.
