He strides in as quietly as the whisper of a breeze. in his hand, he carries a pitcher of a drink that smells quite like chamomile and green tea, but with a stronger, spicy scent
He greets those in attendance: Tarkel, Vraxlis, Charlie and finally Kiele
Greetings. I have brought a drink from my home world. It is what my people call tail kinker tea. It is what you would call Green tea with a couple of tail kinker added to it. It is quite good"
OOC: A tail kinker is a spice about the size of a ball bearing but it packs a punch. It is 5 times hotter then a jalapeno

"I enjoy your ramblings. They're often much more sensible that some others' lectures." She laughed and took the cup somewhat warily, bitter herbs and fungus a combination she wasn't sure she was ready for. Sniffing it cautiously, the blend was different than she expected but it reminded her of the way earth smelled just after the rain. She took a sip and it was the herbal combination that asserted itself. It was in fact very bitter but the fungus mellowed the overall effect. She blinked and swallowed. This would take some getting use to. Her smile was a bit skewed as she handed the cup over to Charlie.
"A bit of an acquired taste I'd say.What do you think?" Knowing Charlie, he'd chuck the whole thing down without batting an eye.
Recovering quickly, she turned as Fetch Storm joined the group.
"A spicy green tea? That should be very interesting. Would you show us how to prepare it properly?"

Takes the cup, and takes a drink, He smelled it and enjoyed the smelled it remind him of down home, the taste was mellow to slightly strong, and bitter "Very Good, its Earthy not to strong like a mild black tea with bitters added, I like it" he drinks it down
He then looks at Fetch Storm "That sounds interesting I'd like to try it as well" he smiles

He turned to Kiele and charlie as they were sampling another tea that had been brought in. From the initial smell, it did not seem it would be that good
From the look on Kiele's face, she did not seem pleased with it. Charlie, he figured he would drink almost anything
Then He and Kiele turned to him as he entered with his tea "I would be pleased to tell you how it is prepared, as I have prepared some here" Indicated the pitcher he brought in with him
"I prepare it like you humans prepare your green tea then when it is chilled, I add about 3 or 4 tail kinkers to give it a bit of flavor. They are quite potent and shouldnt add too many"
He grabbed an empty cup off a table and poured a little and offered it to Kiele for the first taste
He then reached into a small pouch he carried and brought out what looked like dark shiny green ball bearings "these are tail kinkers" he said to Kiele and Charlie

She took the offered cup and sniffed the contents. It did in fact smell just like green tea, the tail kinkers didn't seem to add anything to the aroma. She looked too at the small hard fruit. It reminded her of juniper berries or peppercorns. Taking a small sip, her throat immediately closed up in response to the spicy flavor. She put a hand to her mouth and coughed politely, just managing to get out, "Goodness!" then clearing her throat with another cough. She laughed. "That has quite a kick to it. Perhaps it should be called a "tail kicker"!

He watched as Kiele sniffed at his spicy green tea then gingerly take a sip
Her reaction was nothing short of comical as she hoarsely spoke "goodness" and coughed a little to clear her throat adding with a laugh that they've got quite a kick to them and should be called tall kickers
He chuckle-purred his humor as his tail was so tightly spiraled, it almost cut off circulation "I have heard that they have quite a kick to them if one is not used to their flavor I think that would be a good name for them as well"

Looks at the tail kinker then pours him a cup of the tea as Kiele tries it, he looks at her when he hears her cough politely "goodness" she says then clearing her throat with another cough. She laughed "That has quite a kick to it. Perhaps it should be called a "tail kicker"!
He laughed at her comment then takes a drink "Nice got a good kick to it" he smiles and looks at Fetch Storm " Does that mean Tail Kinker on the USS Trevious is spicy?" he asks with a grin

He turned to Charlie and out right laughed, which almost sounds like a dog barking, when he said "Does that mean Tail Kinker on the USS Trevious is spicy?"
Course, this is his sibling, sister, he was talking about "It depends on your meaning of spicy. Although she'll kick your tail all the same"
He chuckle-purred again

Stepping back a little from the group as they talked among themselves. She thought it had been a enjoyable gathering, something perhaps that could be held again from time to time as schedules and duties permitted. She began cleaning up a little as their reserved time would be ending shortly.
"I'd like to thank everyone for coming by and for their contributions.There is plenty left over." She busied herself at the table, sorry they couldn't have had more time. "Anyone who would like to is welcome to take a goodie bag with them to experiment with later."

He walks over "I'll take some left overs and a goodie bag" he says as he takes them then sets them off to the side "Right after I help you clean up" he starts helping her

He asked that of charlie as well, as he also started helping them clean up

After cleaning up most of the room, he turned to Kiele and Charlie
"I shall see you two later. I am going to take a look around the Star Base"
With that, he left and went sight-seeing around the Promenade

Ambling in, a slight limp still apparent from his recient brush with discipline, he looks around before ordering his drink - the proverbial fermented camel's milk.
"I wonder if he'll be in?" The mutters to himself looking for Ga'Lar.

Ga,Lar stumbles slightly thru the door himself with a load of NCO,s set for a night of drinking and partying in the midst of thier training exercises before cominsment. his steely blue eyes casting a glance around the gathered crowd recognizing an as usual out of uniform sorts strolling casually to Shannons side." now just what Have I told you about being out of uniform?"
