They started back entering the large dining hall. Ivy made sure they entered together so they could be seated together. They waited on the food and there was on man next to mark That kept commenting impatiently that he was waiting for food. He turned to Ivy with his cocky pilot smile. We better be hungry.

She sat down next to him. "I hope you like this."
The waiter brought out bread, corn bread, bread sticks, butter placed a pitcher of beer between Marc and Sandy. "We have to wait for the 6:00 seating to be finished. Usually takes about 10 mins so they give you bread and the beer is my idea. Unless you want something else."

Beer works as long as its draft. He took some bread and buttered it. I do love bread though.

She took corn bread and buttered it. The woman next to her asked is there was any jam? Sandy passed it to her and smiled.
"I love bread and corn bread. This is only the beginning. Homemade bread and corn bread." She poured a mug of beer for her and Marc.
20 minutes later the New England clam chowder was brought out. She smiled and smelled it aroma as it drifted up. "Heaven" She picked up her sthingy and started to eat it.

He watched her eat for a moment watching the joy she got out of the meal. He tasted the chowder himself and the taste to warm his body. He knew not to eat a lot since this was just the appetizer. He holds up his mug to her. To a great meal with a beautiful woman.

There was a couple across from them and they raised their mugs, to their own toast, she smiled. "Flattery will get you almost anything." she started laughing. She ate some more chowder and then put her sthingy down.
The waiter returned with the quahog cakes, salad, and took the pitchers to refill them. She left the salad and ate the quahog cakes. "I have always love them since a little girl. I would pick clam chowder and quahog cakes for my birthday dinner."

I know what to get you for your next birthday. He smiles and eats one of the cakes himself. I don't know if its the food or the company but I'm having fun and will probably gain a few pounds at this rate.

She drank some beer and took another cake. The waiter came out and cleared the table then gave each one a plate with a lobster, and a serving platter of fish and a bowl of corn on the cob for the table.
Sandy ate the lobster with gusto. She smiled, "Only a few pounds?" she took one of the corn cobs buttered it and totally enjoyed it.

Marc chose a brownie and a cup of tea. This was quite a stuffing match. I'll probably want to sleep for a week but in reality I'll get a few hours.

"I don't do this often, or I would be 800 pounds." She started laughing. "I'm glad you had fun. What would you like to do next?"

He walks her over to the wheel and stands patiently in the long line as night falls. Are you getting cold?
