She laughed, clicking loudly.
"Our race has no such physical imperatives, though I have heard that once they did. Yes, I am old enough to mate, but I have never given it any serious consideration. Someday I may feel the desire to return to my people and begin a family, but I have so much to learn and to explore first."

She smiled, "I see. And truth be told I am of the same mind. To much to see, do, learn and explore to have a family yet. Besides, its been said to be wed to a doctor is not an easy life."
"Assume for a moment we have never met. What is the most important thing you would want me to know as a doctor concerning your race."

Her expression thoughtful. "That perhaps our strengths and our weaknesses are the same. Our sensitivity to many different energies also makes us more susceptible to their influence."

Nods. "Please lay down while I take the necessary scans. We're almost finished here."

She laid back, the table/bed just long enough for her frame. Though she was very tall, she was not as massive as her frame suggested.

She began to read the scan and made notations where needed. Her biology was indeed interesting, something she never came across before. "Can you use your wings for flight?"

"No, not for flight. At some point in our evolution it became unnecessary and since then have been only a vanity, though there are times when every young one wishes it were otherwise." She tried to stay still for the scan but she couldn't help but twitch her antennae in suppressing the humor.

"I can understand that, if I had wings I would surely want to fly as well. If you don't mind" she said as she helped to sit up "if you would go to that machine for a stress test."
"Oh, what is your external temperature range before special considerations are needed. Such as cold and warmth."

Steps over to the treadmill. "What will this test Doctor?"
"I can withstand very low temerpatures, almost absolute zero but will enter a dormant phase as my systems slow. As for heat, my chitin does afford me some protection but above 325F degrees, it will also act as an "oven" and cook what is inside." She made a face that indicated a not too pleasant expression of what that might be like.

"Those are wide extremes to be sure." she said out loud as she entered this on her padd. "This machine will measure your bodies reaction to sudden stress place on it. Mainly the heart, lungs, and internal temperature. It will also give an indication of muscle and skeleton strength."

This time her laugh was loud, her antennae shaking vigorously.
"That would be provided that I had those organs, Doctor, but I can oblige you in testing my hydraulic and respiratory systems."

"Yes, please."
She did her best to hide the mounting anger at the one who would have entered the needed information. Now she felt foolish and did her best to hide it. But, still this was important for her to know, and she run a program later to make a comparison.

Sill laughing she began to run on the machine, making long slow strides at first and then picking up the pace as she adjusted to the feel of it.
"Please let me know when you wish me to discontinue."

After the standard 10 mins she had her stop. The scans took a final reading and she nodded as made a notation.
Then looking at her, "Before I forget Nurse Tang will take a sample of your blood so we can have some in case you need it later. But medically your cleared for duty. Make sure you get an appointment with the ships consular."
She walked out of the examination room to go to her office to compile the information to enter into the correct charts.

Just before turning away a man enters Sic-Bay. He was a man that she never seen before. Eele made sure that she wasn’t gawking at Buford Hound. Another nurse came forward and notified that Chief Medical MacAuley is busy at the moment. Eele nods her head and told Fong, ‘I will return later. Please have any crewmembers that need to see me to report to Deck 2 at room 2-0-0-3. If I am not there please have them contact me on comm.’ She gave another nod and began to walk out of Sick-Bay. On her way out she pass by another alien that she never seen before. Saia was a larger individual and made Eele think to modify the office a bit for her.
