In very little time, Saia had transformed her quarters into something resembling a gypsy fortune tellers tent.
On the walls, she'd hung tapestries in bright jewel colors, some of them studded with actual jewels that caught the light and sparkled like her own private starfield.
On the floor, were laid tiles in teal green and blue, similar to the colors of her own chitin. The bed had been removed, Saia preferred to sleep standing and chairs, should she have visitors brought in and arranged along one wall. She'd designed them herself to comfortably seat many different species or races. They were done in silver and gold colors but far from being as hard as the metal they resembled, the material would mold itself to the individual.
Her desk was the only thing left untouched. Piles of research marked it as a "work only" area. Not all of it was dry charts, graphs and reports, a large crystal took center stage. It was shot through with gold threads and looked like a rutilated quartz, though if you looked at them more closely the gold lines were not static and moved slightly or disappeared and reappeared in another location. The material they were composed of was sensitive to and could map the electromagnetic energy grids in any area. Though their own sensors could do the same, they could not recreate it so beautifully. She moved her hand over the cystal, feeling the slight charge it carried and smiled, then she moved to her console and tapped out a brief response to the Counselor's message.
Lt.Covous,
"I will be happy to meet with you in an hour or at your convenience."

Ones the lights dimmed Eelennia’s eyes turned black. She began to scan Buford as most Betazoid eyes are black her eyes turn as this when she scans. As he spoke she read all his emotions and thoughts that pertained to what she needed to clear him. She picked up a padd and started to write his report. After simple inquiries as this she could know him a little more then his frist words in Sick-Bay. She looked up at him and said that, “Buford, I thank you for you time and I am clearing you for duty. Also you have a wonderful mind and thank you for coming here to share a part of your self with me. You are so always welcome to come stop by for anything. Whatever we talk about will be between us. Good day my dear.” Eele smiled at him and excused him to duty or where ever he wanted to go.
As soon as Buford said whatever closing statements he may have for her and parted from her quarters. Eele finished her log and followed up on another message.
She open the message and it was from the pleasant large alien that she saw in Sick-Bay. As much she had been looking forward on speaking to Buford she had the same feeling for Saia. Eele responded back, she taps on the comm. “Lieutenant Saia, I’m now ready to receive you. Just come to my office whenever you are ready. I shale be here. Consular Covous.” She pressed sent and went back to her log while closing up sweet Buford’s file.

Samek entered his quarters, glancing about. He had barely spent any time in his quarters since he had come aboard two months prior. It still looked like a vacant room, except for a few suit cases sitting against the wall.
He started towards them, making to put the contents away. There were mainly clothing and a few odds and ends that were inside such as his medals he had accumulated throughout his career in Starfleet. He placed them besides his terminal, and items put away, he stowed the cases in a small closet.
Stepping back to his terminal, he sat, and started looking through the various crew members. He knew very few of them, and found some of their backgrounds interesting. He had served with Captain Harsting once or twice when he was an Admiral and was forced to take command of the Pegasus a few years prior, and knew him to be a capable and knowledgeable officer.

Eelennia waits for next appointment with the lovely Saia. She was still on her sofa now holding a cup of hot tea. She held it with both hands, as she was feeling slightly chilly. She could simply raise the temp but it better cooler for her patients. She puts down the cup and picks up another padd. She reads on of the other crewmembers that are directly under the department heads. Typically she would so this to learn of their department heads but since she is new and most of the officer are as well. This might not work as well but doing so still might give more in sights.
Eele started to feel ill to her stomach and her head started to hurt. She fell to her side and curled up in a ball on the sofa. Her mind started to hear all the voices of the ship all at ones. It was overwhelming in the beginning but one wasn’t from here. She thought I must be from the Starbase but it was more alien then alien. It just screamed in pain calling for help and then it stopped. She immediately got on her feet even if she was hurting and head for Sick-Bay.

