She looked at the time.
"Very good your right on time. This training excerise is to gauge you qualifications on a variety of targets. Stantionary, moving, hiding behind something, someone rushing at you."
"In addtion you will tested on how well you fire in the different positions, such as prone, crouching, running, etc."
"To make the next level of marksmanship you will need to hit your targets the majority of the time. The exact number is not being released to you. This is to relieve undue pressure."
"This training session will take place in a colony. The citizens are all in thier homes."
"Any questions?"

Ta'Mak enters the holodeck and finds the attire near the entrance he changed into them and makes his way further int he program wondering what his first objective is. No sooner before he said those words he spots a target up ahead he takes cover in a crouching position and readies to fire on the target.
He fires and hit the first target aims and misses the second one.

After her shift ended she returned to her quarters. It was sad and lonely Akoval was gone almost all the time. All she had was the pramha's. Well, that was the way it is. She grabbed her mat and left her quarters. Walking to the holosuite she thought about the events of the last few weeks. Once at the holosuite she entered her program code. The doors opened and she walked in, grabbing the traditional robes she put them on. She walked with her head slightly tilted and her eyes downcast. She reached the Wall of Hero's, placed her mat on the ice then knelt. She always came here when troubled and this time she felt it to the core of her being. Her eyes scanned the wall, then rested where her family rested. She searched for her great great grandfather, Keval Aniri. She looked at his vial and spoke to him. She had never personally met him but the tales of his activities in the IG stayed with her. He was with Shran on P'Jem, when the array was found that was used to monitor Andor. She began to feel more at ease, as peace began to filter into her being. She felt the winds as they changed direction, looking at the sky she stood up. Her antenna's searched for the entrance to the cave not far from her. A storm was approaching and this was not the time for a leisurely walk. Gathering her mat, she got up and made her way quickly to the cave. As she entered the ice cave, the warmth of the thermo vent could be felt slightly. She watched as the storm took hold and sheets of snow fall blocking everything in sight. Jay walked back into the cave wondering if this was where the caretaker of the wall resided. After 20 mins, her peace returned, anger was restored with the words of Keval running though her mind. "Remember this my family, we are who we are and they are who they are. Find in your heart a way to accept that, knowing change is unlikely." As a child that confused her but now it made sense. She knew in the days to come that family saying would be very important to her. "Computer end program"She walked out and returned to her quarters.

Post by LCpl M'kota on Jan 21, 2008 0:38:49 GMT -5
LCpl M'kota came to the holodeck right behind her team. A nice grin swept across her face as the ideal conditions for the march came through her mind. They better not disappoint her or else she'll schedule them this program every other day until they can do this in their sleep. "Computer, run Iverson training 132.", she said to the holodeck computer.
"Acknowledge. Enter when ready.", the computer said.
"Fall in, be' (woman)!", she said to them as she went into the holodeck with her team. Upon entering, her team noticed the tough terrain that is infront of them and started to moan. "Stop your moaning. What are you all, weaklings or Marines?!", she said to them.
"We are Marines, Ma'am!, they call chimed. M'kota smirked a bit. "Much better. We will be on a ten mile march through a terrain befitting such a march. March!", she ordered them.
They all began on their ten mile march through the jungle and rough terrain. She could tell that there are some that are not use to the humity. That can be easily fixed by letting some work outs be in humity to where they could get use to it. She ran along side of them as they hit rain and other weather factors. When they start up the hill, most struggled getting up the hill. One Marine lost his footing and began to slide down the muddy hill. She took grip of a tree and quickly took his hand to prevent him from sliding any further. Helped him back up to his feet.
"Do not forget teamwork.", she reminded them as they worked themselves up over the hill. By the time the gotten to the bottem of the hill and through several brushes, M'kota looked at them. "We are almost halfway done!", she said to them. After several hours, with over few marines struggled through quick sands and then the swamps. At one point, she even managed to kill a reptillian animal to keep it away from them. By the time time they finished the program, most of the Marines was out of breath. For her it was accelerating, but she could tell that her team needed more time with this program. Most of her team had a hard time making it back to the marine deck.

They arrived at the holosuite then she entered her code. As the doors to the holosuite opened it showed a warm spring day. The sun was shinning and the sky was crystal blue with light fluffy clouds overhead. There was a pathway ahead of them ending at gate.
"I hope you like amusement parks, welcome to Rocky Point. The restaurant here is famous for its shore dinner. I love the crab cakes." They stood on line. When the reached the ticket booth she got all day passes and tickets for the shore dinner.
She turned and smiled at him, "Are you ready?" She into the park and took his arm.

They walked down the fairway, there were vendors for games and food, along with enterances for the rides. She pointed to the left and there was the pier were some people were fishing. And on the beach a few people were quahog'ing.
"Did you ever go quahog'ing? We did about once a week when I was a kid." she looked up at him and smiled.