Sam listened as Ann told her story, it was hard to follow and Sam was sure he missed a lot of facts from it. But to try and understand the ‘politics’ and the ‘way of things’ for her kind was damn near impossible, Sam wouldn’t try as he didn’t feel like getting a migraine.
Sam thought hard how best to respond to Ann, he wasn’t quite sure what to say, or even how to say what he didn’t know. But, everything ends by beginning, so too much analyzing wasn’t going to help. “Ann, are you sure about what you’re remembering? Or are they just random images?” Sam listened to more, still not being able to obtain any extra needed information “Well, it’s not uncommon for the mind to block out a horrific experience; selective amnesia is what it is. The mind blocks out something that happened because it’s to horrified to remember it. But you seem to be remembering it, which is also odd.” Sam took another drink, trying to think of the right words to use.
“You keep referring to yourself as a ‘slave to your people’, and where as you didn’t seem to mind before, you sure as hell have had a wake-up call from your conscience; or so it seems. We can’t change the past, but we can change the future Ann. If you chose to deal with the past, and leave it all behind, you could start ‘a new’ here aboard the Terrasect.” Pausing, catching his breath “I don’t know what’s the matter, I don’t know why you’re feeling the way you are although there are many possibilities. I think in time, taking it easy, things will clear up for you. You don’t appear injured, physically anyway, and I don’t feel that you’re a danger as you gave up your weapons and are seemingly genuine in asking for help; good news being I’m not going to drag you to Sickbay.” He smiled, he knew Ann hated that place, which always made him laugh as Sam wasn’t fond of it either.
“If you’d like to be checked out, we can stop in and have you overlooked, but I don’t think it’s required right now.” Sam placed his hands on hers, looking down “All things heal with time, as my father always told me. I think that if you take your time with this, it’ll slowly start to make more sense.” Sam put the cup down on the stand next to the bed “And hey, look at it this way, I’ll be here to help you along, to listen, to give advice, to correct when you step out of line.” Sam grinned and laughed, he remembered his father saying those same words; words he thought he’d tell his children someday, but that was an entirely separate matter.
Sam helped Ann back to her feet and on the bed, he sat next to her and placed his arm around her to help comfort her “You can also stop kneeling to me, I’m not some King of yours.” His warm, comforting smile, never leaving his face. He wasn’t sure if he could help her, but he was going to try. “Now, you don’t need a doctor, but a shower, clean clothes and some food is in order.” Sam waved to a separate room across his quarters “The shower is in there, and the replicator will, as you remember, get you food and clothing. Is there anything else I can do for you right now?”

Sam sat stunned, almost as if he no longer had control over his own body, as Ann kissed him. He gently returned the favor, although not completely aware of it, but Ann got up only after a moment. She slowly stood, commented about his smile, and departed.
Sam sat dumbfounded… “Okay…” he said to himself “I may need to get my head examined, this is all damned strange…” as if he had been covered with dust particles, Sam shook his head trying to clear it, for all the good it would do.
Sam had made a couple good calls, planning ahead just incase. He’d set aside quarters for her, the same room number that she had during her last visit, without guards. Ann was not a prisoner on this ship, not yet, nor would she be as long as things went well. Sam didn’t want to think that way, she seemed almost happy to be here, which he to thought was odd. But the more he thought about it, he figured that maybe Ann didn’t want to go back to her reality, that she truly was tired and saddened by it all, and that she saw something, something in Humanity that she could not get in her kind.
Regardless, it would take time. Sam stood, pulled and straightened his tunic and started to head out of his quarters. Like an idiot prom date, he stumbled over the chair he had been sitting in only moments prior, he cursed and kicked it aside. He exited his quarters and proceeded towards the bridge, thanking and dismissing the guards. They were only stationed for her privacy, if she felt good enough to be out and about, she had every right too. Sam headed towards the bridge, he had some business he wanted to handle there. He figured Ann would find her quarters fine and be alright for a while, Sam just hoped she grabbed the combadge that he’d had placed there for her for communication purposes.
Stopping before entering the turbo lift, he took a deep breath, looked back towards his quarters and thought “I wonder if things just got better, or worse?”, shaking his head again, trying to clear his thoughts, he entered the lift. “Bridge.” and off it went.
